So, I'm a bit confused. I read Touring Plans and some other places and everyone says that Dumbo is like THE attraction (aside from Soy Story Mania). Why is that? What is so special about Dumbo that makes a touring plan be called "Dumbo or Die"? :confused3
Because you get a birds eye view of the area around Cinderella's Castle!

Ok, so I know pretty much everyone has already posted there ADR. I am a little late to the game! I was just wondering if these places and times look good.

Saturday Wolfgang Puck Café at 6:00
Sunday Kona Café at 6:00
Monday Coral Reef 6:00
Tuesday Breakfast at Tusker House 8:00 am ; Lunch at Le Cellar at 2:00 (going to be paying OOP for TH)
Thursday Boma at 6:00
Friday Narcoossee’s at 6:00

I get to make ADR on Monday so I am just getting thing in order. TIA!

Eh, even though its our first Disney vacation I won't be heartbroken if we don't ride it. I may stand in a 10-15 minute line.

Those all look so yummy!!! I am bummed that we aren't doing any of the Wolfgang Puck places. Enjoy!

I agree you did pick good places to eat, I wanted to try WGPE in DTD, we went to one years ago when Pleasure Island was still around in the late 90's and I was not impressed but they had just opened and it seems they have their act together now I have read a lot of good reviews, but I can only fit in one trip to DTD and I want to go to Raglan Road more

You sound like me. With my 1st son I needed Zofran for nearly 25 weeks. With my 2nd son I was on Zofran until the very end and was still sick every single day. I was actually sick until 3 days after I had him. It was horrible.

THIS WAS EXACTLY ME! Zofran was my lifesaver with both of my pregnancies.

That is awesome because that is where we are staying!! I thought it would be a fun way to keep a memory from our first trip down to WDW.

That is a great idea for a keepsake!

DTD also has a large caricature stand 3 or 4 artists. I'm looking at the one DH and I got in 07 that's hanging on our wall. I know the price goes up by number of people, if you want color or blk and wt and just head or full body too. We got heads only (which included our shoulders and a bit of our shirts, 2 people in color. we also purchased the frame and it coat about $85! but WORTH it!

That caricature is fanstatic! And your other pictures are great as well.

Hi all!! Hope everyone is having a Magical day! Last night I stayed up till 1am making autograph and passport books for the 5 little girls I am traveling with. Used our talented DISigners , placed my order thru artscow and paid. Only to wake this morning to an email refunding my money and saying I used copyright things. OMG I hear everyone on here talk about ordering from them. I am crushed. I ordered 10 books. I might just have to print them myself. So that was my less then magical start to my day! But on a positive note....I get to make our ADR's in 11 days!! Can I get a whoot whoot.....LOL Well I am off to walk with my friend and releave my stress.

Sorry about that! I have heard so many positive things about Artscow! Have you considered using Shutterfly? I just got my books today and used some "copyrighted" things with no problem.

You know actually after thinking about it that does make perfect sense..... hmmm... Now I need to change that. :surfweb: Back to the drawing board but I guess that means I will be giving up Ohana.

Any suggestions? That day in the morning I had as an open day to either go to MK for the morning or back to Epcot if I happened to need more time there. I definitely was planning on sleeping in and wanted some pool time that day before going to the Party. I even thought that I might possibly want to go back to DTD but again that is why I was leaving that day open as far as plans and I felt safe with the Ressie at Ohana at 5pm

I've heard good things about The Plaza, if you're looking for somewhere in the MK?

Ok, I remember where Belle's storytime was located. I didn't know Rapunzel and Flynn were doing a show.....just figured they were there for autographs and pics!

They do a show, they dance with the kids and the kids can color. But you have to be in the correct place in line. I don't know the exact numbers, but they let, say 30 kids in for this dance and color. Then they let 30 more kids into a "holding" area where they can see all the festivities but don't participate. So the first 30 kids do their coloring and then Flynn and Rapunzel come out and they and the first 30 kids do the dance, then those kids go through the meet and greet line. Then, the other 30 kids go through the meet and greet line. My daughter was the last one to get in with the second group of kids. She's young so didn't care, but I would've been kinda bummed if she was older and saw all that fun but wasn't able to participate. The characters and CMs were still great though, allowing me to bring in my youngest when my oldest was almost at the front of the line, the characters spent alot of time with my girls even though she was last in line. But we will be avoiding this meet and greet in the future just because the lines are sooo long and it moves pretty slow.

I also have to add that Flynn was the ONLY character that made my youngest cry. :rotfl:

I have never had cucumbers in vinegar... do you just cover them?

My grandma always makes cucumbers and onions in sour cream and vinegar. I LOVE them. I will have to try them in vinegar only.

Yes, you can get a microwave for free at CSR. It's on a first come first serve basis.

I so love the look of Bonnet Creek!! When we can't get Free Dining, I'll will be seriously considering a stay there. All that extra room, washer & dryer, porch - it calls my name! :rotfl:

Thanks for the microwave info everyone!

