Thanks for compiling that list! We may end up going on 9/16, I won't be buying our tickets until a day or two beforehand to see which date is best...

Sure thing, I thought it would be easier for everyone to see that way:wizard: I hope some other September peeps join the party on the 16th :dance3:

We will be at MNSSHP on 9/27. We LOVED it last year!!! This year my oldest wants us to do a Peter Pan theme. So...my hubby will be Captain Hook. I will be Tiger Lily. DD6 will be Wendy and DD2 will be Tinkerbell. It is all my oldest's plan. We surprised them with our trip last year, so it is fun letting her in on the planning this year.

We cannot decide between the 13th and 16th for MNSSHP! Decisions, decisions...

Pick the 16th, pick the 16th

LOL JK ;)

I would go on the 13th if it wasn't our arrival day. In general Tuesdays are probably less crowded than Fridays. Though in all honesty I'm not too worried with it being so early in September either party isn't likely to be horribly crowded :thumbsup2

Thanks for the responses everybody! :flower3: This is the list I have so far for MNSSHP:

We're going 9/20! SO excited!

We did matching T-shirts one year...we all wore mickey tie-dye shirts and it turned out really cute and we got lots of compliments! Nice way to be festive without being too hot :thumbsup2

I wanted to go to the party on Tuesday September 13th but that's our arrival day and I felt the kids would be too tired from travelling. DH said they would be fine but I decided they would do better at the Friday party so DH was out-voted ;) I'm not good at "creative" stuff either so I usually end up having to buy something too. Too bad I can't sew! I bought my oldest daughter who was 4 at the time all custom boutique clothes for our first ever WDW trip in 2007, now I just try to coordinate the girls but want them to be comfortable in the heat(moisture wicking/quick-drying clothes). I do love seeing all the creativity and different costumes at the party though!

We always do custom boutique for EVERY special event and vacation! I just can't get enough of the "cuteness"....especially since my DD will be 6 in August and I fear before too long, she'll tell me no more ruffles and cuteness.:sad1:

Well, I belive the 9:15 show didn't start until 9:30, then they arranged the kidd around the table, and then Raupunzel and Flynn came out and talked for a couple mins. They then went around the table and chatted with all for a second. Then they chose their dance partners( hint!! set up your kids at the ends of the tables, they seem to pick the kids on the ends of the table) They danced & clapped twice around the table twice. Then on to meet and greets. How ever the line takes?

Thanks!!:woohoo:

:yay: I wann be on that list!! I don't think they have the MNSSHP that early in September though, do they? We are only there until the 12th.

Wow, a custom dress! I'd love to see pictures!

Certainly! Here's a link to the dress we purchased! http://www.facebook.com/album.php?id=230431541347&aid=307594

All of DD's outfits for Disney trips are customs....it's sooo much fun shopping for her! I never want her to grow up!! Wish I had enough talent to create some of these outfits myself, but I can only make the matching hairbows and jewelry....I have to leave the sewing to others. I just got a sewing machine for Christmas this year, but sadly, Mikella will be too old for custom boutique by the time I figure out how to sew anything for her!!:rotfl2:

I have tons of designer "friends", so if you ever need an outfit I can give you some names! Most have shops on Ebay or Etsy, and some on FB as well.

One more...I'm just full of questions today, Lol

Who plans on attending MNSSHP? What day? Dining plans? Costumes?

I know the official dates haven's been released yet, but based on the current hours we're planning for the party on Friday September 16th. I made reservations for both my girls for Pirate's League at 3 pm, dinner at the Plaza at 4:20 PM, which will allow us to be free by 6:00 pm to get in line for a pic, etc. Last year we got in line at 6:00 for the seven dwarves and were one of the first few families at 7:00 and it worked out well. It was the best picture and we used it as our Christmas card last year :santa:

DH and I will most likely not be dressed up unless it's a very mild pirate theme to go with the girls. The heat and humidity in September is usually sweltering so none of us want to be dressed too warmly!

So, how about you?

My husband will be Jack Sparrow. My son Indiana Jones. My daughter Belle and I was thinking about being Snow White. I have everyone's costumes but mine. Still not sure if I want to dress up. If I decide not too, I will just make my MNSSHP party shirt that includes my name :) I got the design last year on these boards :)

I am going to make an appointment for BBB on the 27th before the party for my daughter. We will also be doing PL but later on in the week.

We are hoping to do the party on Tuesday 9/27. If that turns out to be an offical date I am planning on making a 4:45 reservation at Crystal Palace. Not sure about costumes yet. Last year DS was Woody and we got great pictures of him dancing with Woody, Jesse and Bullseye. DH and I didnt dress up because we werent sure exactly how many people dressed up our ages, especially early in September. This year though we are planning to wear light costumes since we felt left out :lmao: I really want to try and meet the dwarves this year, but I cant justify waiting on line that long with a little one. He had more fun going on Buzz Lightyear over and over again since there was no wait whatsoever. Im still trying to convince DH we need to attend two parties one to go on rides and one to get to meet all the characters. Heres hoping for some pixie dust because hes a stubborn one!
I bet your son was adorable :) What are yall planning on wearing this year?
I have been thinking about doing two parties for that reason since it will be our first year attending the party.

:welcome:to the new September travelers!

I won $600 today! I ordered our Universal tickets and have enough left for lunch at Margaritaville while we are there too.

Don't you just love it when things like this happen, it just adds frosting to the cake. Congrats on your winnings and happy vacation planning.

:yay: I wann be on that list!! I don't think they have the MNSSHP that early in September though, do they? We are only there until the 12th.

I don't believe it happens earlier. Last year the 14th was the first party date.

Are you able to move your trip by a couple of days? Keep in mind these dates are not carved in stone. They may change. Disney changed a few dates around last year when they finally released the "official" dates & times.

4 more days until our ADRs can be made!

Kona Cafe dinner
Boma breakfast
Boma dinner
Crystal Palace breakfast
Ohana dinner
Le Cellier lunch
Garden Grill dinner
Kona Cafe breakfast - OOP
1900 Park Fare dinner

I still need one more dinner. We'll be at MK (CP breakfast) on Fri 23rd. Park closes early for MNSSHP and we are hopping to Epcot, which is open until 12am.

Where to eat? In MK before we leave; Epcot once we get there, or somewhere in a resort restaurant while travelling? Any ideas?

Good morning! :goodvibes

Wow, there are so many going to the 9/27 party party:

Still no takers for 9/16? ;)

That dress is gorgeous!! I love all the custom clothes, though the costs can really add up. The first year we went I needed an extra suitcase for all my daughter's custom outfits with all the matching shoes, bows, jewelry, etc. DH told me I needed to pack lighter after that
