I am still in the process of catching up but I needed to say that Cleveland is really a neat place.

Sherry mentioned the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame(never been there) and The Flats(very good party place if my memory serves me correctly) So Cleveland is fine with me.

I also love the idea of Cedar Point. I love roller coasters. I know some you younger Ya Yas are not roller coaster people and definitely understand if that is not a great option.

Bonnie, did you mention Put In Bay. I vaguely remember an island that you take a ferry to that you can rent cabins. Also, aren't there some wineries up there?

OK, back to regularly scheduled DISing.

Just read Beth's ideas for a Ya Ya meet and love them too.

bfeller is sitting at her desk starring at her computer screen. She seems to be DISing alone. bfeller starts to feel lonely.

OK, is anyone out there?

Hello????????????? (bfeller is tapping on the screen)

Betty I'm here for a few minutes anyway.

Does no one want to celebrate with me?

Today has been great. Steve worked on my computer and I can now print. I graded papers for 4 hours. I went to grocery store and have dinner in the crock pot as we speak.(Beef Stew)

Allison is on her first date (I think) She went to a movie with a boy. His mom is driving and I am picking them up. They have been friends for a while but he just broke up with GF(I found this out after I said she could go, I thought a group was going)

Kids are going crazy studying for midterms and I am going crazy trying to get everything graded and ready for report cards. My health class has a test tomorrow and then they turn in their notebooks to be graded. Now you know why I am trying to get Language Arts grades together. Term ends this Friday.

Karen, how have you been feeling today?

Sure Beccy, I will celebrate with you. What are we celebrating?
bfeller runs to kitchen to whip up some bourbon slushies

I'm here too......

Patiently wading thru Ohio tourism stuff.....

Betty, when were you last in Cleveland? When I lived there during the 70s, nobody wanted to go down to the flats because it was so dirty and scummy. It was just a place to pass through on the Rapid on our way to and from work downtown. Has it been cleaned up and restored?

Morning all:)

How are we all this fine day???

All slept well I take it?

Have a good day all & don't do anything I wouldn't do:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hellllloooooooo Ya Ya's. We were at my extended family Christmas Celebration today! And that it is for the Holidays for this year for Debster and family! Now we can really focus on our upcoming trip. :teeth: :Pinkbounc .

Happy Birthday Sherry!!!!!!

Bourbon slushies???? Count me in please and thank you. DH is off for a movie night out with the boys, and DS will be off to bed in an hour, so I will be free to DIS all night!!!

Bourbon slushies??!!! Sounds intriguing!! I'm game! Now what are we celebrating, Beccy? Besides Sherry's birthday, that is.

Hi all! Sorry I wasn't around, I was watching the replay of the Fiesta Bowl today so I was kind of not around much.

Beccy, I am more than willing to celebrate with you!!!! It is such a HAPPY HAPPY DAY!!!!! :bounce: :bounce:

Hi Nutsy!

bourbon slushies never had one of those. I guess tis time I did.

wow Beth your really working!

I'm always ready to celebrate! What are celebrating? Oooh boy! The bourbon slushies are back!!

Good morning Auriel!!!!

Beth I lived in Brunswick, a southern suburb of Cleveland, from 1985-1992. Really liked living there. The Flats was the place to party. Of course we had children who were toddlers and babies at the time and only went a few times.

Beccy, pull up a chair and have a slushie. It is my specialty. I need some practice making them because I plan on making a batch for the July Ya Ya meet.

Hi Elaine, how are you doing?

Hi Debster, glad you are here.

bfeller is handing a tray of slushies to all who want them. She has also put some soda on the tray also for those who don't want alcohol.

Hey, Debbie!! Welcome back! Couldn't get enuff of us, huh??!!! So now the holidays are finished for ya and in less than 2 weeks you're off to the Mouse House!! Sounds like a great escape from the winter doldrums, you lucky girl!

Betty, you have been busy, busy!! Stuffed peppers on the stove here, tonight. Got the laundry done and put away, too!!

Hi, Elaine! How can you watch a game you already know the outcome of? I have never understood that.

Hi, Nutsy!! It's Monday, there, already, isn't it? Kids gone back to school and you can play?

Hey CaliforniaBraceletBratwholovesApolodorkskaterboy!!!

Hate to do this but DH needs to scan some stuff for work and the scanner is hooked to my computer. May try to use her computer.

Elaine, dear, my question was not meant to scoff at you. I just re-read it and it didn't sound right. I am actually asking what you are watching--is it the plays? The ham shanks and tight.....um.....pants, that's it! I have just never been into sports and am curious as to what other people see in it.
