Please don't think of me as a party pooper but my only note would be to make sure DS has something under the hook jacket you like. When we went we were dying from the heat, even though it is at night it stayed hot most of the night. But they are BOTH great costumes

Another idea to keep up with each other while we are on our trips...If you post updates/pictures on facebook or twitter we could add each other on there, and follow along with each other. Just a thought.

So - my idea to pack today was the ice cube tray that makes the cubes that fit in our water bottles. I'm kind of a hippie and try not to use too much plastic so we will be bringing our water bottles in and these trays make stick cubes, since you aren't supposed to freeze the bottles themselves.

Yesterday I bought 6 bottles of laundry detergent (on sale and there was a special - ANYWAY) and realized, I won't be buying detergent again until after our vacation I also looked at some expiration dates and told the kids "Hey this doesn't expire until after we get home" Yes, actually everything IS about our upcoming trip

So today we went to finish Back to School shopping for my son and buy a few things for my classroom. And we stumbled upon Disney princess dresses on sale at Target. My DD really loves dress up so I bought her an Ariel dress to wear at Akershus. Last time we went, she was Belle. I feel like we are pretty set now with shirts and things, but I am still waiting for my Disney Store package. Come on UPS!

You guys are so welcome! I feel like we've all become friends here. As far as posting stuff on FB, I will be internet free for our trip! We don't have smart phones nor are we going to pay their INSANE price to use the internet.

Also, I've decided that I'm going to stick with our Boma ADR. If nothing else, I do love me some hummus! I also like curry so I should be fine!

I think you'll be happy. As I said on the Restaurant thread, the hummus is good and they have these giant pieces of thin, cracker like stuff to eat it on if you like. Its definately worth trying out.

This is a great thread. I think I've only posted one other time, but I've been reading. Hope everybody has a great trip with good weather (no hurricanes) and low crowds.

I would ABSOLUTELY start another thread if its needed. I will for sure be around until EVERYONE from this thread is back from their trips and I've heard stories. I have been with this thread for this long, I will not leave any of you now! I know that I'll be doing a trip report when we get back and I would love to be able to share it with all of you. The DIS will allow us to have another thread, so that is not a worry.

I'm kind of hoping that just because our trips are over in September that everyone just doesn't disappear. I'm kind of hoping we can keep some sort of group going, just as friends wanting to keep chatting about life and WDW. I would definitely offer up my time to hosting a thread like that too.

Us too - we don't leave til 24th so lots of stories of everyone else's trips will just get us all in the mode to go when its our turn... this board has to be one of the best I've seen - no silly bashing or cranking... we're just all about the mouse and fun!

Us too! We dont arrive till the 23rd so I am looking forward to reading everyones reports and any tips/advice they have before our trip!

I hit that sale at the Disney Store! I couldnt pass up $10 shirts for DH and myself!




We are staying at CBR this trip, where will you be staying?? Cant believe its getting so close for us!





We think alike! I just bought that shirt! It was too cute to pass up! And I also was going to buy DH the donald duck shirts, but they didnt have either one in his size! I even had the sales lady check the other Disney store by us but no luck.

We will be staying at BLT. this will be our first time there so I'm excited.

HAHA yeah I just loved that shirt. It's just so cute.

Gosh darn it!! I want to order some t-shirts but I already have enough for this trip... Maybe for my next trip in November???

And dbf will NOT wear any Disney clothes. I bought him an EPCOT shirt only because he loves EPCOT and it ONLY has the flags on it. I got him 2 Disney Hawaiian shirts that he is willing to wear because he loves those tacky things!! Although the Disney Hawaiian shirts are pretty nice.

4 weeks. So much is happening right now. I leave for a work conference in San Francisco on Monday, then back for a wedding in Memphis, and my parent's mobile home was wrecked last weekend by a windstorm so now they are looking at building a house. I can't WAIT for vacation!

I have a DIS pin but it is really tiny. I put it on my lanyard but amongst the other pins it might get lost. I am trying to figure out another way to make it obvious to other DISer's. I am gonna get some DIS green ribbon and make a bow out of it and put it in my hair. I also plan on painting my nails and toes DIS green as well!! LOL

I will also be with Grumpy, you can't miss him.

That is exactly what they are for. BTW I fill mine out stressing my cell #and put it in backwards so all my personal info isn't on display for the world. It is always wise to put a card with contact info. inside your bags too.

I work per diem and usually only work occasionally....lately though my work has needed a lot of help this month! I've been working soo much more than normal plus I'm working the next three Sundays too...I am exhausted and so ready for vacation now, LOL

On the upside...more Disney spending $$

I picked up my youngest DD a light up Rapunzel wand from the Disney store...figure she can use it with her Rapunzel princess dress and at night for parades and such I also bought both girls custom Minnie balloon girl T-shirts for the plane ride down, they should be here in a day or two And we also pack a pop up hamper for our dirty clothes. Usually we just have a cheap one but we found a Disney Princess one at TRU, makes it a little more fun

The carriage cages are really nice I thought and you can't beat the price! I heard to coat them with clear nail polish to make them last longer so I might try that.

I bought the girls' really pretty chains from Kohls to go with them

You should get some!
