Seems that September 10th is a popular date. This happens to be our youngest daughters birthday too. Kayla will be turning four on the 10th. She has already informed us she will be celebrating her birthday for the entire length of our vacation. An empty suitcase has been thought of to bring back all of her "presents".

I call on CROM (AKA - the diety of Conan the Barbarian) to bless the less fortunate (the 10ers') and offer to accept transfers to our sailing and thus instantly EMPOWER them with a wealth of silly DIS diversions + add St Kitts to their journey! Or, for a modest fee - I'll coordinate a DIS Micket Bar race for them and give them something to talk about!

While we're at it - let's pause for station identifcation and a brief infomercial on the ICE CREAM RACE:

Walk up entrants may be accomidated but we might run out of Mickey Bars - so you should RSVP for inclusion. Plus I have to make award certificates in advance of the cruise. Please PM me before September 14th to get a personalized award certificate OR leave a note by my cabin by the 24th for inclusion! I'll have a few extra unpersonalized Awards for last minute additions!​

The time and location will be the Monday the 25th on deck 10 outside on deck near the Palo entrance @ 2 PM. Look for the mob. Please come on by for the photo opp on the rogues gallery of participants! THE COVETED I-C Race BUBBA MUG TROPHY will go to the winners of each group! Over and under age 15 groups.

Just booked this week and found this board today. We'll be cruising with my youngest (age 11 son), and celebrating his 12th birthday, which occurs right after the cruise. This is his first cruise - and our first Disney cruise - (RCCL and CCL in the past). I'm excited to experience the Disney service and the great itinerary for this cruise.

Looks like I've got access to a lot of information and reading to do to catch up with this clan before we go!

WOW... finally caught up!!
I now know WAY too much about big screen tv's... thanks ... I'll stick with my little 32" jury rigged Sony. To get the picture it has to be run thru the VCR and audio thru the stereo.. but what the heck... you can't buy a REGULAR TV anymore!! I don't want flat screen or projection or plasma or HDTV.. I want a new REGULAR tv and no one has them!!!!! Okay.. sorry about the venting.

Just get one of them "regular" models at Costco. My "regular" TV just gave up the ghost - it was a 27" we got when we got married 10 years ago. So - it is definately NOT HD or anything exotic. PLUS - you'll get Costco's legendary return policy.

I would think that would be a SOLAS violation, or they might thiink we were not serious about it, so drop those simi Gumby outfits (life jackets) and get that grass skirt on and head up to the Sail Away Party.

Interesting lifejacket fact, jumping into the water from a height of 5 meters or more, will cause on to break their neck.

Gotcha! Eventhough there are so many people that very obviously do not take the drills seriously, I don't want to go overboard <tfpic> by wearing a GS to it! I'll let Kitster know, and she'll be disappointed, cuz she already dared me.

Well, six weeks from now it will be us arriving at the terminal. Considering it was almost a year ago that we booked our reservations we have come a long way.
