September 2011 - The Planning Continues! (2nd Thread)

Oh man! Just realized that we got tix that have water park option and more, well i knew we bought those, what I didn't know is that they are considered 2 separate sets of tix! So after all that planning I was leaving one major park day behind and 8 minor park days behind! I couldn't really fit a major park day in anywhere without screwing up all my plans so my wonderful soul mate told me to ADD A DAY ON

Sadly NO values are available, so I had to book CSR (but did get a "discount") and it was a bit more than I had wanted, but who cares, not only do I get to stay an extra day, I get to use up the rest of my Dxdp credits (and still have a couple for EOS for ride home!!) but we also get to do the parks a whole other day!! WAHOOOO!

I know you all can feel my excitement like no one else can!! I even snagged a MBYBBQ adr!! Which is odd cause I checked last night and nothing was available, checked again after I booked and nothing available! Talk about good timing and pixie dust!

So I kept clicking and trying, and still nothing! So I just figured someone else snagged it up. Two hours later I went back just to try "one more time" and poof there it was!!! I love pixie dust!!!!

Going to be at WDW Sept.13-25. Going on our daughters honeymoon .
Oh along with her 3 kids, my other daughter, 3 grandsons, 5 close friends, and their 4 kids. 20 people altogether. Nothing like taking 18 people on a honeymoon . We are also celebrating our 30th anniversary and granddaughters 1st birthday. I feel sorry for anyone staying at Port Orleans.

43 Days until our first trip to WDW!! Staying at POP Century Sept 23-Oct 3rd. BEYOND excited..going vacation shopping this weekend!!!

I love shopping for a Disney vacation. Have fun. We'll be at POP the same time as you. I'm sure we'll have an awesome time. 39 more days for us. Hoping it goes by quick. So excited.

This shopping for Disney is getting me into TROUBLE!!! between new walking shoes, Disney t's, and other needed items. But thanks to a Macy's coupon, clearance prices, and Kohl's cash I got a new bra (oh so comfy and Disney friendly) and 7 pairs of underoos for $12.57!!! I am jumping for JOY!!

I think I got everything figured out clothing wise, for myself at least. DBF is on his own, except for Hawaiian Disney shirts for dinners/evenings out. I got comfy shoes, needed undergarments, purses, new DIS green camera bag, earrings, hair accessories. I think I got it covered?? I am sure I am missing something

So re-rethinking ADRs again and my mind is spinning. To keep or cancel, to change for new ones, to cancel and just do CS instead. DBF is worried that I won't eat much at the buffets (doing Cape May and BOMA) and I will feel like I wasted money on the meal. Not a waste because I won't like it, but waste because I haven't been eating a lot lately and my appetite is diminished. (hello, stressing out here dude!!) But most TS meals are the same price point as the buffet prices, and with the buffet I can pick and choose rather than be stuck with 1 item. I am thinking I will do a combo, and keep BOMA. I really want to see AKL and try something new. I may cancel Cape May and do a CS at Poly or at MK. I really want to see Wishes (I have never seen it before) and it won't be running any other night we are there due to Night of Joy. Like I said mind is spinning. Sorry for the ramble. I know ya'll will understand!!

I would complain about too many options, but at least I got options right? Does anyone have suggestions for CS at Poly or MK. How is Captains Cooks? The menu looks interesting. Off to the dining board.....

I finally finished my daughter's "Wendy" costume for MNSSHP!

The sleeves don't actually stick out-lol-that's from the hanger!

Want to share a couple of funnies. First, DH was dressing DS this morning and picked up a shirt...which I made him put back down. When he asked why, I said "I want to take that one to Disney World and I don't want him to get it dirty". DH gave me an odd look and said "we aren't going for a month right?"

I didn't have time to 'splain to him that toddler dirt sometimes doesn't come out and I didn't want that shirt stained!

You are not alone! I have a bag in DD's closet with all her Disney tshirts so that they don't get lost (I don't know where some of the clothes we send down the laundry chute end up!) or dirty. Better safe than sorry!

Wow! We will be one of those on the lookout for 20 people celebrating together.... Just watch out for the 2 crazy ladies... the older driving an electric w/c and the other in a big hurry to get everywhere driving an ECV!

We added a night to the begining of our trip also but that day is a room only since the FD don't start to the follwing day. I was able to get the same resort at least. But for my dates there is alot still available and I was even surprised that POFQ had standard rooms left for FD for my dates.

I'm still hoping for a CP lunch or Breakfest to open up. We have one adr at CP at the end of the week. But I have been looking for something for the first day I have even looked for 1900, CM and Ohana's with nothing.

Elianor- I have got a funny president story from my dd who is 6. She says Abraham Lincoln is her fave president. Why I ask? Oh because he keeps all his notes in his big hat mommy. You gotta love what comes out of the mouths of babes! I can't wait for her to see him at the hall of presidents! 30 days to go for us! We can't wait for everything that mommy has in store for her famdamily. Yay and yeah buddy!

Ticker check time!

Going to start inventorying what I have today. Managed to snag a great groupon so will want to shop on Saturday for me and DH. Changed one or two of my ADR's, my agent must hate, er love me by now LOL. Thankfully she made most of our ADR's for us at the 180 day mark. I have just, um, tweeked it a bit haha.

Managed to snag two Alice in Wonderland costumes at Party City for $5 each yesterday, and need to get started on the girls Mickey Dresses. The biggest problem I am having is my son. He is very particular about what he wears (he is three tomorrow) and wont have anything to do with my cute ideas to match them all! I think I may have to bribe him with getting him a new Cars shirt so that he will wear his Mickey outfit the same day the girls wear their Minnie ones...

Off to print off the ultimate packing list and start checking off things!

In exactly 4 weeks from today, I will arrive at POP and hopefully by this time will have ridden at least 1 ride at DHS (maybe more)!!

I am getting antsy and my co-workers are getting sick of me talking about my trip, so I am keeping it to myself (this is very, very hard btw).

I got a bunch of my lanyard pins in the mail. This has become my new obsession apparently, darn EBAY! I won't be getting Disney mail so I have my pins to look forward to!!
