I see some sexy costumes at Spirit when I go there but I don’t know anyone who actually dresses sexy on Halloween. Clearly I’m not invited to the right parties and I must be trick or treating on the wrong streets. Lol.

Because it just so empowering when we woman dress sexy and use our bodies to show everyone just how strong we are. I mean what else do you expect us to do?

I wouldn't say ALL costumes. Granted they do seem to make a sexy variant for anything. I'm not sure the Mandalorian or Baby Yoda received that treatment.

Or Snoopy. Sexy Snoopy? I just googled and there IS a Sexy Charlie Brown costume. Good Grief!

Edited to add: Talking about adult costumes.... sexy geared towards children is 100% wrong.

Yes, perhaps the majority of costumes for sale are sexy. Why? Because it sells. Why? Because people like to wear it. Stores are in business to make money, they sell what people like.

However...

Being half naked does not equal bad/less morals.

Dressing sexy does not equal bad/less morals.

Dressing sexy does not equal wanting sex.

Dressing sexy does not equal trying to attract another person.

Perhaps dressing sexy makes ME feel happy. Would I wear it to an inappropriate venue, such as a family friendly event? Of course not. THAT might be an issue of morals, but more like not having good judgement.

There has to be someone buying these costumes or else they wouldn't be in the stores year after year. That's not to say I don't wonder exactly who the sparkly minion bustier appeals to, or the sexy pink bunny from A Christmas Story, or my absolute favorite sexy Sheriff Rick Grimes from the Walking Dead.

The Try Guys have made videos each year for Halloween on sexy costumes. They just released this years with sexy video game characters. There is so much you do not want to see. From Pikachu to Bert & Ernie... It's like rule 34, if it exists than there is an R-rated version of it on the internet.

I actually like a sexy outfit. I just wish I could pull it off. I try it on, look in the mirror and laugh my head off.

So, this is the real purpose of the post.
You weren't really asking why sexy versions of random items exist. You were really just looking for an opportunity to shame women who may choose to wear them and get everyone to join in with you.

As to your other point, I have never worn a sexy costume in my life, nor has anyone else that I know so it can't be that difficult to find a costume that's not sexy if the majority of people do.

My problem is that they make the sexy costumes for 6 year olds.

I have never seen "sexy" costumes for children. They are all in adult/women's sizes.
