Thank you to my family for all the encouragement!! I'll stay put at the POLY and enjoy my wonderful trip. We've got lots planned, I'm sure it will be a blast!

Just to allay your WL fears, there is plenty to do. What I love about its location is that you are just a quick boat or bus ride away from the MK and 3 other resorts and you have another resort right next door that you can boat or walk right to. FW has horseback riding (we loved doing this on Christmas day) and pony rides, stables, petting zoo, canoing, fishing, trails, archery, two restaurants, Mickey's Backyard BBQ... Just looking at all the decorated RVs is fun!
WL has two hot tubs, activities for the kids in the afternoon at the Cub's Den, free movies on the beach and a free marshmallow roast at night. The EWP comes by nightly at 9:35. I think your kids would love the Cub's Den and there's an arcade right across from it. They have fun pool activities for the kids - The marina offers many activities and there are bike and surrey rentals and a wonderful health club that offers massages/facials. There are two restaurants and a QS right in the bldg. so no need to venture outside to eat when it's raining
There's plenty to see and do at WL
November 10, 2013. I am just nervous that a 3 night won't really give us enough of a taste of what a cruise can offer, and I really want DH to love it!! All he wants is 4 nights at WDW after, so we can still do that...I will make sure of it!

This is exactly the info I needed to see!!! As weekend warriors we have missed out on all the resorts have to offer. Now I am excited for WL
To all those that have experienced losses, I am very truly sorry for your loss. When my good friend lost her son, a few us started "paying it forward" in his honor on his angel day and his birthday, as well as when ever we felt like it. It is comforting (even if just a bit) to know that we can make someone smile in his honor. My oldest DS even dedicated his Bar Mitzvah project to her son, and it was so very special to everyone.

Silly side note: I am going to change our cruise in 2013 to a 4 nighter again, DH doesn't have to know yet!

So Sheila, I was saving this for my TR...but I will bring it up here....
Each visit to the parks, after riding the rides, DH and I would get a second Fastpass. Epcot we got Soarin', MK we got BTMRR....
With the kids we always release the balloons for our RC Angels
DH and I decided this trip, we would gift the FP....
We were eating in MK Bakery, and a woman asked about my dessert.Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich...YUM. It was a couple, most likely late 50s, very sweet from Australia....I asked by the way, are the two of you going on BTMRR? The Gentleman replied, hopefully. I placed the FP on the table and said, please enjoy the ride and have a Magical vacation.
After a moment, he walked up to our table and said, "We come here all the time after losing our son, and I always give away our Fastpasses, no one has ever returned the favor" So all I could say was "I am so sorry" and all he could say was "Thank you"
The reason I am telling you this Sheila (and Christine & Dani) is that our RC Angels are forever with us

Just know that I know all about seasons and times-of-year and how they effect us.....so...sending you hugs, sunshine and all of the happy memories you can muster up that help you through times like these.

MMWe visited the Poly years ago when we went to the Ahloha Dinner I feel in love immediately Bob did not like it at allHis all time favorite was WL, he liked WL even more than YC and we were upgraded to CL @ YC
I wanted to stay at BW since it was built. We visited but Bob felt it would be too noisy there in the evenings but he gave in and fell on love with the BW 110% so you just really do not know until you stay someplace.
Marie Congrates on the Subaru ! You will not be sorry. I had 2, DH has had 5 and DS Jason had 2 since 1983 IMO You made the right choice

Were off to Wyoming, I love our trips there! (A bit of confusion with my neighbor, apparently there is a Wyoming Michigan. As a new resident, I wasnt aware but it was funny when she realized were going to Wyoming the state.
