I am not quite sure of what you are talking about but if a poster said something that made me wonder or posted pictures that were out of the norm, then again, it boils down to personal responsiblity. I have to believe that everyone makes judgement calls every day.

In this day and age, we are taught to be cautious and careful. If anyone causes my radar to go up online, then it is what it is.

Anyone can accuse, but the truth comes out when the jury speaks.

I don't know if they are still doing it, I am just basing that on what I know from when I did read over there which was back in Feb or so. I am just believe that they still are, since I doubt they've changed much, if at all.

Too late, I already did. I also wanted to add that even after I did stop reading there I still recieved PMs and e-mails about that site for awhile, which led me to then turning off my PM option for awhile. Thank God I never gave anyone my real e-mail address here, that's all I can say about that.

When a group of so-called adults get together to compare notes and information about internet personas, that's bigger than bullying. It's outright stalking and harassment. And it's a danger to the person they're doing it to. I think DisneyFav needs to keep an eye on what goes on at that site to protect herself. These people did, in fact, post that they would track her down on her Disney vacation and photograph her.

I don't blame the Dis WMs one bit for trying to put a stop to that kind of thing. It's made some people unhappy in the process, but hey, if they can't take the heat, they shouldn't be in the internet kitchen, right?

One more thing, this whole thing opened a Pandora's Box that can't ever be closed. Nothing is going to change what happened over a month ago, and the board will never be the same as it was before then.

Just like this board can never be what it was 8 years ago.

And to be honest, so what if someone on another board says nasty things about you, I for one could not care less, my parents taught me to ignore things I don't care to dignify with a response. Much of my 'ridicule' had nothing to do with what I posted. Much of what is being said I posted is like a game of Telephone. Way beyond exaggerated. And twisted, and contorted.

Well since you asked, YES, a lot of your posts seem to smack of insecurity and you wanting to shout people down who disagree with you because you can't handle it in a mature way, at least that is my opinion. And I say this as a person with no personal interaction with you ever, just what I have read here recently. You asked so hopefully I won't get in trouble for saying it, I have no idea what is up with you and pit bulls but when I first started posting I could not believe you were going on threads of kids mauled by those dogs and making insensitive comments, it's like you are in a panic that people will disagree with you or not like you, I'm sure you will disagree with everything I've said here but oh well, that is my opinion and I'm sure it's not worth anything to you. But you asked and I don't give a rip who likes me as long as I know I am speaking the truth (about my opinion) so oh well. And I am out in the open with it and not on another site saying it.

And disneyfaveforever (sorry not scrolling back to write it exactly, no offense on that honestly, just too lazy) I don't know what all has been said about you but honestly as I said in my last post, who cares, just let it go, if you know it's not true then hold your head up high but if there is a grain of truth in it try to make your life better, as you said only you know the whole truth so if it's all lies then just know they are wrong and move on with your life. It is not a matter of letting people bully you, you can't control other people ever no matter what you do, you can only control your reaction to it. I swear even after reading this site for one month through fresh eyes I can honestly say it's amazing to me how many adults lack basic mature skills to just roll with it and understand not everyone likes them, agrees, etc. Now let's hope I don't get in trouble for saying what I honestly think since I need the restaurant board to help plan my counter service meals!! And they helped me with my reservations a few weeks ago, thank you DIS!!!!! So please don't kick me off!!!

What I find ironic is that when I read Carly Roach's posts about the other site, I wonder, "How does she know all this stuff and isn't it against the rules to read there?" How come she isn't banned? The problem seems to be inconsistancy.

Well, I have read that other board since it started 100 years ago (it has been 100, hasn't it? Seems like it).

It evolved into a really nasty place for quite some years. Then, the more people who found it, the more different it became. Oh yes, it'll get hooked on a few particular posters from here and pile on, but it is far less nasty than in years back. However, I can't, for the life of me, help but wonder why they find some people so fascinating? That ''hate" these people or find them highly annoying or stupid and yet all they do is harp on and on about them. Weird. And sad. And very telling.
Anyway, I think the more people who found it, just thought they'd found a new place where they could hash about stuff that bugged them here etc. instead of the real nastiness that it used to be. that is why I think a lot of *innocent* people got caught up in the banning.

Some of those paople moved on to other sites to do more of the same and some of them realized it wasn't the right thing for them to be doing and their "friends" would stab them in the back pretty quickly so they moved on also.
Will I get banned here for saying I've read there for years? Maybe...hun. But I think the DIS people who know me have known I've read there all this time. Heck, they do too or they wouldn't know what is being said about "their people"!

That's how I found the place, and it was from someone who is a frequent poster over there. Before that, I had no idea the place even existed.

And I am sure it was no mistake you were sent the link. What fun would it have been to discuss you if you didn't know about the things being said. They could only have "fun" behind your back for so long then it became a waste.

I have been ignoring them for the last few months, and for that matter anytime I talk in the present tense about them, it really should be past tense since I have no idea what they are talking about now, I'm just assuming, but I don't really care since they don't know the whole truth, and are just going off their opinions of me, which I know are low, but I don't really care what someone I've never met thinks of me.

There's a quote from somewhere, and I have it on one of my accounts, "those who mind, don't matter, and those who matter, don't mind," that's exactly how I feel.

But I can't just read threads like this one that say those people did nothing wrong, without replying, that's just the way I am. If these threads stopped, it would be out of my mind.
