My dh & I are going for 4 nights to Disney and he has been thinking of adding the silver plan to our reservation. Is it worth it for 2 adults?

If you can eat your monies worth in food, then sure it is worth it. Just remember this....each "wish" is costing you about $35 a peice, so that means each of you will have to eat $35 in food. At the 2 wish restaurants, you'll each have to eat about $70 in food!! If you can do that, then by all means go for it! Don't forget things like spa treatments or tours, you will definitely get your monies worth then.

Have fun no matter what you decide. :teeth:

You will spend most of your time eating!LOL

Don't forget the shows also, like Hoop De Doo, the Luau and Cirque.

It's a great way to experience the finer restaurants without feeling the pinch!

If you go silver, definately try California Grille, Jiko, etc.

DD just loves her "Steakie" now! (Filet Mignon!)

We are celebrating at JIKO before our cruise for her Birthday 'cause I did the mistake of asking where she would like to eat at WDW!

Enjoy your trip!

Now I'm really not sure that we would like to do that. Cirque would be nice and we are already planning on eating at Artiste Pointe. How expensive is that one? We do not drink any alcohol so don't have to worry about that. Would virgin drinks be included though? I really like virgin pina coloda's and strawberry daiquairies(sp) but can do without them.

I usually only drink water with my meals.

I found that we were spending a lot of time in restaurants instead of going to the parks, which would be good if the parks were closing at an early time.

For pricing go to All Ears, they have the prices listed with their menus.

Just found my info, Soda, juice, milk, regular coffe or tea. Not available for alcoholic bevs, milkshakes, smothies, specialty drinks and bottled drinks.

Thanks Scratch. I'm not sure that I want to do that. We really don't want to spend all our time at restaurants. It is early Feb. though so some of the parks do close fairly early but we would probably go to DD and shop.

It Really does depend on how you will spend your time. We (family with 3 young children) used a Disney all inclusive many years ago (Gold Plan, I think), and I saved all of our receipts. We definitely "used" more than we paid. That said, on our trip 2 weeks ago (Myself, DH and adult DS) I decided we would not get the value from the Sivler Plan. As others have said, if this is a trip where you would like to experience some of the things other than the parks that Disney has to offer - than yes. BUT you need to be interested in experiencing the recreational opportunities (Boats, Golf, Parasailing etc.), Spa treatments, be interested in some of the in-depth Tours or Cirque (which is WONDERFUL - by the way) and be prepared to eat at the most expensive, and therefore, perhaps, slower restaurants. Depending on what interests you, you can receive value on the Silver Plan, if it fits with your goals and your touring plans. Good Luck in your decision.
