I don't think I have posted on this thread yet...
We are going 9/25-10/2, staying CR MK View! First trip for the family. I have been to the parks a couple of days throughout my life, but never for a whole week and never stayed onsite. Super excited!!!

We have not told our girls yet -- don't want to hear for the WHOLE summer, "when are we going? when are we going?" over and over again. We will tell them sometime in August. Let them help get ready for the trip a bit but not for too long.

We are doing MNSSHP on the 28th and my Aunt & Uncle are coming down from NC to join us for the first 1/2 of the week. I really don't know how I am going to get through the next few months!!!

I haven't either. I have no idea what to expect.

Wow. I don't see how you keep it from your daughters! But I am the kind of person that buys a birthday gift early because I saw it and it was PERFECT for them, and end up giving them the gift a month before the event! LOL For mother's day I kept asking my Mom "do you want your present now??" She said "NO! Its not mothers day!" LOL

I have to ask, what is MNSSHP? I have seen so many acronyms and I have no idea what they stand for! lol

Finally talked DH into Disney this year!!! We didn't get to do anything big for our 10yr anniversary...so We are going to Disney for our 11yr anniversary and bringing the kids! Cheapest place on site for the 5 of us is POR, so cant wait! We went in Dec 08 and stayed at the cabins at Ft Wilderness at 40% Off (it spoiled us), but I'm sure this will be great too. Thank you Disney for Kids stay,play,eat for FREE! "happy dance

I can get that way about gifts too.. My Mom got her Mothers day gift a week early, but there was a reason too. Unfortunately, sometimes I get a gift so early that by the time the event comes around I either forgot about it or forgot where I put it.

I also have had trouble figuring out some of the acronyms, MNSSHP is one I actually know... Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party... just have never been to it.

I've never been to MNNSHP since I've never gone to Disneyworld during the time they hold it but this year we will be there. I want to get tickets but wondered how far in advance I should buy them? Do they really sell out (and I mean in September, not the day before or of Halloween)?

My best friend Emily (a fellow Disney fanatic) and I will be making our 3rd annual trip 9/21-9/26. Staying at POP CENTURY.

We are both in our late 20s, recently married, Disney pin traders and Disney fanatics.

Our husbands just don't understand our fascination, so we just go without them!

We would LOVE to meet up with fellow DISers--especially ones of the pin trading variety--kids or adults, serious pin traders or casual!

Well, we are going on a GIRLS ONLY trip for my daughter's 18th birthday. She is bringinghe friend and I am just mom. It's hard leaving my son and husband home but my wonderful husband wants us to do a mother/daughter trip..

We have booked POR and am excited to get free dining. I have never stayed there or on property really ...but I have gone to WDW many times.
Any hints on what building to ask for? Would like to be close to a pool and bus depot..and is possible the dock for the boat to downtown disney.

Anyone else going this time of Sept.

We stayed there in February and were in building 18, room 1811. That side of the building is close to both the main building and the quiet pool..plus not far at all the old man island.

Girls trips are the best!!! I have gone with the whole family and with just my daughters. The one with my daughters was so perfect we are going back in September and taking my mom. The guys can just stay home!

Yes it does sellout !!, they only sell so many tickets for it. The park is closed early and just MNNSHP people are allowed in. Its a lot of fun with kids, everybody dresses up in costumes and they have fireworks at the end of the night.

We are at 99 days to 'The Happiest Place On Earth'. Now it is really time to get excited. All dinners are booked. We are dinning at Tony's Town Square, Planet Hollywood, Le Cellier, Rose and Crown, Raglan Road, Coral Reef, Prime Time and Liberty Tree. We really enjoy Le Cellier so much that we are going there twice.
Can't wait to get on the plane from Cleveland to Orlando
