Uh oh... I hope that isn't because he spent more time there than you?![]()
Define "spending more time"...actually, I won't keep you in too much suspense -- Charles did MUCH better this time.
Bladder the size of an acorn.Still cracks me up and it's the 2nd time I've heard it now.
Poor Charles. Me thinks for the summer trip there will be no liquids and give him a benadryl before you leave (but none once you're there
). The space diaper ain't a bad idea either.
I'm excited to hear more about CBR!![]()
No liquids, benedryl, and a space diaper all sound like nice additions to Charles' trip bag!

More about CBR coming soon...

Substitute his regular diet coke with caffeine free and see if that helps! I'm usually not too bad on long car trips but caffeine makes my bladder go insane.![]()
I didn't even think about caffeine being a diuretic -- I am sure that was part of the problem! I like the caffeine free idea!
Totally true. A Urologist first told me that and I've found it rings true for me. Of course sometimes you have to have some caffeine to keep you awake while driving and then I make sure I have some solid food with it. It helps counteract it a bit. But once I tried a Red Bull to stay away on a drive. It was awful. I felt like I had spiders all over my skin and my bladder went into convulsions for days.![]()
Ughhh...Red Bulls whack me out -- I can't drink those highly caffeinated drinks.

Oh, goodness - I'm a bit worried about this on our next trip. It's the first time we'll be driving (from Indy - ticketing five people just gets so darned expensive!), and with three of them plus my DH I'm worried about the number of stops we'll have to make. Me, I have Teacher Bladder - I can go until lunch, and then until 3:30, without having to worry about it! Well, I'm ok until the evening. Then I have to go about every 45 minutes!!!But by then we'll be stopped. Can't wait to hear about CBR! I'm glad to hear that you liked it.

What's your favorite Moderate? Did you like CBR better than POR?
My favorite moderate is still Port Orleans French Quarter, but I think if I were to ask Charles he would say Caribbean Beach Resort. He likes that island theming.
Jackie, I was excited that I might be able to use my daughters as an excuse to stop for breaks. Unfortunately , or fortunately depending on how you look at it, they only need to go two or three times a day. I do tend to drink nearly a gallon of water a day, though. We will make our first drive to Disney in June from PA. Hopefully, I will be too anxious to get there and won't have to stop so frequently! I teach high school, so I didn't have to transition to a teacher's bladder. (I can leave the room in the even that I need to or go in between classes.)
Bless you for not leaving anyone out and responding to each of us.Can't wait to hear more!
I have a feeling that your excitement level will be sky high! I will say that Charles was in and out pretty quickly each time.
Oh, I love reading everyone's comments and responding to them -- that's a huge part of the fun of writing a TR to me!
