Hi all!

We just got in from our 8 hour day at MK....crowds a bit bigger today but we still didn't wait motr than 10 minutes for anything! And we got a bit of magic today, after a early afternoon attitude :sad2: from one of the DD's, I said to DH we should go back to the resort because we were all getting cranky, when from a little side door beside the restrooms beside Pinochios restaurant a CM comes up to us. she asks if we want to test a new attraction...UM....OF COURSE! :cool1:

So we got to go in through side door to new fantasyland and do the "story time with Belle!". It was so neat, the girls got to take part in the story, and Maurices Cottage is so cool! I was beaming, and my eldest told me I looked too happy and almost "creepy"... Nice.

Anyhow, going to dinner soon at Chef Mickeys, Ohana last night was soooo good, better than I remembered it! I could live on just the noodles and salad alone!

Candace: you made the right choice!
Marie: yes we do have a balcony...sat out last night for a bit:goodvibes

:wave2: to everyone else!

That is sooooo exciting!!!!! I saw a video on that attraction, it looks super cute!!! I am so glad the girls got to experience it! Glad you are having a great time, even of there is a bit of DD drama ;)

:wave2: to everyone! Busy week trying to get organized to be away got 2 weeks. No packing done, but a lot of chores and errands. I am a member of the last minute packing club :rotfl:
We're going to miss you, but you know how happy I am for you that you're going to WDW! It's very salubrious::yes::

Kookamunga is going to be pleasantly surprised....there's talk of WL in my house. :rolleyes1
And I thought that Jeanette had come up with every possible play on my screen name:rotfl:

You know I approve of this message, but is everyone on the same page at the disneydreamin247 abode? I remember you had a bad experience there once, but I'm proud of you for reconsidering it!

I know I've missed so much, but just wanted to jump back in! The Disney Wonder to Alaska was absolutely amazing and now I'm starting to focus on our MNSSHP trip coming up in a few weeks and our January trip.

Thanks to KOOK for breakfast advice at CR - after I made our Wave ADR, our older boys started lobbying for Contempo again - what can you do? Also considering CL, which is $150 extra for one night with the AP discount, but we would only be in the lounge for one breakfast, but no evening appetizers/wine or desserts. Not sure it would be worth it under those circumstances.

So we're holding steady with BC/CR for October. And holding steady with Poly/BWI CL for January, but starting to waiver on the BWI CL choice for the second half of that trip. Worried I'll miss BC/YC, but really love CL at BWI and if we get a Boardwalk view, it's one of my favorite views at WDW.

Hope I can start to catch up - I see Pas has a January CR booking!

Hi jennyjinx! Hope you have a wonderful trip!!!
I wouldn't pay $150 for just one night of CL, especially at CR. I like the Epcot/MK split for you:thumbsup2

My friend made brownies with a bacon topping is was yummy!!!!

I'm at BWI now....too much monorail loop construction....:furious:

Resort subject to change...I called and almost changed to YC & WL :goodvibes
Everything is better with bacon. I think I need to make this for DD's birthday next month:

Bacon-Birthday-Cake.jpg

You haven't tried BWI yet, right? Yes, I've lost track... You need to try it if you haven't, but are you doing CL?

What a great day! Don't worry, my DD once told me she couldn't believe how happy I am at WDW and then I think she shook her head in disbelief like this:sad2:

I want to check out BWI while we are at YC, I like the look of it online but my kids are freaked out by the clown slide at the pool ;) I think my final set up so far is good, but we all know how easily that can change, lol! YC for Sep & Oct, CR in Dec, and WL in Feb :) We haven't stayed at a deluxe in a long time and never at the Epcot resorts, so I am very excited for this weekend!!!

Laundry is started and the packing will begin tonight, then tomorrow I will run to the grocery store for some snacks (and so I leave DS(19) with food in the house)....it's so close now!!!!!

We might do BWI for our adults only trip next year! I can't believe you are going in 2 days! Get the scoop for us on the pool and how the refurbs are impacting the dining choices!!

MM - we also have an 8 yo dd. BUT, she is #3 and that definitely makes a difference. I probably would have said yes to the pizza and movie but definitely not to the overnight. I am lucky that none of my kids have asked to spend the night with anyone we don't know. I am worried when oldest dd starts high school next year. I think it will be harder to get to know parents so then what do you do?

Wow, Jen! How flippin' cool is that! :goodvibes

Melissa: I hope you guys love YC. We went a bit  over the area last year. You'll have to tell us how the pool is!

