My brother is thinking about going to Disney with us in Feb. My question is: He has limited sight, uses a sight cane and sunlight even with sunglasses bothers him, what would be the best way for him to experience Disney. He may have trouble getting in and out of some attractions. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Welcome.
I remembered there was a thread a while ago that had a lot of good info. CLICK HERE for the thread.
And we have some very friendly posters who can give first hand advice if they come upon your question.

Is he young?

If strong sunlight is going to bother his eyes, I would suggest going to the parks as late in the day as possible.

Beyond that, ask him what he needs for help.... he could wear a baseball cap in addition to sunglasses to block even more light.

A pair of "wrap around" sunglasses large enough to go over a pair of ordinary sunglasses may be useful. He could wear both pairs in bright daylight, one pair in medium conditions, and none inside during the show.

Having used many different kinds of non-automatic cameras I fully understand the need to adjust for sunlight versus twilight versus indoor conditions, unfortunately with sunglasses changing back and forth is cumbersome.

I wore a wide-brimmed straw hat that helped a lot...definitely more than sunglasses alone. Be sure to obtain a Guest Assistance Card. How this card applies for visual impairments depends on the attraction and your brother's needs. I need to sit up front and center, but the pre-fab card said up front only and I was told it couldn't be amended. I was a little bummed, but it was ok. Also, hope for clouds. They cut down on the sun and I had fewer headaches. If you'd like to ask anything specific, please feel free to PM me. I've got pretty low-vision and I just got back from WDW. I'd be glad to help...:)
