Just had to post...Disney here I come in nine days!
:p
To add to my sickness, I haven't even left for this trip and I've already planned another for December!
:smooth:
Whoever has been in the past week or so, how's the weather been? Is there anything I should know that's changed since October?

We just came back two days ago and the weather has been excellent, in the 70's all week and only one day it rained , the parks were half empty for the most part last week but on friday they started to get crowded for Presidents Day week. Buzzlight , Voyage of the little mermaid and Liberty Bell boat are all closed for rehab.
Hopefully it won't be crowded when you go, otherwise plan on using fastpass anytime you can.

I'm so excited...All this snow in PA is driving me buggy since I'm home all day.

My 3-year-old daughter is counting down the days and can't wait as well. This is her first time as well as my husbands. As for me, it has been 15 years so I know a lot has changed.

Florida, here I come for 2 weeks...

I'm jealous. We were in the world last week and everything was great! Temps in the high 60's low 70's. We had rain for only 30-45 min. one day. Everything except Buzz Lightyear was open. It was great. Have a wonderful trip!

What are they doing to Buzz? I hope fixing those darned lasers! They're weak!
The good thing is Buzz and Mermaid will be open March 1, so I'm happy about that. I'm unhappy the Great Movie Ride will be closed...boo hoo.

I just looked at a 15 day weather forecast and it looks like mild temps in the 70's with off and on showers. Works for me. I just hope it's sunny enough to fit a water park day in there somewhere. Here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Alice28,
Where do you find a 15 day forecast? I can only find a 10.

I'm doing that single digit dance too, even though I was just down there in Dec. and again in Jan.

One week to go, and I need to start packing!

See you around WDW! :bounce:

Buzz Lightyear was open over this past weekend! I asked a CM about the scheduled rehab and he said that it went down on 2/8 but reopened on 2/15!!! we rode it several times during the trip. Have fun!!!

ACK! How accurate is this 15 day forecast? Its predicting rain on Monday and Tuesday for Mardi Gras.
Monalsw, what did they do to Buzz?

Angey77, I don't know how accurate that forecast is. Every time I look at it (about twice a day) it changes. Looking at it just now, it looks totally different than it did 7 hours ago. Here's to sunshine and WARM temperatures when we're there:sunny:

I doubt it's completely accurate myself. I know our local forecasts are hit or miss even when it's only 5 days out! 15 days out is kind of extreme, but it's fun to look at nonetheless..I esp like it when it says 77 and sunny! It said that a few days ago for some of our days, so hopefully it will return to that forecast. :p

Down to 8 days and 23 hours and 49 minutes for me. That is the good news. The bad news is the 15-day forecast shows rain for most of my visit. :( Guess I better pack all those ponchos I have stashed away. I really hate I am going to have to spend most of my time shopping :)

I have two ponchos now and I'm not going poncho shopping just yet! Alice28 is right with the forecasts. Every time I plan a weekend excursion to Pensacola I get a big rain forecast the Monday before and its always beautiful.
I'm PRAYING it doesn't rain march 3, I have a PS at California Grill during the fireworks!

RweTHEREyet,

Shopping?!!! Just cause it rains?!!! Nah, just put on the old ponchos and have a great time! Most of the rides are inside and the weather doesn't affect them.

Have a great time!!! I know that I'm going to!

:Pinkbounc I have it on good authority that it is NOT going to rain Saturday night, March 1st, when the Marching Patriots are coming down Main Street!:Pinkbounc

Right now, I'm liking what the forcast shows, high 70's and sunny. Yesterday it was showing thunderstorms nearly all that week. We leave for WDW on the 1st, can't wait!

Those forecast's are not worth their weight in gold. We were there last week. The morning we left home I printed out the 10 day forecast. Even when we were there, we had the paper delivered to our room everyday. I always checked the weather page. Everyday it changed, and sometimes drastically. The only one I found that was right, was the morning paper's prediction for that day.
Your in Disney, just have fun!
