What should my kids where? Sneakers would probably be the most comfortable, but they are going ot make their feet hot, they'll get wet with sweat and wet from rides & waterplay. Which then they'll be uncomfortable for the rest of the day. Crocs? They have crocs but they fall off sometimes and i've never owned a pair and don't think they can be comfortable to wear all day. Sandals? The kinds that have sneaker type soles and velcro closures.

Well I am not an expert at all on shoes and I haven't done Disney a million times like others, but I am a city carrier for the USPS and I walk all day long. Anyway, for my dd(4) I am going to try to find some sandals made of this foamy plastic material. I have two pairs of flip flops made from this material, one pair I work to MK last year and my feet did not hurt at all. They are actually my favorite shoes period.

I was going to post a link to show you the ones I have but can't. But if you go on Nike dot com you can go to the women's section and see the kind I'm talking about, they are white Nike's.

Anyway I am looking for a pair of sandals in this material for her.

But I must add I have flat feet, so these sandals do not hurt me at all.

My three kids wore crocks for three trips, the first one, they got blisters where the "rivet" thingy is located on the strap. After that, I had them wear socks (not fashionable) but it did the trick! No more blisters.

Sometimes they go without socks but I watch out for those "hot spots". Also started using moleskin in the trouble spots.

We tried the sneakers, but during hot months, they are just not that comfortable and the sweating leads again to blisters.

Blisters make life MISERABLE for everybody concerned!

I will stick to the crocks as long as they will wear them.:worship:

My kids will be wearing their crocs, but we will take a pair of sneakers just in case.

My dgd wore her crocs everyday at Disney and did not have any feet issues. We put the straps around her heels, kept them from falling off. When her feet got wet, her feet and crocs dried very quick. I wore them also and loved them. Oh, one more thing my dd has heel spurs, she wore crocs too every day for 10 days and had no problems either. That is all she wears now.

Bring their crocs no matter what. My DS9 got blisters from the water type sneakers and flip flops during our last trip in January. We did not bring his crocs. They are getting a bit small for him. We ended up buying a pair there for over $40.

Our family didn't own a single pair of Crocs until 4 days before our vacation in June. I bought the kid "Scutes" on shoestation.com (with a 20% off coupon). They wore them every day and NOT ONE complaint or blister on those little feet! I'm a convert! Wish I had bought some for myself!
