You hurt my ears when you say testing. We've just finished Week One of Round Two of Running Records and DIBELS. Busy work for the masses while we test one-on-one.
Keeping second-graders in their seats and occupied for endless hours is such fun.
'He's throwing crayons.'
'Her elbow is on my paper.'
'He snotted on me.'
'She's copying.'
Usually the concern of one of the lowest students in the class, who I can assure you no one is copying from!!!
Oh yeah, very fun stuff.
Week Two is coming up. Then we can get in a little instruction for the few wild days just before the holidays. You know how
little it will be, too, the partial week before Christmas break.
Yeah, those people who insist on all this testing really know what they're doing.
It is helping sooo much!
NOT.
Maybe I should get some real elves to come and monitor kids while I am testing.
