ok...here it is...9:00 at night....(CST) and I am SERIOUSLY craving something sweet!! i would honestly inflict harm to someone for a Sonic Cookie Dough Blast!! it all started w/ CAcruisin....if she hadn't brought up frozen cookie dough, i wouldn't even be thinking about it!!!
did i post yesterday? heck, i can't remember one day to the next!! Anyway, today was ok....food sucked, but the day was ok... :crazy:

I know I'm gonna make AmyT mad, and I really don't mean to, but I don't think I'm gonna keep up on the Exercise Challenge....I mean, I do my workouts, sometimes it's 15 minutes of weights, sometimes it's a rendevous w/ Bob, but I just really suck at keeping up w/ my minutes. I know I walked 3 miles tonight, but I'm really not sure of the time. We power walk it, so I know it's less than an hour....also, my high season is starting to hit w/ the photography (Weddings, Families, Seniors) and I'm getting busy...May, June & July are really tough on me...I know....excuses,excuses...but most of the time, a shoot is so physically draining that I don't have anything left to workout! I know I will still keep up my walking...and soon running again, but the tougher stuff is gonna be on the back burner for now.
I'm still going to be on here...this keeps me focused...I just know that with everything going on, i feel guilty for not keeping track and logging it in.

Glad your day was ok. When I get a sweet tooth, I like Chocolate Ovaltine -- but then I look for any excuse to have another glass of milk! :rotfl2:

Sounds like you are getting exercise in both at work and your walks and that is what really matters - burnin' those calories!
 
Geez, am I that much of a hardball exercise challenge hostess? Marie, you know what you can and can't do. If you are too busy, then you are too busy! At least you are still sneaking in little bits of exercise here and there and that is what counts the most! Who cares if you don't record it as long as you squeeze it in whenever you can. Don't worry about it! :teeth:

I've never had a Sonic Cookie Dough Blast. The only time I go to Sonic is during Christmas when they have the Gingerbread Blast. Talk about heaven in a 16oz cup! :cloud9: :cloud9:

I hope things calm down a little bit for you. When you are super stressed, it is really easy to get way off track with your eating. Be sure to take some time for YOU and put your health/healthy eating first! :cheer2:
 
Hey Marie!!

What I like about you, is that you eat the chinese food, which we know isn't an entirely healthy food choice, but then you skip dinner! So it balances out. You know what you're doing...and with the nicer weather now - you'll be out there walking and possibly running when you get the chance. You're doing GREAT! I admire how much you DO with all that you have going on!! :worship:

FIrst of all, i love cookie dough so i know the weakness--although we dont have a sonic, im loving the dairy queen blizzards!
i know what you mean about having a hard time keeping up with the minutes..when i did the challenges, i did to..Of course now, i havent been working out like a lazy bum, but when i start (very soon!) i cant keep track ..i do what i can each day and leave it at that...Theres too many things to keep up with sometimes!
you seem to be doign great!
 
I just went through your journal for May and added up all your minutes. For someone not tracking minutes, it was pretty easy to add them up... :rolleyes1 :goodvibes :teeth: After the first 90 minutes you posted for May 1 & 2, you have:
5/2: 60min w/Denise + 45min walk
5/3: 45min w/Denise
5/6: 60min walk
5/7: 45min walk
5/9: 50min walk
5/10: 50min walk
You are at 445/1500!!!!!!! So update your siggie and take credit! If you post your totals like you have been, I'll try to stay on top of it and let you know where you are. You need to take credit for all your hard work and dedication! :yay:
 
Just wanted to drop by and say Hi! Marie you are doing really great at keeping track of your food, water intake and your exercise for the most part! :cheer2: I agree w/ Amy, Give yourself some credit girlfriend! :cheer2: Keep up the good work on that exercising. It is not as important that you hit the goal as it is that you did what you could toward getting there!

I also wanted to say that Chinese food isn't all bad. Depending on what you get it can actually be a fairly good choice for eating out. Just stay away from the fried foods ( :rotfl2: If that's not the pot calling the kettle black I don't know what is :rotfl2: ) and go w/ the things that are heavy on veggies/light on sauce. Also Steamed rice is key and Lots of it. I used to eat Really bad Chinese, but once I tried the healthier dishes I actually like them better. I usually get chicken w/ vegetables & steamed rice. I take about half of the dish home and usually have to add more rice for my second meal of it. Hope that is helpful :teeth:

Way to go getting those minutes in! The only way I can stomach frozen fruit is blended into a smoothie. Something just goes really wrong with the texture and I am Queen Texture Freak princess: .

I TiVoed ER and I plan on watching it this weekend. I love that show! I can't wait to see how the relationship with Neela and Ron (is that the name of her ex-roomie? I just realized I don't know what his name is!) turns out. The tension is so thick you can cut it with a scalpel!

Do you have any plans for Mother's Day? I told DH I am not doing a SINGLE THING. Too bad for him Sunday is laundry day... :goodvibes

No, we missed the finales of Earl & The Office b/c our cable went out!!! :furious: :furious:

I really hope they are rerun...because we LOVE those shows!

And when our cable goes out...so does our cable modem - so we actually had to (gulp) hold a conversation with each other last night!! :rolleyes2 :rotfl:
