Someone on the main board said Wagnut's You Tube was awesome with his DCL experiences. How do I find it? Where are youuuuuuu? Post a link or something. Thanks!

Sorry, this computer dummy doesn't know how to post a link. But if you go to youtube.com and do a search for disney cruise line you will be able to find it. What I saw of it looked to be one of the best videos on there. But wouldn't you know it, it is the only one that for some reason won't work right on my computer.:confused3 I will have to watch that one at Shannon's house.

Here is a great website you can check out for ideas...

When are you coming? It's realllllly hot right now!

We'll be there this saturday! Thanks for the info!

Did you try the gap?? I just bought a couple of swimsuits on sale for my DD3.

Re: SEA TREK.. here is their reply to my email if you need to be able to swim on this excursion:

Hello!
Not at all, this tour requires only walking and breathing (at the same time J). Since the helmet weighs 75 pounds you are only able to walk upright and not swim at all.

uuummmmm 75 lbs??? :confused3 I had to email them again 'coz I'm only 108 lbs and I don't think I can carry 75 lbs on my head/shoulders!!! :scared1:

Gr00vyChc, 75lbs seems like a lot of weight on your head/shoulders!

Beck's mom, I will ask my sister if she has any suggestions.
She (Pooh667) said Lands End.com for kids bathing suits.

:donald:

Hey - do you know where I can get a swimsuit for DD11? She is going to need a new one - she's wearing out her summer ones. I've checked Old Navy and a few other stores around here and they don't have them anymore.

Try Disneystore.com. last time I checked they were clearancing swimsuits.

disneyshopping.com clearance- ~$6/bathing suit for kids and $13 for women! there's a HUGE princess towel for $10 too, it's really nice

Yea, I think Disney online has them on clearance.. so does everyone else I guess. I saw some at Nordstroms today (kids section) and they were on sale as well. Maybe you should try looking at the sale rack.

Thanks to everyone for the swimsuit shopping advice! After an exhaustive online search (lots of places had them but not in the size I needed) I found a couple of suits she liked with coverups to match! whew! I didn't realize it would be that hard to find swimsuits in August! I actually found them at target.com - they weren't available in the store but I got free shipping online so that was good. The stores are already putting out the fall stuff - I can't believe it! It's still summer!

So anyway, I doublechecked everyone else's swimsuit/water shoe situation and we are all good. However, the guys could use a couple of new ties, and my DS13 needs new dress pants, but those should be easy to find. I usually get the school uniform ones from Old Navy.

Time is counting down fast!!!! This cruise will be here before we know it!!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Here is a link for you to my YouTube video....have a magical day!!!! Hope you enjoy....be on the look out for a NEW video covering our Eastern 7 day cruise....coming to a computer near you....October 2007!! LOL

YouTube Video!!

I hope that all of you folks that are visiting the parks before or after the cruise have already purchased your tickets. WDW raised prices again this morning. The prices to the parks are getting to the silly level.

The passports for DD and DH arrived Friday afternoon So, that was a 10 week processing time. I'm guessing the Passport people got through all their summer travel people. :) And I had a dream about the cruise again last night.:cloud9: Good stuff.

Yay! So glad to hear you received your passports. 10 weeks is a pretty good processing time as well. We ordered our Passports on January 20 and received them in exactly 10 weeks. I guess the summer rush is over like you said. That is great news for a lot of people. :cool1:

Thanks for the heads up Chuck. We paid off our package last week so we are good to go. :woohoo:

We're just very happy to have them, even if we don't need them. And they got the new fancy ones with the microchip in it. DS and I got ours last year and ours are just the regular old boring ones.

I'm ready to go on this cruise, people!! :woohoo: Who's with me???

Oooh cool! I don't think ours have a microchip and we got ours in March. How would I tell? :confused3 I assume it would be fairly obvious. I agree with you. I know technically we did not have to get Passports but I feel like I need to be prepared to fly back immeditaly in case we had an emergency. I know we could get an exception but that could take hours at a minimum and if something were important enough to warrant flying back in the middle of a 7 day trip, and then hours could make a difference. I am all about peace of mind though. :thumbsup2

I'm with you too. I can't wait to get this party started! :hippie: :dance3: :yay: pirate:

I am so with all of you! Does anybody know how to make the next 7 weeks go fast then slow down the week we are on the ship?;)

Okay so Ragdoll, Veronica, me and LAW are going to have the ship all to ourselves! :cool1:

I just finished filling out the Online Check-In for our cruise. Yes, I know I have to print it out but will have to do that at work - where the printer is! :surfweb: I love that it asked if my 3 year old daughter was pregnant! :rotfl2: I don't know why that tickled me, maybe because her DOB is at the very top and the question is at the very bottom. A glitch in their system?

Or maybe I just need to get some sleep? :faint:

OK, I am laughing so loudly I woke my husband up!:rotfl2: I filled in my online check in last night and it asked me if my 5 year old and 7 year old daughters were pregnant. I was just as tickled then as you are now!:lmao:

I also agree that the next 7 weeks are going to seem way too long and the cruise itself will be way too short! Maybe instead I can figure out a way to wait one week and cruise seven??:woohoo:

On the front of the passport is this weird looking icon at the bottom. And then on the back page, I think it was, it talks about your "electronic passport". I could tell there was an immediate difference between theirs and the one DS and I have because their covers are much thicker, the pages are in color and very nice. It's a very nice passport. So, while I was teasing DH that if he didn't get his passport, DS and I would just have to cruise without him. Now he's teasing me he has the cooler passport and apparently can use a faster customs line if offered than I can!

We got the passports for that reason - if we have to fly back and don't have them, I don't want to deal with the hassle :headache: of needing to get back in to the country! Because, like you, I figure if we're having to fly back in to the country - it's not for a good reason! Better to have them and not need them than to not have them and need them - that's my motto!!
