Hello from the Magic... Can't verify any of the others you asked about, but can confirm that Brent is the cruise director on our cruise. Hope this helps!

Well, there's one down.....anyone know about anyone else?

In our post stay hotel in Barcelona...

The cruise was wonderful. Well until the last night...

At 3:30 this morning I hear *THUNK*. My 11 year old sister some how fell out of the top bunk in our room and fractured her wrist. It was handled well but none of us got back to sleep afterwards or anything.

She slept in the bed for 11 nights... you would think she could have held on for 4 more hours haha

Cmdbuddy - sorry to hear of your sister's broken wrist! Hope she is doing better.

Just wanted to post a quick note to say the the Caramico Family has arrived home safely and very happy! We had an amazing time on this 070707 Magical Med Cruise, which was made even MORE SPECIAL by all the Disboarder's that we met and made friends with on board! It was so nice to see so many familiar faces and smiles of new friends while on board, and on the excursions. We were blessed with great weather and were very well taken care of by all of the DCL CM's while on board!

Will try to post a trip report soon - hope everyone arrived home safely!

Take care,
Sherri

We echo shercara's thoughts.

Fun and educational!

Thanks to everybody who made this a special trip -our best vacation ever - usual great service, beautiful sights to see, and lots of nice people! :cool1:

It was so great meeting so many of you at our Dismeet and elsewhere onboard.

We all had a wonderful vacation and the post dcl depression is setting in for us. We keep wondering who is in "our stateroom" and sitting at "our table."

We had a 2:15 flight out of Barcelona with Skibum and family and several others from the cruise (can spot those kids club bracelets anywhere!)We ended up with only about 10 minutes to spare between our flight from Barcelona and out of Heathrow. We had a good flight and were home by midnight. Fortunately for us our baggage was last on and first off before the conveyer belt broke. We were lucky enough to see Dad of Lost Boys and his family on the plane and even caught up again at the McDonalds outside of Dulles airport.

I look forward to reading trip reviews/reports and seeing anyone's pictures.

Hello all from DLP... Glad to see you made it home safe and sound Danielle, Sherri and Skibum. Sorry to hear about your sister's wrist Cmdbuddy. Anyhow ... having fun here at Disneyland Paris. Not quite the same as WDW but fun. Crush's Coaster is awesome, and my new favourite coaster. I'm just sad that I won't be able to go on it again. I hope they bring it to WDW! So far, I have run into Vance and Cathy and Callie (APinCA) at DLP and Dylcal (Sherri and Dylan) at our hotel. They are in the room next door to us! Go figure. We had a good laugh at that one! Take care all! We'll be heading home in 2 days.

Thanks for making the cruise extra special for Kirstyn and I. Denise, Jimmy, Janet and Kenny, thank you for being such great dinner mates. Let's see 13 months until my next cruise!!! Take care!

Hi MJ, It's great to hear that you and Kirstyn are having a great time at DLP. We were watching with envy the planes taking off for Paris. We'll get there one day! Thank you again for the 7/7/07 bracelets you had made for everyone. We caught up on your blog. It's great to hear/see everyone else's perspective of the trip. I'm happy everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
It will be great catching up with you again on the Panama Canal repo. Stay in touch!

If anyone did not get a picture of our Dismeet with Captain Tom, please PM me and I'd be happy to send a digital copy. I ended up with over 3,000 pictures so if anyone forgot to take a picture of any angle of the ship or any of the restaurants, etc. I probably have it.

ApinCA thank you again for the great folder to keep our navigators and other memorabilia inside. It's amazing the amount of stuff I ended up collecting for our scrapbook of the trip.

Dadoflosboys, thank you again for the Gettysburg magnets.

Dylcal thanks again for the cruise magnets.

I also wanted to thank the dis friend for the pirate beard for my son and the pirate jibbits (I'm sorry I forgot your screen name).

Hi Hanover - that was me with the pirate beard and jibbets ( didn't know that name at first - I just thought they were buttons for your crocs!) Did you and your son hand out the pirate flags and ducks? If so - thanks to you too!
If not - thanks to who ever did!

We had a great time and would also like to thank MJ for the bracelts - (so sweet!) and APinCA - Vance and Kathy for the great folder, Sheryl - Dylcal for the Magnet - John aka Dad of Lost Boys for the Gettysburg magnet - also, who gave us the Pirates in the Med magnet?? Thanks to you too!

We had an awesome time and enjoyed meeting everyone. We especially enjoyed making new friends, having dinner with and touring with Deb T and her family ( Jeff, Emily and Craig ) as well as meeting, touring with and getting to know Denise, Jimmy and Eleni too!

Hanover, I thought my close to 1000 pics was alot! I will be uploading them to shutterfly this weekend and will post try to post the link. If you upload any of your 3000 to any site like that, I would love to take a look!

Take care,
Sherri:goodvibes

Hi,

We too are suffering from the post-cruise blues. I'd like to add my thanks to everyone. The bracelets, folder, pirate flags, magnets, and name tags all added to the magic of the cruise. You all are great!

Thanks for arranging the meetings. It was nice to put faces to names.

Hope everyone has a safe and uneventful trip home.

Hi Sherri,

Thanks again for the goodies. Yes, it was my boys passing out the flags and duckies.

I've got the pictures on our lap top so I will see if I can get them uploaded into another account for viewing.

