Shutterfly Shipping ?? Why would they do this?

I orderd a bunch of stuff from Shutterfly. I knew it was going to be shipped seperately. I got some of it yesterday. I went to check on the book I ordered and it was sent to Buffalo (an hour away)...then it was sent to Pennsylvania!!! I don't get why the post office would send it from Buffalo, down to near Pittsburgh, then back up to Rochester!?!?!

Has this happened to anyone else?

That is how FedEx became so efficient at the overnight business. People thought the guy was nuts, but it is a brilliant model.
