ok..I'm gathering that you are not supposed to do this?? But we would waste so much foof. We would all have the dining plan: 5 of us 2 adults, 13yo, 11yo, and 6yo. So let us say we went to the Coral Reef. What if I only got 3 adult meals and 1 child. That would be MORE than enough for us to all eat, especially since we have dessert. Am I understanding that we wouldn't be allowed to do this? This would especially help for thos extra TS I'm going to have. Only me and my daughter will be going to Cindy's which will cost us each 2TS's. So we will have 2 fewer TS's than the men/boys. If I could share with them at a certain time, that would help. BTW, Dh and I do this all the time at regular restaurants. We share an adult meal because it is WAY too much food for the two of us!!

I can't see that being a problem as long as you don't get at a buffet restaurant. We order 1 kids meal to share between our 2 DD kids plan, as my DD4 was not a big eater. We just payed for the extra drink. But would you be better to pay for your DD6 meal out of pocket at Coral Reef, and save that for the extra CRT. It is upto you how you order. I even ordered my DD an appetizer only at a restaurant, and had the extra TS child service for a buffet meal that i knew i could not charge.

Can anyone else confirm this? We're going in July and DS is 14 and DD is 12 - there are probably places/meals that they won't care all that much for. Can I order one for them to split - PROVIDING that it's NOT buffet???

While there have been occasional (rare) reports of diners not being allowed to share food, for the most part you CAN share food with others in your party on the Dining Plan. You probably can't share food with diners not on the DDP, and you definitely cannot share your dining credits with others not on the dining plan.

I would guess that they would be a little more strict about sharing at a buffet ... if no buffet or no one at your table orders the buffet, should not be a problem. The restaurant would want to guard against someone ordering a buffet (all you can eat) for one person and having more than one person eat. Other than that, I can not see why you could not "save" one TS per meal and save them for use at another time.
