We are staying at the Radisson at the Port. We are going to the Space Center on Wednesday and then plan to spend the afternoon at the pool. We want to be on the boat early so we can enjoy as much as we can.

I still have not packed but I did pull the kids clothes out last night!

Our plane leaves in 24 hours and I am sitting at the computer instead of packing! Need to go take care of that!

We tried for the Radisson, but it was booked full by the time we got around to making ressies. Hilton looks nice and has been recommended by a few posters, too. We, too, plan to get on as early as possible. Lots to do. . .and drink. . .

I finally finished packing last night around 10! Now I am at work counting the hours until we leave. Our flight is not until 6:45 mountain time tonight so it is going to be a loooong day!

I leave at 6 a.m. Thursday - and haven't even started packing! That's not exactly true: my suitcase has been retrieved from the depths of my closet, and all laundry has been done. It's just a matter of picking what still fits!

I want the sun in my face, a drink in my hand, and the sounds and smell of the ocean!
I CAN'T WAIT! See you all at the Micky pool at 2/Upper deck after drill!

48.5 hours til Mickey Pool. . .

I'm nearly packed minus a few items that will need a touch up of an iron before placing in carry on bag. Have money, will travel. Calls have been made, notes & phone numbers left, car filled, and house cleaned. We are ready. . .well, we will be by midnight, I'm sure!

We drive out in less than 2 hours. We meet in less than 31 hours. Aaarrrggghh! And. Woo-hoo!!

I must be the last passenger who hasn't left yet! And I still haven't packed...
I just printed my boarding pass, and am starting to get the pre-flight jitters - I'm going on vacation in 18 hours! I want this to be a relaxing vacation, but I have a feeling there will be so much to do and so little time as always. Here we go!

Well, gang, we made it back! We were so glad to meet those of you who we did as it helped break the ice for our first cruise. I know we didn't get to hang out with each other much due to conflicting schedules and such a short cruise, but getting to know each of you just a bit was worthwhile. Our best wishes go out to you all, and we hope you had as wonderful a cruise as Doc and I had. A special nod to Fallon and hubby for all the stress you went through. . .and you still made the cruise and had a good time! Our hats are off to you both!

Stay tuned for an upcoming TR. I plan to provide the skinny, the lowdown, on our impressions as first-time cruisers. . .sans daughter. More to come later. Meanwhile, we hope you all made it back safe and sound. Ciao!

Yo Heeeee Hoooooooo a pirates life for me.

Well, DH and I also made it back safe and sound and guess what!! Our luggage miraculously appeared as we were walking up to the Delta gate flying back today. Go figure. I guess that all's well that ends well.

We too enjoyed meeting everybody if only for a short time and hope you all had a great trip. Even with our troubles, we really had a great time at Disney and also on the cruise. Disney really, REALLY knows how to treat people right and DH and I are living proof.

Thanks Doc and Sleepy for the "Hats Off". I will be looking for your trip report and I still have this overwhelming urge to bang on your door. (hehehe)

Now, it's off to bed and back to reality tomorrow but I'll be dreaming of our next Disney cruise. We have already decided to to a 7 day Caribbean. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to thank you all for a great cruise. I met some wonderful people, and "meeting" you all before hand made going alone a little less intimidating. Who knows - maybe we'll meet on another Disney cruise some time?