About Bonnet Creek, I love having all that space and amenities.

All of your ADRs look great! Kona Cafe is one of my absolute FAVORITES!

THIS WAS EXACTLY ME! Zofran was my lifesaver with both of my pregnancies.

Oral Zofran was my lifesaver with my oldest...my second I had to have it 24 hours a day through a pump in my leg...the FedEx man would bring me my supplies every day and the home health nurse would come too.

She was worth every minute. princess:

We added on another night to ours so now we will be checking in on September 23rd. Still staying at pop and leaving the same date, September 30th :)

I haven't tried KONA yet, I was wondering if I should pass O'Hana (been many times) and go to KONA instead. We really like O'Hana and I would hate to be disappointed. Has anyone done both to give me a comparison

I've been to both several times and they are hard to compare. They are completely different. Ohana is fun with lots of action, Kona is more relaxed. We prefer the food at Kona, but the kids love the activities at 'Ohana. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

After my experience with booking CRT online the last couple years, I CALLED them to make my ADR this year so I could just give them my credit card info for a guarantee. We are always on the dining plan too, but the last 2 times I tried to make the CRT ADR online, it made me pay for it with my credit card even though I'm on the dining plan and then I had to tell them about it when we got there so it could be switched to dining plan credits, and then wait a couple weeks for them to reimburse my cc. Pain in the butt!! So....last week I called them to make the ADR for this trip so I wouldn't have to go to all that trouble again. lol.

I made my BBB ressie at the same time as when I called for CRT. You just need a cc guarantee for that too. You can pay for it when you get there and you can choose any package you want when you get there as well.

Ok, great! I was going to do my readies online but I believe I'll call!

I'm finally planning my ADRs so I can send them to IPO. Lily is content and quiet in her bouncy seat for the first time since she's been home. Wish me luck!

HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY :thumbsup2......................challenge.............try to say IRISH WRISTWATCH :laughing::laughing:

I haven't done Dumbo. Or TSMM. I enjoy the experience and do not always worry about what rides people say are "must do's" Not everyone loves A Bug's Life at AK and it is one of our family favorites, and it is one of our "must do's" so these guides can be helpful but don't let them drive you mad :goodvibes

Headed over to the other thread. :thumbsup2

I think it is partly because it is one of those classic rides that everyone thinks of. Like its not really magical until you've riden it...Sort of like the tea cups. :confused3
But...it loads SLOWLY. So to avoid a line it is best to get there early in the morning. But when we were there last year in September I only saw the wait time get up to 10 minutes....granted I didn't watch it all day, but you know what I mean. ;)

You saw a wait time for Dumbo of only 10 min?!? Wow!! EVERY time we've been there, the wait is 45 min or longer!! It's insane considering how tame of a ride it is and how quickly it's over. I agree, most of the wait is the slow loading and unloading. But.....Dumbo and the tea cups are classic....so I guess that's why people ride. lol.

Ok, great! I was going to do my readies online but I believe I'll call!

I did all my other ADR's online and just called for CRT and BBB! I like being able to do them online, but you can't book BBB online and after all the issues with CRT and dining plan credits/cc guarantees, I just called to save the headache in advance.;)

I have never had cucumbers in vinegar... do you just cover them?

I use a water/apple cider vinegar mix....and also add some salt. It would be hard for me to tell you how much of each because I never really pay attention. lol. I just cover the cucumbers in the vinegar and then start adding water and salt until the taste is right! :thumbsup2

Ok, I'm gonna try this! I just went and added an 8:05am breakfast at CP. What time do they let you in MK for an 8:05 ADR? Hoping we can get a few good photos in front of the castle before our ADR and then rush straight to the Rupunzel show to be first in line. :goodvibes My DD isn't all that thrilled with the Pooh characters anymore, so I don't think she'd mind if we have to leave before seeing all of them. I think if I explained to her that we needed to get in line for Rapunzel, she's gladly leave breakfast early. I'm going to put her in this AMAZING Rapunzel/Flynn custom dress that should be arriving at our house any day now. It's GORGEOUS! Photos in front of the castle with that on, PLUS hopefully participating in the Rapunzel show, will be :cloud9:

Here's my only other dilemma.....we have ressies at BBB at 930am. Does the Rapunzel show have set show times? If so, does anyone know what they are? How long is it to view the show and then get photos/autographs from them? I'm thinking I might need to move our BBB ressie back a bit just in case we can't make it there by 930. Same day we have lunch at Tony's and then dinner at the castle! Sheesh.....I wonder if there will be any time for rides?! :rotfl: We always need two days to do MK for sure!

I must be the only night owl (I work nights :cool1: ) You ladies chat all day while I'm sleeping and then I log on and have to catch up on 5 pages. Then I sit here at 3am talking to myself! :rotfl2:
