Seriously...You're Going Again?! Yep!! The Final Wrap-Up!!! 12.26.13

Oh God I just can't imagine Magic Kingdom being anyone's least favourite park. Glad he "saw the light" a little bit.

Celebrate the Magic is SUCH a beautiful show. I still liked Magic Memories and You a bit more, but this one is still spectacular. I love how they can add and remove segments depending on the season and what not. I can't wait to see the Christmas addition. :santa:

Wishes still gives me chills, even just photos of it. There is nothing I would rather be doing at any time.

That's so cool that hundreds and hundreds of people also went to meet up with Keith. :lmao:

I am absolutely familiar with that wall. Unfortunately, I tend to just walk around it. :headache:

Ahh Mickey Waffles. Why are you so good?

Over time, I have determined it isn't really Magic Kingdom he doesn't like but rather undisciplined children and the massive crowds. So, yea, those hundreds of people going to meet him was just great too!! :lmao: As he has gotten past those two obstacles, he is seeing MK for what it is! Thank goodness! :goodvibes

Normally we go around that wall too...but by the time we found it it was coming up on 11:45pm and we had been at DHS at 8 am or so with only a brief break. So we hit the wall rather than skirting around it!

Aren't Mickey waffles the best way to begin a day!!

I agree about the laser shows! When I saw the Christmas version last year I was amazed since I hadn't really seen any but The Magic Memories and You version. Your trip will be here soon! Christmas is so magical at Disney!!:yay:

No worries about not posting, I've definitely been in that situation before. Time just completely flies sometimes.

Wow....Keith wanting to spend as much time in the parks as possible? You are correct, I'm shocked!

Hahahaha, your smart phone comment. It's so true, isn't it? And I admit wholeheartedly that I am just as guilty with grabbing my phone all the stinking time!

Once Keith discovered Park Hoppers and the ability to tour like HE wanted, I think it made a difference. He began enjoying the park just a little bit more! :goodvibes

Well, I can't say I am not guilty of the Smart phone phenom either! Keith says I am constantly on mine. It just so happened I was taking the picture so I could place blame elsewhere!! :lmao:

After eating a hearty breakfast at Ohana and a peaceful boat ride back to the Magic Kingdom, we decided to see what the Magic Kingdom had to offer us! We found this....

Lots and lots of people!! So Keith suggested we head here:

And that's what we did!!

First I grabbed a few more pics of Main Street.

And then we head off to await our train! The wait was very short and within 10 minutes we were "all aboard"!!!

Soon we were pulling out of the Main Street Station and making our way into the wild frontier!!!

Here is a completely random picture of the train itself...I think I took this due to a documentary I had just seen about Walt Disney and his love of trains. It also talked about the trains he brought into the parks...so I took notice of the details. High on my "to-do" list is the steam engine tour. My grandfather was a train engineer so I have always loved trains!! :cool2:

Before long we found ourselves at Storybook Circus and the ultra cool new train station there!!

We pull out of this station and make our way back to our final (and original) destination: Main Street USA! But first one more picture along the way:

On our final day, we have started doing "4 Parks in 1 Day" but usually we start at rope drop and go until the last park closes. We discuss trying this even though we got a late start in the day thanks to breakfast...could we really do this today? After all we are in the first of four parks and it is already halfway into the day!

But it is worth a try...right?!?!?!

Magic Kingdom is just so crowded! Maybe due to it being a Saturday during Spring Break?! That could be a culprit! So we decide we have accomplished going through this park on the train, let's head to another park!!

A few last shots of Magic Kingdom and Main Street:

The most logical park is Animal Kingdom. 1) This park closes earlier than DHS and Epcot so it would really push doing all three parks in 6 or so hours and 2) DHS and Epcot are close enough to combine these two in some fashion. So it is off to Animal Kingdom we go!!

And of course, we decide to ride the ferry to the TTC where we can catch a bus!!

While on the ferry we grab a few shots of the ol' family!!

And a few shots on the water! It is still a gorgeous day!!!!

Continued in the following post...

Before long we are bouncing along the highway on a bus bound for Animal Kingdom!!

The Tree of Life...of course!!

We make our way to one of our favorite attractions and one with a very short wait time...as in there wasn't a wait time!! Hooray!!

There are some really cool and unique flowers along the pathway!

We were walking at a quick pace so I only had time for one tree picture:

And then it was time to visit all of our bug friends (these are about the only bugs I consider making friends with!!!)

After our bath in acid and getting sprayed from a bugs rear end and stung in our rear ends (well we know what to do to avoid this one!) we make our way back out into the bright beautiful world!

And we have a mountain in sight!! It is time to take on the Yeti!!!!!

This one makes Keith sick so he finds a spot to rest. The kids and I made our way into the single rider line. The wait time was between 10 to 15 minutes which works since we didn't want to wait on the return FP time and the regular queue was around 40 minutes!

We board our train and soon we are heading for the Himalayas!!

We meet back up with Keith and begin walking and discussing our next plan of action. By this time it is getting close to 2 pm. We have been at Animal Kingdom for one hour. There are two more parks to tackle and a dinner ADR. If we are going to succeed, we need to exit and make our way to park #3!! To the bus stop we go and soon we will be spending a relaxing afternoon doing what Keith likes best: sitting back and watching the world go by!!

I thought I might share a few pictures of Madison and my busy October month before I leave you! We had band competitions for a few weekends:

The music this year was Danny Elfman with selections from Tales from the Crypt, Spiderman, The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Simpsons. It was a cute show with fun music. Madison said she felt like a bad Tinkerbell in her outfit and when Tink showed up in Once Upon a Time this fall, she said "See I told you we looked like Tinkerbell!" :rotfl:

Okay so I had no part of this, but I thought it was cute! Madison and her boyfriend made their Halloween costume. Her boyfriend said "the things you do for a woman"...yep, learning early!!! :lmao:

And finally we had Senior Night and Madison's last high school football game. :sad1: This is what kept me the busiest all month! I am the band booster pres and was in charge of the night...it was like a part-time job! But it was all good in the end!! And it was COLD too!!!!

And now we are in November which is slightly better but soccer season has begun and the holidays are right around the corner! Life is just busy!! But a good busy! And best yet?! This time next week we will be packing up to go see Chris as he graduates from Basic Training! We have missed him and it is REALLY hard never getting to talk to him...twice in 8 weeks! The old fashion letter writing has been brought back to life!!

Have a great weekend and hopefully a new update will come real soon! This last day is half-way over but there is still a lot to do!!!!

Wow, I honestly can't remember the last time I rode the MK train. I may have to jump on that again one day. Plus it counts as doing an attraction for any 4 parks 1 day sticklers. :thumbsup2

Yay, check off park number 2!! I've always wanted to attempt this but yet I've not even tried yet. Definitely a bucket list item for sure!

Ahaha that's cute with the Halloween costume. Yup, he's learning early!

We don't do the train a lot but it is a fun little ride or a great way to get off your feet if you aren't going commando (as I tend to do!). Most times we try and do 3-4 rides per park but this day wasn't our typical 4-in-1 day...so it worked for us!

Yes, he is a smart boy!

Have Mercy on me Woman! You were firing off the updates left and right and I just now got caught up. You know that I felt your pain when you took the picture of the hubby and kiddos just sitting on a bench acting like they had no place to go. Don't they know that there's a whole "world" out there waiting on them? :rotfl:

So, you've conquered two parks already and I'm betting that you conquer the other two before the day is over.::yes::

So.....I just finalized a trip I have been working on for two months. The "will we or won't" we go to Disney trip! But I made full payment today and we have 40 days until New Years in Disney!! We may be TOTALLY crazy but I wanted to go during the holidays and it was Thanksgiving until we found out about Chris' graduation so the only other time was Dec 28 to Jan 2! But also Chris can go since he'll be home on a break!

If you have been during this time, tips are welcome! We have already had discussions on crowds and going with low expectations! I can discuss my plans later if anyone is interested! :-)

I am trying to not have a month between postings! Haha. I am super behind on your TR because you're firing them off too!!

I knew you would understand about then sitting on the bench. Don't they know we have things to do!

I think you know me well! :-)

Yay! I'm excited for ya'll! It doesn't matter if it's totally crazy or not, it's still a trip to Disney!

