We just booked our cruise yesterday. While we haven't talk much about the FE, I'm sure my daughter would want us to participate. How many have signed up so far?

Does anyone know if cruisers receive a lanyard? We're bringing pins (we LOVE pins) and wondered if there was a special cruise lanyard.

Does anyone know what discounts are given on ship when paying with a Disney VISA? Is there a discount on the gift shop, spa, drinks, etc?

Do you have to have the card on your person, or can you just set up your on-ship account with your Disney VISA to receive the discount on various purchases?

Sorry for all the questions - I know there are some very experienced cruisers, so trying to soak up all of this knowledge.

Hello all! We just booked this cruise today. It'll be me, DW, DD Jordan(11), DS Jaret(8), DSisIL, DBroIL, DN Ansleigh(2), 2 DF's, their DS Zach(7), DS Zander(3), and DD Zoe(1).

For my family this will be our 3rd Disney Cruise. For everyone else in our party it'll be there 2nd. This was a very spur of the moment booking for us but we were missing Castaway Cay and it beats a weekend in Panama City.

Can't wait.

You'll each receive a lanyard based on your Castaway Club level (Silver, Gold, Platinum)

Does your daughter do email? If so I can pm you my daughter's email so they can get to know each other. This will be her first cruise without a friend her age that she already knew.

If this is your first cruise you do not receive one until you are a castaway cay member. But what we did, since this is our first cruise, is purchased the lanyards off of Disney.com, from the cruise line section . they have a mini wallet attached too. My DH and DS both collect pins as well.

Welcome, A Fish extender something you hang over the fish ornament outside of your stateroom door. You sign up to deliver a gift to the other participants/cabins that also wish to participate in the fish exchange. I am heading up the list and so far we have about 7 cabins.

Just saw the great rates for this cruise and decided to add a quick trip and suprise our son (8) with a little weekend getaway. We're already booked on the Fantasy for Christmas but this will be our first time on the Dream. So excited to do something so spur of the moment (for us, I'm a huge planner). Probably won't be doing FE's since we're doing them in December. Hope to see you all on ship, whoo hoo!
