I think Scottie means that as a joke because we only know of 11 of us going now from the DIS boards.

Welcome to the DIS! Some of us are repeat sailors also but the majority are 1st timers.

Sonya's daughter Amanda has been waiting for someone her age to talk to and share the cruise with so I'm sure your niece will be a big hit.

If you'll leave a little similar info about yourself and sailing companions, I'll post the final tally tomorrow. As of Friday, I'm off for Happyworld land as my DH calls it, so that will be my final post.

MrsQ, if you've read this entire thread then you've seen us mention lime green ribbons as a way for DIS'ers to recognize each other. I'll be wearing mine on my back pack. Look forward to meeting you on the cruise.

Heres the latest reply I got from DCL this morning about our dining times. I am SOOOO confused now!!

Thank you for your e-mail.

The dining times for your sailing will be 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

That is what I was forgetting to get the lime green ribbon.I assume it is easy to find that color.I will go this weekend and get some.DH and I are really looking forward to our first cruise.

Mrs Q: Will your niece be in the 8-9's or the 10-12's. My daughter will be in the 10-12 group as she will be 3 weeks short of 10 when we cruise and is able to choose which group she prefers. She and I compared navigators for both groups and although either would have worked really well, she found a few of the 10-12 activities more appealing.

Does your niece have email? Please feel free to have her email Amanda (my dd) at amandaf77@comcast.net . Amanda would be thrilled!

Well, it is nice to "meet" everyone. We are:

We (Michael and I) will be traveling on the 7-day Western the week before. All you first-time cruisers will love it.

Sonya: I'm not sure which group she will be in. Last I heard, she and her mother had not decided.

Scottie, I know there answer change from day to day. I personally hope that it will be the old times. 6 and 8:30. We have early seating.

Sonya, You have finally found somebody for Amanda! She has been waiting so long to talk to someone.

MrsQ, Have a great cruise on the Magic and maybe we'll see you on the Wonder. Are you going on the Eastern or Western Caribbean Cruise?

Ethen will be turning 3 on the cruise and Kelsey will still be three until October. I just realized that I use of put his age at three also. My kids are 11 months and 2 days apart. Poor Me!

Good luck finding the ribbon Maria. I ended up going with lime green curling ribbon from the gift wrap section of my local Walmart. Apparently lime green isn't a big selling item in my town. How about you Jennifer? Where were you able to find your ribbon?

Don't be too jealous, it just means I'm deeply in debt. LOL I didn't intend to take such a long vacation. We started out with the 7 days at WDW using my DVC points. Then we bought a resell and.... well we couldn't let all those lovely points be lonely so we decided to add the cruise. And then we thought, hmm, we're off Friday and Saturday, why wait til Sun when we have these great codes to get such good discounts, we'll just go early. And then, is it my fault we had initially intended to leave on Sat and now we were sailing on Sun so we NEEDED to stay another night at WDW. Then (and here's where it gets really good) my husband's company decides their yearly conference will be Sept 29th-Oct 5th in Reno, NV so I HAVE to go to Reno with him as soon as we get back. The company will pay for everything except for my airline ticket) I've never taken a vacation this long before and I feel truly spoiled but I am going to come back to work begging for overtime to pay for my extravagances. So everybody, when you see me, throw money! Oh wait, you'll be broke too! AHHHH! The power of Disney. LOL

Cheryl, I found ribbon at our Wal-Mart SuperCenter. It was in the fabric department. The ribbon is a little softer than lime and has a little glitter on it.
You not onlyon going on this unbelievable Disney Trip of a life time. You get to come back and go to Reno for a week. I just don't think that it's very fair. Just kidding! I hope you have a great time! So you are getting to go to Reno without the kids. Now that's my idea of a vaction.

We don't have kids. It's one of the reasons we can afford this trip. LOL Good thing too. DH & I are just big kids ourselves so who would be the parent?! LOL
I don't have time to hit the Walmart again before I leave but I'll have to check and see if they carry some new ribbon for my next trip exactly 4 months away today January 12th camping at Ft Wilderness. Maybe I could make a big bow out of it to put on the front of my trailer. I wanted to do that last time but it would have took too many of the gift wrap ribbon to have a decent size and those thingies are expensive!

The two of you are very lucky to get to have so much time with your husbands before you have kids. I love my kids to death, but wish that my husband and I could of had more time with just us. We were married two months when I got pregnant with Kelsey and Kelsey was two months old when I became pregnant with Ethen.
We aren't suppose to have anymore. So we'll be able to have us time in about 15 years. If we God chooses to give us another precious gift we'd Love it just as much. but would have to wait even longer for us time.

Is anybody ordering baskets from Shirley???

I just got off the phone with her and boy is she a nice lady. I wasn't going to order anything (trying to keep on a budget you know) but I got to thinking that it's our anniversary and I probably should. They will put ANYTHING you want in a basket, talk about custom jobs!

Anyway, if you are ordering from Shirley, you better place your order now as they need time to prepare. I'm going to start another thread looking for basket ideas and get back to them tomorrow.

It sounds to me like our dining times will be back to the regular (6 & 8:30) times based on something I read today from someone who is on the boat. I guess we will find out soon enough.
