That would be a solid piece of information. Remember that the New Fantasyland did not officially open until December but there were multiple media events, soft openings and AP previews prior to that. In fact, my darkest Disney memory was from October 2012, when we ran right past Fantasyland while in MK and I found out later at the hotel I missed the very first preview of the new Fantasyland, ever. I was pretty pissed when I read that in bed that night! Pretty sure that FP+ reservations won't be available until the official opening, but let's keep hoping!

Hhmmm...if it is the end of May now, I suppose I'll have to patiently wait until my next trip. But if they did a preview for resort guests for NF then maybe they will do one in early May for SDMT? One can only hope.

I called yesterday to see if they could shed any light on when it would be available for FP+, since we will be at WDW at the end if May. The CM said it was scheduled for "later this summer ". I sure hope she was misinformed, as everything I've been reading says sometime in May!

Omg I never opened up mde so quick. I thought fp had opened up......

I am starting to think that I need to have MDE opened to the FP page at all times so that I can be ready at a moment's notice to book!

I check multiple times a day on different devices... I'm almost glued to the MDE app. I hope my vacation isn't like this!! LoL

For some reason the iPhone MDE App won't show the mine train while it is showing up in the samsung App. This is why I haven't seen it listed under the wait times on my iPhone.

Just google Orlando Attractions Facebook and it's right there. Their most recent post.

What they received are the press preview passes good for April 30, May 1 and May 2.

This is what worries me: "But the wording of the invitation is very careful, never noting that this is a “grand opening” for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, instead calling it a “first look,” “preview,” and “dedication,” leaving the door open for the attraction to publicly debut sooner or later than during these dates."

We will be at WDW from May 13th to the 19th and will be so disappointed if this opens late May or June...

Oh for goodness sakes I wish they would announce the opening date at least they could announce it like this - If all goes as planned the new Mine Train will open */*/2014 ! I just want an idea so I can make plans for our up coming trip
