Shaken, Not Stirred, With a Twist of Pixie Dust! A Food and Wine Trip!NEW! Pgs.75,76

He was in chat last night....we talked for a while and then he left to read the boards.

Good, I am glad he is still around on the boards.

Have you stayed at Port Orleans Riverside?

Since Charles likes the island theming, I think you should do a Caribbean cruise.

We have stayed at POR -- it was pretty, but probably my least favorite of the moderates. Not for any reason except for theming, though.

One day we will take a Caribbean cruise, I am sure.

I agree Jackie! :rotfl2:

Yes, Jackie, I too, agree!

:lmao: Y'all are too funny!

Yay! You have arrived and Charles went potty :rotfl2: ...time for the magic to start!!!!!!

:lmao: Yep, we have all had plenty of restroom breaks by now! Time to do something else.

Yayyy you made it to Disney!! :yay:

That's funny how much you had to stop for Charles to use the bathroom LOL Chris was the SAME way when we were in WDW, using the bathroom every 5 mins. Aren't women supposed to be the ones who do that?! :confused3

I thought women were the ones to do that, but I guess it's not true in our relationships.

Yes, enough said.:confused3

:lmao:

Can't wait to read about your adventures at F&W Festival. We're planning on going next year and I can't wait! We are going to stay at POR, but I was looking at CBR, too, so I can't wait to hear/see more about that, too!

Fall is now officially my favorite time to visit WDW -- between MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival, there is so much to do. You will enjoy POR, but CBR was beautiful and relaxing.

I have to agree with you -- I think it is the time of year that makes DH happiest too, you know... LOBSTER ROLLS... :rotfl: You know I just had to!!!!

The COSMO slushies, ah yes, like I said, KPossible was almost IMPOSSIBLE after two of those!!!! :rolleyes1

Hello! I'm coming out of hiding this time! I read your last report but found it when you were over half way through, so I didn't post. Can't wait to read all about this trip!

BTW, you definitely have teacher bladder. I used to teach third grade before I quit to stay home with my DD. I could hold it forever back then b/c I had no choice! I didn't have an assistant, so I wouldn't go from 7:30 until 1:00! What annoys me most on trips though is that we cannot seem to all go at the same time!!! Why is that so hard?:confused3 If we have to stop for one, then let's all go and at least try!! It drives me nuts when we stop and my DH says he doesn't need to go, and then 45 minutes later, he wants to stop! We are flying this time though so that won't be a problem!

:welcome: Yes, when we drive down in the summer with the kids, I always insist that everyone at least tries when we stop -- we usually manage to only stop three times on our way down, but not this time. :sad2:

Wow so many pages already and you've only just arrived :rotfl:

Can't wait to hear which plan you chose :goodvibes

Hi, Jo! I don't mind stretching the TR out since summer is a long time away.

We had fun with the plan we chose.

I am looking forward to see which of your plans you accomplished.

We enjoyed it -- I will tell you that much.

I don't know much about Disney Cruises, but Royal Caribbean has the best 7 day cruises. I went on one that stopped in St. Lucia, St. Thomas, St. Martin, Barbados, Antigua, and St. Croix. Think of it like a trip around the CBR, but instead of using Disney buses you get a cruise ship :rotfl2:

:lmao: Somehow I have a feeling the cruise ship would be a lot more fun than the bus. :rotfl:

Wow! I go away for a couple days and you're up to page 9!
I'm excited to read your TR! I don't know much about the F&W festival, so I'm thinking I'll learn and want to go!

I am now an official convert to the Food and Wine Festival!

Hi Jackie,
Yup, she is very glad.:thumbsup2
How are Chelsea and Connor?

Well, Connor has been fighting some sort of yuckiness all weekend, but it did not keep him from going to see the Toy Story double feature today with us. I think he is going to stay home tomorrow though -- no use spreading those germs to everyone else.

Hi! :wave2:

I'm here! And I'm still laughing about the acorn sized bladder. Although, living in a glass house, I should not cast stones. I am the same way. I do admit, though, for long rides, whether in a plane/car, I try not to drink a lot so we don't have to stop as often. :lmao:

Hi, TK! Laugh away -- I always try to look at things in a humorous way.

OMG, that is too funny about how many stops Charles needed you to make! :rotfl2:

Denise

It is funny in retrospect -- at the time, I was convinced we would NEVER make it to Disney.

I am right there with your DH -- I really liked those lobster rolls! :thumbsup2

I was thinking Friday night, that I am pretty sure I would be happy with a Cosmo slushie every weekend.

I need another Disney story from you, is it almost time for an update?
I hope Connor gets to feeling better soon....

Sadly, I have to go to work today :(, but I did take some pictures yesterday when we went to see Toy Story 3D -- I am going to do a mini-update this evening about that. Even though Connor wasn't feeling well, he insisted he was fine to go to the movies -- sometimes I think my Disney brainwashing has been too effective.

Don't you just hate writing Monday on the board?
I quite like it when I am writing Friday.

This week, I will be happy enough writing Thursday, because the kids don't come Friday. We have meetings and we're hoping to get some time in our rooms. Whatever we do, though, I'll just have my mind on the girls' arrival in the afternoon to whisk me away! :yay:

I'm looking forward to Toy Story pictures. You can put up all you want this week, but starting Friday, I'm gonna need you to sloooooow it down for a few days...until we get back! I don't want to miss anything! :)

My first trip I drove down I-4, yowsa! My second trip I went in the back way, sooooo much better. Zero cars! I was hoping that I hadn't taken a wrong turn and gotten into a place where I could see Disney but I "couldn't get there from here." :sad2: :lmao:

yay!!! i finally made my way over here. will be back later to catch up - just wanted to sub. :)

That is too funny - we went to Toy Story 3D as well yesterday! :thumbsup2 I love those movies - I laughed out loud so much!

Yeah, an update! LOL! You may want to take Charles water away next time! LOL!

You are so much more patient than me with the potty stops. I'd be outside the bathroom door tapping my toe constantly. :lmao:

I was seriously hoping that you were off today and you were going to grace us with an update!!!!! Oh well, I will be happy to settle with a 3D Toy Story update! I bet the 3D version was super cool!

I think I would go crazy with all the stops. I don't blame Charles for bringing his own pillow though. If I lived close enough to drive my pillow would make the trip also. Can't wait to see what Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C are along with what country you were in.

I some how missed your start.
7 potty breaks? Wow. At least you finally. My hat goes off to you for not losing it. Checking in I'm trying very hard not to lose it when the Magic kingdom is waiting and the CM can't find my resort ressie.
Hope Connor is feeling better!:lovestruc

Aww Jackie...that's an awful lot of rest stops...:confused3

but I do have to say...I am feeling just a little sorry for Charles...I mean he can't help it...can he?...:confused3

Hoping Connor is on the mend...:goodvibes

Yay, you started! That many breaks would have driven me nuts, too, but I am so impatient anyway. Can't wait hear what happens next!:goodvibes

Oh man I can sympathize with the potty break frustration; we used to drive down every year from Maine! :headache: When our DD was in diapers it was fine, but the first trip down after she was potty trained, we had to stop so many times I thought it was going to add an extra day to our trip. We've flown ever since!!

I'm enjoying your report and pictures!!! :thumbsup2
