Wow, thanks for the photos! I still haven't sorted mine out (although they are all finally downloaded). I don't think I'll ever turn the camera on its side again; it took forever to turn the pictures around!

Just picked up my dsil from her Princess Med Cruise (Venice to Barcelona). She'll probably have her photos printed and in albums before me. I've been using my tote bag (thank you again John ) a lot recently. It is a wonderful reminder of our vacation.

Did everyone see the posts about the rumors for 2009 and 2010 cruises? Alaska and maybe Hong Kong.... Also Disney is building a hotel/time share in Hawaii at Ko Olina! Also read a rumor that DCL may be thinking about docking near Ko Olina... So many rumors...what is true
Can't wait to hear what the 2009 "special" cruise will be. We will be on it for sure. Alaska would be nice or even back to Europe. Hawaii.... maybe just to see if people would really want that for one of the new ships being built?
I'm ready for another cruise....anyone else ready?

Hi Denise ... I'm ready ... only 10 months to go! I opted for the triple points bonus with DVC, so I've added on the BackStage Magic ABD. I can't wait to see all the behind the Scene stuff!

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great holiday season and a happy new year!

Jimmy is looking to complete his set of the Castaway Club pins that repeat cruisers received on the Magic. Repeaters were given a Castaway Club laynard with two pins, one to keep and one to trade. We have heard that there were 10 color combos! The lounges are light blue, dark blue, pink, dark green and medium blue. Minnie has different color bows and suit and Micky also has differnt color suits.

The ones we have are:
Light blue lounge, pink bow
medium blue lounge, green bow
dark blue lounge, yellow bow
dark blue lounge, orange bow
pink lounge, hot pink bow
dark green lounge, navy bow

we are missing 4 of the other color combos are willing to trade our extras. Our extras are:
dark blue lounge, orange bow
pink lounge, hot pink bow
dark green lounge, navy bow

Let me know if you have any colors not listed and may want to trade. We have no idea what the colors are of the missing ones.....

We were at WDW last week and went on the Everest ride. WOW it was great....

Hello to anybody that still checks this board...

I have been working on the video from the cruise last July. (Yes, months later) It has all come rushing back to me and I wish I could take my family back in time and do it all over again.

Does anybody have a picture of the coach buses that took us from the airport to the ship on 07/07/2007? If so, I would like to get a copy for a slideshow that I am putting together. Thanks in advance.

We are planning our next 2 years worth of vacations. This coming December its back to Florida for a week at Old Key West in the Grand Villa with our extended family. Next year, we'll probably hit WDW in the summer and back to the Disney Magic on 10/24/2009. That will put us on the ship for my daughters' birthdays (both of them). I am planning to request the same cabin again.

I hope there is still someone out there to read this.

We are still out here, and still talking about our wonderful cruise. Just yesterday we said if Disney offers the Med again we should go.
We went to the World over New Years without daughter #1 - she went to London with her high school band and marched in the London New Years Parade. She had a great experience!
Planning on cruising right before Thanksgiving, and maybe May or September.
Lots of snow here, with more coming (it is snowing again right now).

We are waiting for the new cruise routes. So, I don't have a Disney cruise booked. The Caribbean and Mexican Rivieria don't excite us after the Med cruise. Who can blame us? So, I wish those boats would hurry up and get built. We are going to WDW twice in the next year, though...

Hey guys,

I'm glad to hear everyone is doing well. We don't have any snow right now, but it's flurrying off and on and extremely windy.

We are doing great. Our youngest son is keeping us busy with wrestling up to 5 times a week. Baseball season starts at the end of the month for both Keegan and Brennan so there's no relaxation in sight! Except for a quick Disney getaway in April when they have a 4 day weekend. We are enjoying belonging to DVC, which we joined on the Med cruise.

We'd also love to go back to the Med. We are really interested in seeing where the new ships will be going.

I'm not sure if this is the kind of picture you were looking for, but it's the only one I've got of the transfer busses. I took it as they dropped us off for the return trip home. You could probably photoshop or crop my DH from the front of the bus.

Nobody can tell if its the return to the airport or heading for the ship.

When we arrived at the airport, we had a little drama finding our way to our bags and then hooking up with the cruise folks. As a result, I didn't take any pictures until we got to the ship. My slideshow just had a big gap. We were in London and boom we're on the ship. So, I'm trying to throw in a couple of travelling pictures to have a transition.

I am pleasantly surprised that four of you responded so quickly. The board looked as if activity had dried up mostly after last August.

Glad to hear an update from everyone. I know MJGirl and Hanover became DVC members on the cruise. You guys will love it for years to come. We go back to 1993, and never had a single vacation point go unused. No matter how many points you have, there always seems to be a need for more.

Hi ... I'm booked on the EB repo in Aug 08. I can't believe it is 6 months away. We are also booked on the Eastern with St. Croix on October 10/09. I'm trying out a verandah for the first time. October 10 is our Thanksgiving, so less days of work to miss.

You are welcome! We were really preoccupied after both DH and I nearly got pickpocketed leaving the airport through the rotating doors to the transfer busses so I never got a picture then (We knew about the pickpockets and left our back pack's outside zippers empty or we'd have really gotten pickpocketed). Funny thing is, I took a picture of the large crowd waiting in the airport and the Mickey hands in the crowd from the CM's. The pickpocket couple were in the picture too!

We'll also be at WDW in December....we are flying down on the 5th and doing a 4 day cruise Dec 7-11 and then a few days at the parks until the 14th. DS10's friend's family just booked the cruise yesterday.

We went to the VWL this past November/December and a 7 day Eastern. We love the parks that time of year. We were lucky enough to be staying at AKV the same time as MJGirl and her daugter and met up for dinner. We are really loving DVC and won't be wasting any points either!! We went to the Beach Club last October for a quick get away for MNSSHP. We bought AP's and are loving those too! I just wish SouthWest would come out with some better ding rates. We flew for $34 each way in October and $64 in December and can't get below $89 for April. I booked 2 weeks ago at $89 and they are up to $118 now. I'm still hoping to get a ding rate and credit. We are hoping to do Disneyland for a week in the summer of 2009. We are doing a 7 day Eastern/St Croix in December 2009 with DH's extended family.

Was the 7 day Eastern cruise that you took in December on the Magic? How was the weather / temps for that time of year? We were thinking on our planned cruise in Oct 2009 to request our same cabin as we had in the Med. With DVC, our girls like to think they have a home in WDW. If we end up cruising more on the Magic in the same cabin, they will think they have a home onboard the ship too.

I can't wait for the new ships to enter the fleet. It should really broaden their cruise destinations. It looks like the Magic will be back in the Caribbean during Summer 2009 instead of Europe or the West Coast. What month do they announce the "next year's" destinations?
