September 2011 - The Planning Continues! (2nd Thread)

I was wondering... so many of us will actually be at WDW at the same time, but how many of us are planning on being in the same park at the same time.

Here is our itenerary....

Arrive at POR 9/11 (non-park day, just hanging at resort)
Monday 9/12 - DHS (late ADR at HDDR)
Tuesday 9/13 - AK
Wednesday 9/14 - US/IOA (Cheating on Mickey day)
Thursday 9/15 - MK (late ADR at Cape May)
Friday 9/16 - Epcot
Saturday 9/17 - Load car and breakfast at Riverside mill before hitting the road home

9/28 Arrive-hang out at hotel
9/29 DHS
9/30 AK and then MNSSHP @ MK
10/1 Epcot
10/2 Hotel/DTD/head home

27th Epcot

28th day off so probably resort and DTD

29th DHS

30th check out and then seaworld

We will be in AK the same day as you. I wish we could do 13 days! I guess I can't be too sad since our June trip was 10 days and we get to go back for a bonus trip, but it does feel likevthis trip is going to be light speed!

I wonder how many random dis-meets we'll have as we wander around trying to scope out people's little green buttons?

"Sorry ma'am, I didn't mean to stare at your chest, I was looking for a dis button." Yep, I can imagine that happening.

When we were there in June looking for LGMH we only saw one on a stroller near TSM.
Our June group had these logos on in various forms

We didn't see anyone with the logo displayed

4 weeks. So much is happening right now. I leave for a work conference in San Francisco on Monday, then back for a wedding in Memphis, and my parent's mobile home was wrecked last weekend by a windstorm so now they are looking at building a house. I can't WAIT for vacation!

Be prepared for the fog. I live about 5 miles from the city and we have had some foggy last couple weeks. I am so looking forward to some FL heat

We probably won't run into anyone because our park time is so limited! But here's what I look like when my hair is straight!

For those of you who have been in September... will there be a lot of bugs? We have a TON of mosquitoes right now and I'm SO tired of them.

We have never noticed them, but last year apparently POP was crazy with mating bugs everywhere and on everything. Not there in Sept. to confirm that. No problem in the parks at all.

We have no problem at all with mosquitos or fire ants this year in Austin due to the major drought that has a hold over us.

not at Disney. We haven't seen very many bugs at all. They have good pest control.
That being said... we did see this one at MK:

We will be at the same resort for a few days..15th-17th and my dd and I plan on making MK our first day on 9/15 and Epcot on 9/16!! So, we will be on the lookout for you!

Hey, maybe we'll see you there! 9/18 is our "take it easy" day at MK. For MNSSHP my DD will be Tink, my DH will be in a Jack Skellington Tshirt and I'll be in my Haunted Mansion wallpaper tank. We'll probably be wearing grins like these too:
