Interesting perspective. I admit I don't watch it much, but I haven't heard them say much about their faith either.
Right, but if it is so important to them, it would mean they would encourage their kids to follow suit.
It seems the first season had episodes where they met with other plural families.
They've always said that they hope the children choose plural marriage, but that they understand it is not for everybody and want their children to make their own choices. I've always kind of respected that about them.
As to their faith, they are FLDS and when they lived in Utah they had a community and went to services within that community. Since they've moved to LV they don't have the same community. As the head of the household(s) Kody acts as the spiritual leader for the family and the hold services as a family every week. They only show it on special occasions, I'm guessing, because nobody wants to watch somebody else go to church lol.
They don't refer to themselves as FLDS very often unless they're denouncing Warren Jeffs and talking now about stereotypes because it tends to have negative connotations.
