Yes, those glasses were very popular back then. I am so very sorry for your loss Trish...
i have to look up that diet plan today.. ya know since i am HOME with the kids!! everyone is SO MAD to be home.. It's Catholic schools week where they can wear silly outfits and have a great time Today was PJ day.. they are not happy to miss this!!!
Bummer they had to miss out on the fun...
So, with all that planning - did you look up Primal/Paleo?
sooooooo tell us more about this bag your creating???
You KNOW I cannot divulge that information - especially to you.
and YES i like when my friends write reports!!!
Just popping up to say HI! I am still reading your posts...just haven't commented all that much. LOVED seeing the photos of your mom on here and FB.
No worries - I know we are all busy. I am glad you enjoyed them.
I actually hopped on the scales this morning...and I may or may not have shed a few pounds since you and I started chatting about workout videos and dieting a few months ago...
Yay!!!! SOOOO proud of you!!!!
Thank you for being a wonderful encouragment and inspiration!
It's funny - I get that a lot... I just keep doing whatever it is that I do... I am glad that I can encourage others.
I hope the weather in your part of the world gets better soon.
Here we haven't had much snowfall so far this year. In January so far we have got only 3,5mm of snow (normally we have 95mm of snow in January). So a new weather record in Tromsø is about to be set. We have to go back all the way to 1931 (with 22mm) to find so little snowfall in January.
I hope you have a great day in the sewing room. I can't wait to see your next bag.
Thanks! WOW - that is a huge record, what a difference to last year for you! I also remember those pictures you posted... I bet it's kind of nice though. I know we had a very small snow year in 2011/2012 and it was a nice break from "winter".
I hope you had/have a wonderful day too.
D~, this reminded me of you. I thought you might want to share it with your girls.

Awwww crap Lois... I went and read it... Tears streaming down my face... but it was a good read and so perfectly said. I plan to send it to the girls to read.
Hi, D. Yes, I know you feel my pain...it's just never-ending. It's either snowing or frigid. And we've just been informed our office WILL be open tomorrow. They could have at least told us to wear jeans.
Hope your car starts and that Josh has safe travels with work.
Bummer - I wish you could wear jeans... That would make it all better.
Stay warm today Kathy... and thank you - Josh did have a safe trip to work and home again.
Ugh! Just got the phone call from our school district that school is closed AGAIN tomorrow!! I hope you have a fun day in your sewing room!! I think it's a good day to get some knitting done!! Stay warm!!
Yup - we were closed today too... The girls have had their last day of finals postponed for 3 days now... Both of them just want to get it over with.
Hey D - trying to catch up on everything on your thread and hide from my boss - I was gone all weekend and didn't have time to get on the computer. I went to help my son pack up for yet another move. You will find out that your kiddos move ALOT when in college. They keep finding different roommates and cheaper places. But, at least it gives me an excuse to visit him.
Hahaha about hiding from your boss...
Oh G.R.E.A.T. - did I mention that I DESPISE/HATE/DETEST moving? LOL I'll move them once - maybe...
I loved the photos of your Mom, and you sharing her with us. We always carry around so much of our childhood "baggage" with us; it is our choice what to do with that baggage, make us stronger or let us make excuses. You, my lady, are much stronger and wiser, and its beautiful how your Grandma is helping keep your Mom alive and memories strong. No wonder your are so close to your Dad. That is beautiful how close your girls and Dad are. Its a win/win for both.
Thank you... You always say such nice things... My Dad is a pretty special guy and I am so happy that his life has changed so drastically for the better in these last couple months.
Every time I watch the news and see your temps I think "I sure hope D and her family don't have to get out". Ya'll keep safe out there. I am sure your girls' school keeps lots of weather days at the end of the year open for makeup. We keep having a roller coaster of icy/cold and then warm. That's Texas for you.
LOL Yah - we didn't leave the house at all yesterday. Today, I do though. Sigh. I'd take Texas weather any day. LOL
I wish I could think of a theme for your bags. I just love all of them. The Cheshire cat and Evil Stepsisters have been my favorites. Whatever you come up with will be fabulous.
Thanks! Suzi gave me a GREAT idea this morning, which I may run with!
Stay warm and safe; have a beautiful week. Saying prayers for you and your family and your Dad.
Thanks Carol - the same to you.
Maybe I missed it...and I am seriously too lazy and tired to go back through and read ...
But what is the angry eyes referring to?
Nini
Hahaha... The Angry eyes are referring to me... LOL The official name is "I'm packing extra shoes and your angry eyes, just in case"... Teen girls = more shoes than we care to admit... and Teen girls = lots of angry momma/teen eyes. LOL I thought it worked?

I had a great day yesterday...
I worked most of the day in my sewing room, I did finsih last week's custom order. LOVE IT! I will have pictures posted sometime today... Probably very soon.
Then, my new book came... The Primal Blueprint... So, I sat in my recliner for a couple hours yesterday afternoon and dove straight into it. It's a great book... Makes so much sence!
Today, I will be starting this weeks' custom order. After lunch - I have to take Alli into the cities for a dermatologist appointment... Grrr... On one of the coldest days of the year... but I've rescheduled this appt twice now... So I need to buck up and go.
Since Oopsi posted her new Disney jammies in her PTR (you must go look, they are soooo cute) - I thought I would post mine too... Found them at Target last week... They are a Large... I haven't tried them on yet - and I don't think they will fit... That shirt looks REALLY SMALL! But I purchased it mostly for the shirt... I have TONS of cute Disney jammie bottoms, but no shirts... Speaking of Jammie bottoms... A few of those bottoms need to be drastically altered - they are waaaay too big for me now... So that's on the list of "must dos" in the near future...

Anyways... Here's my new jammies:
OK - best get on with my day... I need to get a lot accomplished on this week's bag, so I can leave this afternoon.
I hope you all have a wonderful day!!! Sending prayers out to all in need. I'd love some updates if you have the time... Tess, how is Jim doing? Lois, how is Jennifer doing?
