Ok POP lovers....here's a few photos I thought I'd share from our little photo shoot last year. I came up with the design for the outfit and had a friend sew it for us. If this doesn't get you in the mood for POP......nothing will! :goodvibes

Got everything we wanted. Super easy. :)

Absolutely adorable!!

Congrats to everyone getting their ADRs!

We'll be celebrating our 23rd anniversary @YC Sept 16-25.

So excited, We got 40% off the room, doing deluxe dining again, & had enough points on my cc to pay for the flight. :woohoo:

:welcome: to our group! I have you added to the first post! :yay:

:welcome: to our group! I also have you added to the first post! :woohoo:

I know that I've posted these before, but these are what I'm planning , please let me know what you all think:

Sept 25 is arrival day: DTD..eat at EOS

Sept 26 is Epcot day: Breakfast Akershus 9:15

Sept 27 is MK day: Breakfast Crystal Palace 8:15

Sept 28 is off day: Breakfast Chef Mickey's 9:30
(late because the 27th is MNSSHP)

Sept 29 is AK day: Breakfast Tusker House 9:00

Sept 30 is DHS day: Lunch at 50's 12:15

That's what I"m planning. I know that I'm missing a TS and I am trying to figure out what it will be.

Now some of my friends are telling me that I"m crazy for doing so many breakfast TS's. What do you think? I figure with the breakfast buffets we'll be full most of the day (so eating doesn't interfer with touring) and then we'll just do CS's somewhere later in the day with a snack in between. Sound good?

Linda-It really has do to with your family and your family's preference! We don't do any sit down breakfasts ever. We eat in our room, because we're ready to head to the parks early and get a lot done. We enjoy coming in out of the heat and sitting down and resting in the late afternoon and early evening, and then getting that second wind and hitting the parks again til late in the evening! But I definitely see it the other way too, its just not for us!

I've used wegoshop.com and LOVE them and there's no minimum! There's no markup either. You pay the store's prices and they'll shop at Walmart or a warehouse store if you ask them to. You just pay a tiered delivery fee. I can't say enough good things about them! Here's a link to their page wegoshop

Great to hear your endorsement. I think this is who we're going to go with. I've read other places on the DisBoards, that their delivery fee for just about anywhere on Disney property is $9.99!

Amy, love the outfit and the accessories! Did you make the necklace?

Congrats to everyone making their ADRs! I have been changing a few here and there and haven't had a problem.

Gosh, I missed a lot over the weekend!

If I could ask for prayers for my father in law. He has terminal liver cancer and is not doing well. His organs are swelling and making him uncomfortable and he is hallucinating at night. I think they are going to place him in a care facility since he is becoming a danger to himself. My poor mother in law is a wreck of course and my husband is trying so hard to be a rock for both of them. So any prayers would be wonderful!

I really had to talk my dh into taking this next trip. We've been to WDW twice now (2008 and 2009) and he said he was ready to do something different but he said we could go if I really wanted to so I booked the trip for this Sept as soon as I got a PIN.

Then at the 180 day mark I asked if he wanted to make any input into our ADRs and he said I should just make whichever ones I would like.

Last night I finished a little scrapbook from our last trip and when he looked at it he said "you know, I'm really starting to get excited about this trip". That one little sentence made me so happy :banana:

I always knew that he'd have a great time once we got there, but it was so nice to hear him say that. Now if Sept would just roll around.....

 I am so sorry. My dad passed away from mesothelioma almost 2 years ago, a fast terminal cancer ... I know how tough that all is. My prayers are with you all, especially your MIL and husband. I hate that anyone ever has to go through that.

MikellaCinderella you daughter's outfit is so cute (as is she!) princess:

I've never seen a custom made for a resort before!!! How original! :thumbsup2

We have always done TS breakfast, I know on the DP it is not a good value but if it is what works for your family don't let what others say bother you.

Do whatever you want it is your vacation. We aren't huge breakfest eaters. We like the food but if we make breakfest reservations it is usually around 1030 in the morning. We still have 3 breakfest adrs.

I will be praying for your father in law and your family. Hugs to you all.

How cool is that! My husband SWEARS he is just going because I want to go and he'll do whatever makes me happy, but he is constantly asking for planning updates and asking how scrapping the last trip (2009 - I'm slow hehehe) is going. I told him the other day "admit it, you had way more fun than you thought you were going to on our first trip..." He said "ya, it actually was a lot of fun!" He won't admit he is excited for this one though LOL.

We were supposed to be at pop the first night of our trip (9th) but hubby said go ahead and switch it to CSR if it doesn't change our FD reservation at all. So we won't be at POP. I'm kinda sad! I was so looking forward to wandering around and taking great pics of the resort!

I may be confused, and I dont want to start any crazy debates or anything, but I'm pretty sure they are suppose to be two stand alone things..that they are making the lines interactive to entertain while in line, so the wait is more bearable for younger kids, so line holding doesn't go on....and that the play area is off to the side because its suppose to be used at a different time (before or after the attraction) :confused3 Am I off base?
When we were there, I remember a sign showing adults going to the line and children going to the play area, while the adults snaked through the queue. I just found some pictures and descriptions online that confirm this, so it does look like they encourage the children to play in the area while the parents are in line. Although, yes, you can also visit the play area either before or after the attraction as well. There is only one specific "toy" in the actual line, which is the interactive honey wall. So I do think they intended the play area to be part of the queue experience as well. However, we were there shortly after it opened to the public, so maybe they have certain procedures in place now that they didn't then? Here is a link to some information (the queue stuff starts on the third picture):

Wow! I was off for two days and came back to 10 pages of posts! This is a seriously active group! :o)

DH got excited about putting together packages for the kids and even got on the Disney Store website looking for things like pjs and sunglasses. DD walked in while we were surfing and shot down all the things we had tentatively identified that she'd like! :rolleyes1

Go figure! She's 8 and not into princesses and absolutely ABHORS pink. :headache: Which is a pain because she's blonde and it's a fabulous color on her. She will accept green and likes blue, but purple is too close to pink and all the characters she's into are the ones that are harder to find: Pocahontis, Mulan, Jasmine.

In good news, DH also seemed positive on the MNSSHP! I thought he or I could just take DD but he thinks we have to take DS (3) too. I am not sure on this...I love the boy but he's never been a fan of halloween and last year the *only* part of his costume he'd wear was his cowboy hat. (With his blue coat on he looked less like a cowboy and more like a modern day rancher!)

It will be fun, but alot more planning will be needed to pull it all off without terror and tantrums!

Hi everyone,

Love reading all your plans for WDW. As this will be my first visit and not being a local (Aussie) could someone please explain (PIN) people receive them but I'm not sure what these are?

Also as we do not celebrate halloween here My DD14 & DD16 are excited to do trick or treating, (I hope this is open for teenages as well) how are people already planning nights when I can't find dates, times or buy tickets..... you guys must have inside knowledge or a lot of experience.... please let me know. Thanks

The days that MK closes at 7pm are most likely going to be MNSSHP nights.