I hope everyone still in Europe are having a great time and have safe flights home.

we too had a magical experience on the 070707 Mediterranean cruise - started out rocky since our flight out from Newark was delayed by 3 hours so we missed our connection in Frankfurt and had to sit around the airport from 9 am til 4 pm - made it to the ship at 8pm! Lost day there but the remaider of the trip was fantastic - made lots of friends and it was great to meet the Disboarders on board - hope to sail together again!

Here are a couple of photos from our Dismeet and a couple of the ship (the Magic from the airplane when we first arrived in Barcelona and one of the Magic in Villefranche)

EPCOT_VA and family are back in VA (Virginia)! :thumbsup2

We had a "magical" time and enjoyed meeting our fellow Disboarders!

After we disembarked, we spent the day touring Barcelona. While we were at the Sagrada Familia, we saw a Disney Cruise Shore Excursion bus. Of course, it was full of people just starting their cruise! :guilty: I joked with my daughters that we could just blend in with the crowd, get on the bus and voila, we're back on the cruise! :cloud9: It was my seven year old that pointed out that it couldn't be that easy!

This was our first cruise ever. Now that it is over, we wish we could start again knowing what we know now. We might have done a couple of things different, but it was a GREAT trip as it was.

(I could have skipped going into Olbia though) :rolleyes1

Take care!

I have to say Disney did it....they put all these families together for 11 nights and all these families became one:grouphug: .....i met so many different ppl and made so many friends.....the first day was lost in the airport :headache: but i met 3 great families and even though the one had it rougher then all of us we stuck together and made the most of the time we spent together....after that it was all up hill.....the first day at sea i thought i would never meet anyone but i was wrong...i made a great number of friends and i never want to lose communication from any of them....yes being a teenager i had to deal with a lot and i mean a lot of drama but we all got over it:hippie: i loved the sights and being in Europe but out of this whole cruise i can never forget any of the people i met.....so i have to say to everyone what a trip and thank you for making it even more "Magical" then disney made it to be...this hill never stopped it kept going and going and extented further then any mountain.

MJGirl; I see that you found the departure lounge at Barcelona. :)

It was good to meet all of you. Again sorry we missed the dismeet but our DS filled us in on the details.

Hopefully we will see some if not all in the very near future!

Well I am home and finally caught up on the Laundry!!! Now I just have to wait for the bills to come in!! It was great meeting all of you! Thanks for all the wonderful gifts and memories!!! Hope to see you soon -- perhaps another cruise??

Sheryl

We too have made it home....not without delays in NY and missing flights in Dallas. But this time they put us in 1st class on the way to California. That was nice, we all just slept the rest of the way home. All our suitcases made it home. No overage on weight. I could have bought more!:rotfl2:
Sad thing we had to go to work today.:sad2: but how else do we pay for such a great trip?
We had a wonderful trip and are so lucky to have so many new friends!
Eleni woke up this morning and was sad because she couldn't go to Topsiders!
Thanks for posting the pictures of the disboard meet. I didn't have my camera with me.:confused3 don't know why.
MJ, wish we were going on the next cruise with you...:guilty:
ditto to what MJ said....thanks to all for everything....
This was our 5th cruise and I must say the best yet. I'm so glad we all "talked" before the cruise on line. It felt like we had friends already.:cool1:
keep in touch....till we sail again......

Hello everyone,
What a fabulous trip. I would have to say this was our favorite so far. Thank you to everyone with the gifts, how thoughtful to think of all that pre-trip, I was so overwhelmed before we left for the cruise. The folder from APinCA was so helpful I will definitely use it on future trips, thank you for that.

This was our first Disney Cruise and I have to say that it was far beyond my expectations, it is amazing how 2,000 or however many people were on the ship seemed to get along and blend so nicely, everyone was very friendly on our sea days and it didn't ever seem like there were that many people on the ship. Things seem to run very smoothly, even the laundry room was available when I went to use it, who would have thought.

We are going on the Mexican Riviera and I can't wait to actually use the ship. We were so busy with the ports that we didn't really do much on the ship. we always made it to the ship just before all aboard. We only went to 2 shows, we were so tired and had late dinner, who can get to a show by 6:30? Not us!!!

So anyway, I was truly impressed and can't stop thinking about our trip and am working on my albums, I must have over 1000 pictures. On that note I wanted to just put this out in case anyone could be helpful. While we were in the port of Civitivecchia, we were on the first shuttle bus and I left my camera on the bus (not too smart). When I went to get it out of my backpack it wasn't there, I emptied my backpack on the bus because I had a water leak, I thought I put everything back in but I guess I didn't. When we got back to the ship I checked my room thinking maybe I just left it in the room. No, it was not there so I am pretty sure I left it on the shuttle. Anyone see or here of anyone finding a camera, as of late no one has turned it in. The bummer is that the shuttle busses were going to all the ships in port that day and there were 5 ships, I am trying the other ships guest services to see if one of their guest turned it in to their ship. Anyway, I don't care about the camera, I just ordered a new one today, but I would love to have my SD Card with my pictures on it. Unfortunately I did not have my name or address on my camera, I will definitely do that with the new one. I lost 2 days of pictures (Olbia and Naples - Amalfi Coast) and didn't have a camera for Rome, however, I was with 3 other couples and they will share their pictures with me. I did also have a backup camera in my room. Anyway enough of that. I didn't let it spoil my trip.

So thanks to my family and friends who made this trip so fun, to Disney staff and the other guest, this truly was a magical trip.
Kay
