I'm really trying not to wish the summer away so we can go to Disney! I love having my kids home during the summer, I'm the one who cries when they go back to school in the fall. I need to plan some fun things to do pre-Disney for this summer.

Just found and subscribed! It looks like alot of cool people will be at WDW in September!

My dh and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary (how could it have been that long?) and my 38th birthday. We are taking my sister and her bf, my mom and dad and our two kiddos.

I am also trying not to wish the summer away and looking for some activities to keep us excited about Disney. The first thing is getting the 3 year old signed up for swim lessons so he can enjoy the pool and not scare me half to death. Our daughter is 8 and getting into the planning side and is finally *finally* excited about riding a roller coaster!

We will be at Kidani Village from September 11-16th.

I know the feeling. I was excited when I could make my ADRs on Monday. The only problem I am having is booking the Fantasmic Dinner Package. :confused3

So far we just received a light dusting of snow really. And it's starting to melt away. :goodvibes

On the way to school my daughter changed the words of "rain rain, go away". She was singing "snow snow, go away. Come another winter day. We want heat, we want hot. Give us what we really want".

I am officially going insane! I don't want to bug my TA, truly I don't. I know she was up & ready to make my ADRs this morning. And I know she'll send me an e-mail today. But I wanna know now!!! It's been 6 1/2 hours since 6am already. Where's my e-mail?! It was here at 8:30am last year!

You would think I could find something better to do with my time than obsessively check my e-mail every few minutes, wouldn't you? :confused3 :rotfl:

I normally have 5 kids to feed & get ready for school but turned out only to be 3 today. Still meant I wouldn't be able to make my own ADRS so it's nice that she offers.

Are you talking about getting the place/time you want or booking it online? I was worried about booking it online but I've read that if you went the date manually you are able to book online.. I tried for fun a september date and it works! I hope I can get what I want for that too. I am going to start by booking that first...

I'm in lower Michigan and we escaped the storm for the most part. We did get some sleet and lots of rain, but as of right now it isn't cold enough to freeze so we're fine. Now where my parents live which is about an hour and a half North, they got nearly a foot of snow. I'm a happy camper today!

Me too! Lots of rain and its really windy, but no snow. Just north of us got freezing rain, so glad we missed out on that this time!

Here in WI we got wholloped!:scared1: I'm looking out the window at about a foot of snow, thats sitting on top of sleet/freezing rain. And it's still snowing:sad2:
But I got a snowday out of it:banana:. It's too bad this didn't happen on Friday. I would have plently of time to make my ADR's instead of before work.

My ADR's are done. I booked our Town Car last week. Now it is time to just wait for the trip to come. I guess I have MNSSHP tickets to get and the little part of paying the trip off. Yes, it is going to be a long summer of waiting. I guess I would rather be on this side of the trip instead on the other after we get home. Then I am just depressed.

Knowing me, I would email just to find out. Do it! Do it! Your daughter's song is awesome! :lmao:

After this winter 3-6" is a dusting ;)

Trying to figure out ideas for a Tangled night on our countdown party. We usually do them the 23rd but I am going to have a tooth pulled so I will be in no mood, and we pick up Tangled the 29th anyway so I am just postponing it. Any ideas?

Do you have boys or girls?

Oh, my oldest would love the zoo idea! Only problem is I can't figure out how to do a snake costume that wouldn't be sweltering hot.

What about just kelly green shirt and shorts with triangle/diamond cut outs applique on the sides and back. Maybe a ball cap that you could fabric paint eyes and use the bill to make a mouth and have a tongue hanging off the brim.

Now that is my type of sewing!!! :lmao:

DH's mom and sister got me a sewing machine for my bday last year. Guess where it is? Still in the box...and that was August. :headache:

Oh you should get it out; you will have so much fun! The sundresses would be a great 1st project; easy fun & disney. Let me know if you need any help or encouragement!:cheer2:

OK break over now back to cleaning for this birthday party; cuz the crappy weather means everyone will be in my house the entire time. :scared1:

It's so funny. Within minutes of my posting that, my TA e-mailed and said she was able to make all my ADRs. Just needs a bit of time to put them into an internary for me. I replied and said she must read DIS. :lmao:

I just had a bright idea! I thought I could log into Disney's website, pull up my reservation # and see the ADRs that way. Nope... no good. It didn't work. Though it was nice to see the Donald Ticker saying 180 days until my vacation. :goodvibes

I booked through a travel agent and can get on the Disney website and see all of my reservations. You can ask her how to do it. You should definitely be able to also.

OH KELLY I too am hoping for FD as well! It will save me like 600 or more. I am on kids stay and play rt now and that gets my youngest free tickets but thats about it! FD would make my year! Oh the little things!
Oh good I'm not alone.

Have you tried calling it in.

I know it is a great feeling having everything paid for. Our trip is paid in full thank you tax return. I just need to buy our MNSSHP tickets and possibly upgrade from the QSDP to the regular plan need to talk to dh about that one. We actually pefer the freedom of the QSDP. But we also like a couple of TS meals so not sure what to do there.

Boo!!! :lmao: Last week was so nice and now this cold yuckiness again. I threaten every year that I'm moving.... preferably to some island country :goodvibes

I also am trying to not wish away the summer... It is so hard. I had my daughter in August and as much as I wanted to meet her I tried really hard to not shove time forward b/c then summer would basically be over. This year I have plenty to keep me busy (Wedding Photographer) so I hope to not have much time to think about it once my season starts in April. That is why I'm doing a lot of homework now b/c there will not be a lot of time later!!
