It has been so worth it though and I have not even got on the ship. We spent nearly 5 hours yesterday exploring the Queen Mary at Long Beach and then I spent the evening at Disneyland where I watched Fantasmic for the first time. Today we are planning to head to San Diego.

The Queen Mary can certainly make for an interesting say. If I'd known you were there I would've waved at you from the bluff when I was driving there yesterday!

Going July 8-14, staying in an Arusha view w/bunkbeds for the kids.

Very excited and nervous about the whole thing. Of course we want to make the most of the week.

One question is about a "day off". IS the pool area here a place the kids (9 & 13) will be excited about spending a day at?

Absolutely -- I just asked my DD, who is 9, and she said she loves it. We are going to spend the evening of our first night there at the pool, and I'm just going to run out for sandwiches for dinner. She doesn't even want to go to Mara. We don't do a whole lot of swimming at home, so it's a treat to spend more than 30 minutes at a pool. That's also a good day to do DTD. Enjoy your trip!

That is our plan exactly. Spend Wednesday at the pool and Fultons in DTD for dinner.
