I am having SUCH a hard time settling on a resort choice!!! (and I have 8 months to go!!!!)

My reservations have gone from BC-YC GV-POLY-BWI in the matter of a week and a half!!! I've lost my mind!

And, my kids just keep saying WL!!! DH wouldn't argue with WL, but also agrees that we should try something new...we all loved WL soooo much...

What's a girl to do????? What would you do?? Where will Mousemommy's family stay this trip???

Minnie&Nana and Sjs for both of you. It has been expressed beautifully by others but know you are in my heart and my prayers during this tough season. Having the blues is okay, just know they are watching you from above. Honoring them with balloons and sharing the Disney spirit is so special.

34 days. 34 DAYS! Where's the time going?!

Also, I have a confession to make: I am officially now at my panic-limit with 6 ADRs. I suffer from ADR-claustrophobia. (I went ahead and booked Cape May for breakfast since there's no way we'd be able to "sneak by" out to the pool without kidlet noticing the restaurant and remembering who's inside! )

I like trying a new resort, my dream of staying at them all will never happen Disney just built too darn many new resorts since my first trip in '89.

It will be interesting to see where you do end up staying

Kindergarten is so hard for us Mommies

Yay for booking the flight

I have a friend who is a teacher and always up early, and when she hears me crying on the other end of the phone asks if it is a kindergarten starting day or if I am pregnant Even though it is only kindergarten it is like we are sending them out into the "real world".

I'm a strange one ... I made it thru kindergarten no problems but when I dropped my DS off for his first day of high school ... tears as soon as he was out of the car. Just looking at all those boys driving cars ... and they weren't even boys .... more like men!!! Not my little boy!

Oh high school was brutal, probably harder than kindergarten days. I was so afraid DS was going to get lost in the shuffle. I also knew what I did in high school and was petrified for him to do the same. But he made it, and then graduation was just a bawl fest for me

My baby starts Kindergarten this year, it's been hard for me. I will have a Kindergartner and a 3rd grader!!! What happened to my babies!!!!

Ugh, they grow up and aren't babies anymore. But of course they do this while we stay the same age

We are leaving tonight, staying near the airport in our nations capitol. I don't want to have to travel in rush hour traffic in the morning. I printed out lists for everyone and I'm checking them twice.....

I have begun taking pictures (not sure what to do yet but I am determined). Pas YOU inspire ME

I am inboxing you kook. If my secret plan works....I may be taking pictures from the balcony of a 'certain" resort......just saying....

We will check into Portofino Bay tomorrow for the first leg of our trip (3 nights) then 2 days at the Hilton Grand for Sea World/Discovery Cove, Aquatica then off to Disney for 6 nights (who knows where.... )

Have a great trip!!! We had such a great experience at Portofino Bay last November. Brought a bottle of wine with us and enjoyed it sitting outside listening to live music and letting the kids chase the ducks by the water and dock. Loved taking the boat into Universal! Although we made the mistake of walking to the parks one morning, and my older DS thought he would be helpful and put younger DS on his shoulders, helpful that was until he tripped and they both went down. We spent the morning in First Aid instead of Harry Potter But still a great trip none the less.

I have seen you post a few places on the boards and just laugh. I have to say my kids are so excited for the YC and SAB! I think for a summer trip it may just be a MUST DO. I will let you know in a month if I still feel the same way DH wants to try new places with each trip, but I honestly like to find something I like and stick with it. Impossible to please everyone, well unless of course you are talking about Disney

We leave mid-day for Poly. I am thinking Tuvalu will be where we bed down if our "grand gathering" works out as it should. Our travel buddies have already checked in there.

So, we are currently booked in a studio/standard view at Bay lake towers 12/7-12/15.

BLT is our home resort, yet we have only stayed there once, briefly. We liked it, but I feel like we didn't give it a fair shot, so DH wants to stick with out home resort. (The castle in Icecicle lgihts? )
However, I have been thinking of waitlisting us at Animal kingdom lodge, or wilderness lodge.....AHHHH....talk me into just staying at BLT. Or should I wiatlist and let fate decide??

Knowing me, one of my waitlists will come through and I will regret it!!!!

I would probably choose to stay at BLT. But, I'm biased since BLT/Contemporary is my #1 dream resort & I want to stay there.

Second choice would be WL. It's so pretty at Christmas time.
