Here's a few of my favorite things we did while on board:
1) I loved the pineapple every morning. Be sure to go to the back of the buffet area, not just in the line, but way back to get the most amazing fresh fruit yogurt and other goodies that don't harden the arteries. It was wonderful - and I am a huge fan of artery hardening breakfasts, but the fruit just started the day right prior to the binging later.
2) Lunch in Triton's (Lumiere's for us) is a very relaxing event - gets you away from the caos and is very good food.
3) Ask for a tour of the spa - it's fun and you also may get to be a tester on the first day. They have daily discounts also. For $15 for one day we were able to use the Rainforest room all day long (this is standard not a daily discount). That was very nice. And we also got to use the locker rooms which are also nice.
4) We loved hanging out in the Oceaneer's Club with our son. It was fun - adults can go down the slide in the club!
5) The drinks of the day are very good and very affordable.
6) Be sure to pick up at least one limited edition pin being sold on board.
7) There's a sale rack in Teasure Ketch! My son is wearing a great fleece jacket we got for $14! I totally should have stocked up on that stuff more than I did!
8) Be sure to grab a photographer to get some pictures of you and your family while on
Castaway Cay.
9) Go to the far end of the Family Beach! We came out to the beach area at about Cookies and it was just right. Be sure to get off the ship rightaway and run for it if you want a hammock. We had a huge joke about this with our DIS crew!
10) Palo was just as everyone says - amazing! I loved our dinner there. I was less enamored with the brunch due the seafood being pre-frozen. You will be able to get ressies once you board. If you don't have time to go - just go up and check out the space - It's very beautiful.
11) We took part in the family crafts and that was actually a lot of fun - it provided wonderful keepsakes for us.
12) Don't stress about where you sit in the Theater - the seats are all good but be sure to get there early for the shows to ensure you get a seat.
13) The graduation ceremony from the clubs is NOT TO BE MISSED! Total tear jerker and you get free things from Disney! OMG!!!! I hope they have this for the three night for you guys to experience.
14) Be sure to check out a sunset one night - and if you can grab a photographer and pull them out on deck with you to capture the beauty that is a caribbean sunset.
15) We purchased the packages for photographs - you will be refunded any you don't purchase out of the package. It turned out to be a good deal for us.
16) Lifestyle photos are our favorites and we proudly display them as our family portraits in our living room now. (These are the ones with the white sheet background and white on the floor). They come out spectacular.
17) Our first three days flew by - so much so it's difficult to remember what we did - be sure to stop and slow down and just relax. If my cruise flew by, the three night is going to be light speed unless you just relax and totally live each moment.
My husband and I were watching our video the other night and we both felt there was no way we would have felt good being on the Wonder without our children. We hd such an amazing time with them - their joy was the absolute highlight of our vacation!
HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME EVERYONE!
