Spaceship Earth Lounge Menu Released, opening June 4th

Is the whole lounge going to be packages or just the few tables right next to the window? I just wonder how they will keep the other patrons from walking up and standing next to the tables paying the premium, because we all know how territorial some guests can be when it comes to fireworks viewing. Perhaps they will rope that area off or something to keep them separate. . .

My guess is they will make then entire lounge park of the package. At least it would not surprise me. I super want to do this but my DH does not drink so I may have to go alone for our June trip. I wonder if they do mocktails? lol

There are mocktails on the menu. Though for the package I didn't see a price differential.

Likely the whole lounge will be part of the package just as they did with certain restaurants that have great viewing areas. The menu sounds rather specific mentioning tableside in other words they will only be booking tables. Those who came for 1 drink or app only to share with the intentions of staying 3 hours will be ejected into space and floating for all to see on the descent to Earth around 7 PM.

From MDE:
Each Seat Is Superb
Your party will be seated at a private table beside the window in GEO-82. You'll be perfectly positioned to enjoy dazzling views of Luminous...
If that means they rope off the window seats, unclear. If they're gonna close and have all non-package patrons gone by showtime we should know when the hours come out. They could also request all patrons in the bar area be seated through the show if they are not leaving, might be a classier way to do it especially if they dim the lights in the bar for the show.

They could run it without roping off the windows or preventing normal patrons from crowding by leaning into the premium package part of it with the drinks and fancy bites being what you're really paying for- but at $179pp that is a very hard sell even for the Mouse. "Well Bob, it was a lovely package until the person who shoved themselves up against my chair spilled their drink on me in the middle of the fireworks..."

I wish they would flex some of their creative muscles to give those of us who choose not to drink better options. There are 10 featured cocktails and lots of wine options but just 2 “mocktails” on the menu, and neither look appealing to me AT ALL. Compare that to Oga’s, for example, where there are lots of creative non-alcoholic options so everyone can find something that appeals to them. It’s a shame because the food could have been interesting and we have no problem spending money on special Disney experiences, but I can’t ever see us going to a place like this.

They didn’t show the actual menu, just listed their featured items. Perhaps there will be more options on the actual menu. I don’t drink alcohol either (don’t like the taste), and those two mocktails sounded awful to me. I would rather have an iced tea than either of those drinks.

I'd be shocked if they don't do mocktails, especially because the bar already has mocktails on the menu.

True. For their sake I hope they have a few more choices. But the Villain’s Lair at BLT was also pretty bad for non-alcoholic options when we visited, so I’m not holding out a lot of hope. It just doesn’t seem like a priority, and I wish that would change.
