Can anyone identfy what my abusive spouse is wearin' on her wrists? Whom-ever guesses correctly wins a free Mickey Ice cream bar with sprinkles at the ice cream challenge. Yeah - it doesn't sound like much - and that's cuz it's not that tough a question. EXCEPT - I'm looking for specific answers.

Cheers!

Probably not specific enough but they look like sea bands to me. And if that is what they are - they must have been working because she looks fit as a fiddle to me!

Here's our little 110 pound Samoyed! We found him through Samoyed Rescue and - he is the sweatest companion you could possibly hope for. Cuurently he is serving community service time with my sister - as her dog recently passed away - and our Sammy stole a bunch of freshly baked cookies so my spouse sentenced him to community service duty with my Sis. Since then my sister has been cooking lean chicken, steaks and beef ribs for him. Plus she's been tortureing him with Sieera Club canine hikes and beach visits. Life is tough when you're "serving time", eh?

...and I believe that's a bucket of Thai Curry the critter just cleaned up there in his paws!

It is going to be like getting the kids back from Grandma's when he comes home! I have no idea what I am even looking for - could always rescue another grey... But, whatever I do it will have to be in October because I am going on a cruise!!!

:welcome: To all the newbies and lurkers :welcome:

You are in for a great time with a great bunch of people.

Amber (luvdis31), your extenders went into the mail today.

We will be taking requests to have Fish Extenders mailed out until the 31st of August. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Any after that will have to be taken to the ship. So if you want to decorate yours ahead of time get your request in soon. We will not be able to send them out quite as quickly right now because we have finally used up our reserve and need to get some more made. Should have more ready by the end of next week. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Question RE: PJ Breakfast

Since I'm still trying to get caught up on all the events happening onboard....if I planned the breakfast for Tuesday September 19th from 8 am to 9:30 am in Triton's......would that interfere with anything else planned??????

Other Events On Board

Also...oh Linda......are you still planning on having a scrapbook class???????

.....and is there a stateroom tour planned for this cruise??????

Yes, just swamped at work getting budgets finished, and then I promise I will post details!

So happy you and Leslie are joining us! Does that mean another Chair brigade is in order?

Does anyone know of a good kennel around Port or in Orlando? We are getting a maltese this weekend if all goes well and I want to use a reputable place, not a place where they just stick them in a cage for a week. Any suggestions? I think i'm looking for a doggie resort kind of.
TINK...
we used this place on our last trip to mickey's place....Bass Pet Motel . We were very pleased with the way they took care of Tippy. Would definitely go back.

:welcome: to those that I have missed. I am sure that we are all going to have a great time.

What is everyone doing in Barbados? That is the only place that I don't have anything planned. Just looking for some suggestions.

Everyone stay cool and dry.

Wait for me!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually we are snorkeling with turtles, but when we get back, I will be going to the Malibu Rum Distillery, with or without Peter :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That music to my ears and wallet...I own a liquor store in Alabama, and one of our cruises was deverted to Purto Rico. I toured the Bacardi plant while there and when I returned home I contacted my Accountant and was able to write off most of the cruise! OK, before everyone starts drooling...Alabama is the most expense state for liquor. We have a 63% state liquor tax, thats right 63% and that's not a typo! Plus I have to buy from the state's Wholesale stores, so my cost will still be higher than any other state in the Country. With that said, I bid everyone a goodnight.

I can just see the announcement in the Barbados papers on Saturday September 23 (the day after we visit).....

"Malibu Rum Distillery is currently closed due to lack of stock caused by a group of people wearing lime green shirts and wearing lanyards declaring "11 Days in Paradise" buying all available stock yesterday. We apologize for any inconvience this maycause!!!!"

Elaine, you forgot to mention that they will also be wearing an identifying lanyard.

Sounds good to me. Let's organize our own excursion. We'll find a designated driver and have a great time sampling all the rum. :drinking1 Shhh.. don't tell them I'm coming... they may close down and hide behind the curtains!
Just how much are we allowed to bring back from this cruise.... anyone know?? ;)

We are stuck in LA. We were supposed to be out of here last night at 9pm local time :furious: We are headed out now (horefully) to head home. Pray for us, LA traffic is fierce. Morning All! This just makes me want the cruise to get here faster. I long to be up on deck with an Enchanted Forest in my hand and a smile on my face, not stuck in the concrete jungle trying to get home. Hey, I think the mickey mouse ice cream eating contest is a yummy idea. I would lose but would have a great time trying to win. No one ever answered my question about the Radisson meet. What exactly are we doing besides "meeting". Do we need to bring anything, drinks-snacks-booze :) ? Just wondering what we are doing and what time we should show up because we are looking at a 7 1/2- 8 hr drive for us.

We were in LA too, but at DL. I was there with my daughter from 7-14 until yesterday. We flew, but also managed to get stuck in some of that LA traffic going to the airport.

Not sure the other gals will approve, but since they aren't here...I found their pirate names:

Sharon: Evil Prudence
Vicki: Swashy Sophie MacPhearson
Diana: Cabinlass Jeannie
Frances: Privateer Charlotte the Winsome
Me/Stacey: Seaman Elizabeth the Horny Toe

I want a different Pirate name! I don't want to be a cabin lass.

I haven't been able to get away with "Lass" for quite a few years!

Excited to hear about the Michael Jordan presentations, sounds right up my alley. My travelling mates might attend the food ones with me, but I think I might be the only wino.

Leslie! Glad you're on the cruise. It will be good to see you again.

Hey Tom, Photos showed up and on your wife's left wrist is a Reliefband.

Great news!! It's a short walk from the port!! Don't need a designated driver, unless Leslie is going horseback riding in St. Lucia :confused3 :confused3 :lmao:
