Looks like Mousesavers is posting info about a discount: http://www.mousesavers.com/walt-dis...world-vacation-package-discounts/#memorymaker
It would cover the month of September. I haven't decided if I should go for it or wait and see if higher discount may be available in a few months! It seems like you have to go through a travel agent and not through Disney directly, but I could be wrong.
What a terrible "discount". I ran the numbers, and the Disney website seems a little deceptive at first.
8 nights pop century regular room, 6 days park tickets.. full price $2159
8 nights pop century 6 days park tickets, w/discount $2108!!!!
Sure you get the memory maker add on.. $150 value ( i wasn't planning on buying anyways), and you do save over $50 on the room. But come on, that hardly counts as a discount. Of course your mileage may vary and maybe a mod or higher room would yield more savings.
I think this is Disney's way to get us to jump off the fence and book. If enough of us fall for this, they will adjust down the free dining offer.

). We are used to nice days and cool nights with no rain and very light crowds since we go in early December. Our DGS school schedule won't allow a December trip this year so we have scheduled September 25-Oct 1. What should we prepare for the weather and the crowds?
) and after speaking with the CM, she informed me that they were all advised back in early January that they would all be working mandatory overtime in mid-March. Although she obviously could not confirm anything, she made it seem likely that a discount offer is forthcoming at that time; hopefully
pixie dust, our check in date will fall within the free dining offer dates.
