Shrunk kids play area at night?

Does anyone know if the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area at MGM is open after dark? If the wilder ones in the bunch go watch Fantasmic! or ride TOT late I was hoping the littler ones could play there. Thanks for your help!

i don't know about the rest of the year... but last week when we were there is was closed down around 4 i think (I know it was still light out.... (and that's with the park open until 7pm). The kids were bummed...

Its been 2 years, but when we were there in 2002, it closed at dusk. I suspect that with all the little nooks and crannies there would be many area that would be lit, it would be unsafe. Completely a guess though

Oh, I can completely understand why they would close it after dark but why when it was still light out?

If it was around 4 in July, then I have no idea.

Around 4 in December or January, it is definately on its way to getting dark. Plus I would imagine its not an easy attraction to shut down in terms of getting people out. Maybe they work in a cushion. But bottom line is I really don't know.
