shuttle to universal studios/islands of adventure??

i know its a sin to mention walt disney world and universal studios/islands of adventure in the same sentence, but does disney offer shuttles from disney resorts or any location in walt disney world, to universal studios? i plan on traveling with 5 other peers for our high school graduation for 9 nights, and although we all do love disney we'd really like to get to do the roller coasters and other exciting rides offered at universal. do those hotels across from downtown disney offer shuttles, if not disney resorts, and would we be able to pay for a seat on them over taking a cab from our disney resort? all information is appreciated, thank you!!!

No, Disney does not have shuttles to Universal. But you can take a bus shuttle provided by Mears. Head to their website and see what they have. I believe that you have to call them the night before, and they will give you a pickup time that they will be at your resort. Then they will give you times to be returned at the end of the day. It's a per person charge.

you might also try "Dollar rent a car" they are at the Grosvenor Resort at DTD. Their code is MCOS01 I got a minivan for 3 days June 6-9 for $29 per day. The code that I used in the promo area was KISSE. For our group of 8 it was alot cheaper to rent the van.

It appears that the OP is a high school senior, at that age they most likely will not be able to rent a car.

thanks, I didn't really notice that this was probably one of the students and not a chaperone. At that point, take MEARS.

For 6 adults you might as well take a car service. I'm not sure if FLTOURS will book non-airport transfers but you might also some of the other companies. A couple of independent drivers post on DIS, you could also check with them.