Of course, discuss the plans. We wanna know!

Seeing as though I just talked to you about it on Facebook, yay for New Year's!!!! You're going to have tons of fun. Regardless of the crowds, any Disney World fan needs to experience it at New Year's I think. Adds a new flavor to it all.

I need to make sure I get around to see the train station in Fantasyland this time. We don't normally take the train, but it is something we've done periodically. I think it's because I'm a "get out of my way" fast kinda walker that we just get where we're going faster walking. LOL.

You could absolutely do 4 parks in 1 day with a late start. I think the key is staying on track with your goals in each park.

Good choice on AK being your next park due to it's closing time. But you're a 4 parks in 1 day expert to me. ;)

Thanks!! That is what I say too! I have been busy making plans and playing with the changes like FPP, MDE and so. I will share plans since you asked! :thumbsup2

And thanks so much for your help!!! ::yes::

We don't usually do the train. I tend to run over people and then realize there are others than just me....:lmao: Okay kidding, but I am the same way however I leave my family behind due to being such a fast walker!

I don't know if I am an expert or not but thanks! I do think we are definitely getting the swing of it!!

I am just going to jump right in here and see if I can't wrap this trip up and share all my plans for New Years!!! I have some amazing things to share!!! ;)

As of now it is around 2 pm -2:30 and we have knocked out two of the four parks: Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Next up? Hollywood Studios!!! This is Keith's favorite park and one he can just do nothing in and love it!!!!

We arrive and Keith wants a Mickey bar. He and the kids order their Mickey bars and sit by the fountain next to the tip board. While they enjoyed their treat, I went off in search of Fast Passes for my favorite ride.....Tower of Terror!!!

While I was making my run, Madison was playing with my camera:

With FPs in hand and ice cream devoured we head off in search of something to do!

Keith loves riding Toy Story and always hopes the line isn't too long...but it usually is...well it almost always is!! :sad2: But still this is where we head and then we see a long wait! I can't remember but it was the typical 2 -3 weeks.........

So we made our way to one of our other favorite attractions!

We love walking through and we usually pick up some new tidbit of information! (The following picture isn't new info to me but we always learn something!)

We exit into the theater and enjoy the movie. Then we make our way out in hopes of finding the Streetmosphere acts! And SCORE!!!!

Continued in the following post....

After they finish their fun little show, Keith finds a bench and I get bored so Madison and I leave Keith and Chris when we hear Mulch, Sweat and Shears!!

This was the first time we had seen them with the female singer. It added a different dimension since she really let the boy band members have it!! After singing along a bit, we go back in search of our boys!

I found this hilarious...I love the little touches!!

This is just a little alcove with a door. Most people probably rush past these type things and miss out!!

Keith finds another bench (shock I know!!) so I decide to do a Park Bench tye video...

And now...it...is...time...for...TOWER OF TERROR!!!!!!

Madison got into the photo bombing action! So I must try again!

We rush through the FP queue...

The basement is so creepy!!!!

And of course our ride photo!! Now our time is up in our dear Hollywood Studios park! It is time to catch a boat!! Park #4 is coming up!!! And can you believe it is only 4:30!! The day is still gorgeous and Epcot has loads to offer!!

We dock at the International Gateway and head inside. What we do is next!!!

Park # 3 of the day is done! I'm impressed! I have never seen the female lead singer for Mulch, Sweat & Shears. There was a lady once playing an instrument on the truck but never doing the lead singing. Cool!

Haha, never leave your camera unattended.

I swear one day on a long enough trip I am going to go to DHS and spend an entire day just hauling people into One Man's Dream. So unappreciated by the masses, yet one of the best things in any Disney park.

As I was scrolling through the photos I was just going to ask if that was a woman singing with Mulch. Thankfully you already answered. I'd never seen that before either.

Yes! Park #3 is done!!! :cool1:That was the first time I had seen a female in the group...but she was good!! :thumbsup2

Yeah...I really thought I could trust Madison with my camera! I should have known better!! LOL

I LOVE One Man's Dream and I agree about it being under appreciated! I think that exhibit and the film made Keith begin to "see" what Walt Disney was all about and he then began appreciating so much more!
