If you are a Sims2 player, do you have problems with babies? Every time my families have a baby, or adopt a baby or a child it's ALWAYS a BOY!!! NEVER get a GIRL for some reason!! The only way I can get a girl baby/child is to create my own family.

Anyone else have this problem?

I get both girls and boys. That's strange that you only get boys.

My Sims families have had two babies, both boys. As a matter of fact one was born this morning!!

I've only gotten boys as well but then again I've only had three Sim families try for a baby. I've haven't gone through the adoption route yet...

I seem to get more girls than boys. I usually have to create men for my Sim women to marry.

When ever i want girls, i get boys and when ever i want boys i get girls. But at least the kids grow up!

I've had significantly more girls born than boys. Twins just a couple of times.

Hey, that happened here at our house too. :rotfl:

<<----Mom of 3 boys....

yes, you can have twins. The are very hard to take care of. I have had quite a few, one of my male Sims was abducted by aliens and had twin alien girls. They were kind of cute in a freaky way.

I heard you could get twins, but I haven't had it happen yet.

I created a woman the other day and two toddlers. And you have to make them be family members, that's different. I had to have a nanny come in to help, she couldn't keep up with the demands of both babies and get any sleep herself.

With one family the last time they got a boy baby I let social services come and take it away. Then they tried to adopt but weren't allowed to.

kasey: the Sim you had abducted by aliens, was that in Pleasantville? I always just play in Pleasantville. I've "looked around" the other two but always go back to Pleasantville. How do Sims get abducted? I know in the old one, you had to look through the telescope, is that the way this one is too? I've had Sims look through the telescope for a long time, but they don't get abducted. :(

Alien babies, how cute!! That would be fun!

My Sims are pretty much even with boys and girls. The twins that I've had are always boy girl.

I've never been successful at getting my Sims abducted by aliens......I hope to someday.

I'm so looking forward to Tuesday when the new expansion pack comes out :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I dont have this problem either but have not gotten twins after many tries.

Pleasantview is the only town I play also. My sim was looking through the "expensive" telescope. He was a knowledge Sim and had quite a bit of logic skill points (I am not sure if that matters) - but it was pretty cool. He was taken and when he was dropped back onto the property the "lullabye" music played and he was pregnant.
I am also looking forward to the University expansion pack, it comes out on tuesday.

I am a relatively new Sims2 player, and have lots of questions, but how in the heck do you get them pregnant? Aside from the obvious! LOL I have only been able to get my Lothario charcter to WOOHoo once. Is there something else to do to get them pregnant?

Have you tried downloading the patch?

www.sims2.com they also have a great tech support board there.

BTW Lothario can not try for a baby since he is engaged to Cassandra.

About Aliens, only males can be inpregnanted and if they get abducted, they are always pregnant when they return. To MAKE this happen, buy the expensive telescope and stargaze between the hours of 7pm and 2am, any other time it won't happen. (I bought the strategy guide- I'm not a nerd REALLY! )
