Show me the shot you're most proud of

I was amusing myself by badgering you with the advice so often given to photographers - "move around", "try different angles", "change your perspective." That's great when you're shooting a flower or a kid. For moon shots, it's not terribly practical.

But it would be pretty cool! Anybody got a lunar orbiter we can bum a ride on? ;)

If you were offered such a chance, would you take it? The odds of dying must be something like 1%-3% on a space flight. Is it worth it or not? I think I would have done it when I was single and childless, but I don't think I'd go now.

This first I am proud of because I took it handheld with a 1/8 second shutter speed. I used a couple techniques to steady the shot that I picked up on the DIS boards :thumbsup2 :

I really love taking pictures of squirrels, I know its a little weird, but I love squirrels. Here are my two favorite shots:

Too cute! Was this taken in DC? I see a Metrobus! :)

short answer, no..if i am going to be cremated i want to be dead first.
but the moon shot "antics "do remind me how my otherwise intelligent ex son in lw told me i couldn't take sunset pics in fl. due to it being on the east coast...making me wonder what he thinks that big orange that drops into lake erie every night really is;)

Everyone's pictures are great, thanks for sharing. MontanaZoo, your eagle shot is awesome, I love it. And you weren't even looking.
One of my favorites is a rather old one - film. I'll have to scan it sometime & post.

Yeah, too bad the keepers have only let me in to the eagle and owl exhibits. :) I would get great shots of the bear when we get one next month from inside the exhibit.

Inside of the exhibit is nice...inside of the bear, not so much. :lmao:

Great shots, everyone! :thumbsup2 We're going to our first rugrat soccer game tomorrow since we got the new camera. Can't wait to try a few things out. :teeth:

I got this shot of my sisters dog when we were visiting her at The Cape last summer. Taken with a Canon A540- got lucky to have caught him in this pose.