---------------

Today's Disney Madness Update: name tags are done, ordered a case of water (despite getting bottles from CL, we go through it like crazy), found another Halloween goodie at Target this A.M. so packed that away (darn that dollar section) ... need to go update my spreadsheet with "White Chocolate Elephant - Kusafiri Coffee Shop" aaaaaaannnnnd I really need to stay off that Cupcake thread. :rotfl:

Jen - that's awesome about the Belle experience!

Oh no! I hope my post didn't sound like I was second guessing your choice! That's not what I meant at all. I was just trying to draw the comparison between 1st kids and 3rd kids. My two older ones always say youngest dd gets to do whatever she wants. Dh and I tell them it's because they have already worn us down! Big huge apologies if my post sounded like anything else! You always have to trust your mommy instinct!

Nope!!! I thought you were being supportive! :goodvibes
I know it's because she's our oldest that we are a little more protective...the girl who's birthday she was invited to is the youngest of 4, so I know her parents have been there, done that. I have to ease into these things...

You all should head over to the restaurants board and see the "outrage" about BOG serving alcohol....literally (and I did post this in the thread), it is ironic that they are behaving like the angry mob at the end of Beauty and the Beast. :rotfl2:

Why do people care so much about what others do??? :confused3

I definitely will. From what I am reading most people seem happy with the accommodations that were made with HH closed for refurb. I'll let you know how first hand how it is, although I don't know what it was like prior to the closing ;)

to join in on the fun???? :)

:welcome: Welcome, make yourself at home! And if you have the WDW reservations phone # saved on your phone, we understand. :rotfl: Resort changers are known to make a call or two...or more. Lots of great information shared here, and it's really helpful as we consider all the resort choices.
What brings you to the neighborhood? :goodvibes

You'd have a lot to catch up on!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Welcome!!! So, what have you done to feel you needed to end up on this thread...:rotfl::lmao:

:rotfl: Since the first step is to admit the problem - I am a compulsive indecisive person...or rather, I make up my mind...and then change it a gazillion times. My family does not *believe* me regarding final location/hotel/restaurant, etc. until we actually check-in. We were supposed to be in SC this week at the beach, but...we're at Disney :lmao:

ETA: And I'm going to book WL tomorrow for our next trip, but I have voices in my head saying "Beach Club" and "Poly". If anyone can make them stop!

It definitely sounds like you belong!!! A few things, it's a lifetime membership. We are led by the queen of resort changers pas130 (Jeanette).
Lastly, we are like a family over here, so prepare to be addicted...we are a chatty bunch. :goodvibes

That being said...I absolutely LOVE the WL :lovestruc
We just spent 11 days there in July and it was amazing!! (if you can spring for CL, do it!!!)
We would totally be going back in April, but really want to continue our ques to the every Disney resort...so...YC and Poly CL it is. But, I highly recommend the WL!!! ::yes::

I think it's possible we hear the same voices. :rotfl2:
We've stayed at WL, and loved it! That place is wonderful!
Haven't stayed at Beach Club, but really love the Epcot resorts. It's so easy to get to HS and Epcot, that is a huge plus for us.
Want to stay at Poly someday. Too many resorts, too little time. :)

I totally understand!! So far for this year alone we had a deposit on a cruise (cancelled), deposit for Beaches Turks & Caicos (cancelled) and now have 5 Disney trips booked that have all probably been changed (date or resort) at least once ;) My DD was so excited to be staying in a Royal Room at POR, but yep, we changed that too, LOL!! So I think you have found the right home for your "voices"!

I just have to say that it is SO NICE to meet people who have the same issues!!! My DH just goes with the flow and leaves ALL decision making to me (probaby part of the problem!), but I suspect that my friends and family think I'm a little nuts. Or a lot.

I have researched and booked more vacations that were never taken, that my friends come to me for travel advice regardless of whether we've actually stayed at that particular resort or used that cruise line.

welcome! I am a novice changer compared to most of these ladies! I changed my dates 3 times but stayed committed to my resort once I booked it. I do all of my waffling before I put my money down!

I forgot to comment on this. I saw the posts and people going nuts! you a so right they ARE like angry mob, lol! It's kinda funny reading some of the arguments that go on. I think it's great that at a French restaurant they are offering wine (and beer)! And, like others said on the boards, alcohol is a HUGE profit center, I would rather see that offered more than the increases we keep seeing in ticket and resort prices.
