Shaken, Not Stirred, With a Twist of Pixie Dust! A Food and Wine Trip!NEW! Pgs.75,76

Well, Haddon and Ingrid arrived Monday night. They are always worn out from traveling all the way from the North Pole, so they just collapsed on the kitchen table. The kids were so happy to see them again.

Tuesday night, they were still pretty tired, so they played cards with a pack of Santa cards they brought.

Wednesday night, they got into some Christmas M&Ms and spelled their names out. Ingrid apparently was hungry and could not help eating a piece of her D. Haddon was able to control his urges much better.

Thursday night, they decided to try bungee jumping off the fireplace mantel using my new Believe sign ($5 at Walmart ;)) as an anchor. Once down, they weren't really sure how to get back up.

Last night they tried their hands at a bit of Christmas decorating of their own. They had a wreath and all the decorations for it set up on one of the playroom chairs. Clearly they got distracted and ended up sticking bows on each other. The kids will have to help them finish it.

Oh, the snow is already gone. It was just enough to enjoy watching fall while I had morning coffee. Yeah, traffic is going to be C-R-A-Z-Y today in Atlanta.

Cookie making tomorrow and Chelsea and Connor are making pizza for their Sunday night dinner.

19 more days of Haddon and Ingrid fun to come!

Our snow is already gone -- just enough to make us wish we had more.

Your elves could easily find things to do for the next two weeks. :rolleyes1

The playing cards came from Walmart -- they were $1 and they also had snowmen and penguins. If you can't find them, let me know. I can get some for you.

Thanks! I love our Christmas decorations -- the house always looks so empty in January after we pack them all up.

Oh my gosh Jackie! I was :lmao: with Ingrid and Haddon and their antics! You really need to keep an eye on them! I liked the half eaten M&M and the bungee jumping! They are so mischievous! :santa: I wonder what they will think of Prep and Landing :confused3
I checked out the gift cards too you mighty enabler and I NEED some
with money on them of course

Tracy

I just saw those playing cards in Walmart today! what a cute idea! My lads are almost grown, so they don't get into that anymore (and I think they have their father's bah-humbug attitude anyway!).

I love your elf updates! I'd be out of ideas after the first week.

I have a feeling that Haddon and Ingrid are very excited about Prep and Landing. ;)

Aren't those gift cards just too cool?

OHHHH, and thanks for the gift card enabling....
Shocker thanks you too!

You're welcome, Shocker. :lmao:

My nephew has adopted that attitude as well -- do they think it makes them more macho? :confused3

It is a stretch sometimes, I can promise you. Those are the nights when it is kinda lame.

Thank you! Walmart here I come! :drive:

Were you able to find them there?

Thanks! We have fun with them!

Thanks! Did you enjoy our snowflakes this morning?

I love what the Elves are doing, so cute :thumbsup2

Thank you! Haddon and Ingrid definitely like to live it up when they come to visit. ;)

Ohhh and I forgot to mention I love your "Believe" sign on your mantle. Reminds me of The Polar Express. :goodvibes Love that movie!

Tracy

What a crazy couple of elves you've got!:rotfl: Love it. I really hope that our elf in training who, its rumored, is coming early next week, is better behaved, but somehow I doubt it.;)

I really want your Eloise. We've got one but not with a cute Santa hat to go with the movie. Where did you get her?

Thank you! I found it last weekend when I was grocery shopping (along with the peppermint ice cream sandwiches and The Princess and the Frog soundtrack that I mentioned on Facebook ;)).

Do you know I have never seen The Polar Express??? The kids always watch it in school.

Oh, I hope you will come over here and share your elf's adventures!!! :goodvibes

I really want your Eloise. We've got one but not with a cute Santa hat to go with the movie. Where did you get her?

My mom found the basic Eloise somewhere, and then she made the Santa hat and jingle bells for her. We :lovestruc Eloise!!! She always gets to sit on the mantle at Christmastime.

Not looking at the designs...would be too tempting. Although, I am taking a trip soon....hmmmm

Those elves get themselves into a lot during the night.....;)

We might have to get an elf for next Christmas. We have friends who say he is keeping an eye out for Santa. The behavior in my house of late needs some intervention...
