June is considered the rainly season in Central Florida. Since the end of May, we've had a lot of rain and thunderstorms.
Good morning, Js & Ks!
Sorry to be MIA so much, but recitals and real life have gotten in the way. Nothing is wrong, just overbooked and understaffed here at home.....
Is the iPad case just a "case"? I have a case that folds so the screen stands up, and that's the style I like. I would get it in a Dooney if they made that style.
The retro stuff on the UK site looks so cute! I love the retro, may have to go to DLR this weekend and search for another one of those out, and look for the LeSportsac bags!!!
Good morning back atcha!
Back to the courthouse I go.......
Wishing you all a great day! I shall be sitting in a jury box all day!![]()
So good so far..... How are you?
I'm packing to go stay at the Grand Californian for a couple nights, that's pretty fabulous!
Corinna, I hope it goes well and you're able to enjoy it like you thoughtare you able to share details when it's done?
I just have to figure out the dates. We want to finish our stay at Kidani in January because the points go up 5 points higher per night in Feb. At BLT the points are the same in Jan and Feb. We're doing four nights at each.
...no. surprises. yet.

Hi everyone. The family and I have been coming and staying a disney for years and years but we have never stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge. It has always been way out of our budget. We are actually splitting our stay 3 nights in All-Star Music and 3 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I was wondering if anyone knew if they have an Animal Kingdom Lodge themed photo album in the gift shop. Anna
We just finished lunch at DTD, going back to the room to rest. That's what these two days are for. They replaced the Mission Tortilla Factory with a Ghirardelli's, so we'll go there later.
Just got back today! We checked in 5/31 and had a standard room but were upgraded to a "partial" savanna (not really sure what the partial part was!) on the Kudu Trail (room 2355) on the Sunset Savanna. It was a HAUL down there, but hey, it wasn't a parking lot! PLENTY of animals in the afternoon and evening (a little scarce in the AM).
Bus service was just OK. We had a heckuva time getting to AK of all places yesterday.
DD got to roast a marshmallow every time, mousekeeping was great and right on time every morning (DD's American Girl had the TV remote every time).
We didn't have time to eat at Boma or Jiko this trip, but at a few quick dinners at Mara. The roasted chicken was wonderful, but my chicken falafel was just ok.
A wonderful stay! No complaints!
Getting ready to book an AKL Pool View stay, 9/10/12 - 9/15/12! SUPER excited. I haven't stayed AKL, or Deluxe for that matter, in about a decade! It'll be DH's first time at AKL/Deluxe, and DD's first time PERIOD! I'm pretty darn excited!
