September 17, 2006 - 11 Night Southern Caribbean Part 2

Seems that September 10th is a popular date. This happens to be our youngest daughters birthday too. Kayla will be turning four on the 10th. She has already informed us she will be celebrating her birthday for the entire length of our vacation. An empty suitcase has been thought of to bring back all of her "presents".

Our poor 10 night cousins.

I checked out there thread and {your diety of choice} bless them. They are trying but they don't have half as much as we have going on.

maybe things will pick up for them here shortly.

LOL!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I call on CROM (AKA - the diety of Conan the Barbarian) to bless the less fortunate (the 10ers') and offer to accept transfers to our sailing and thus instantly EMPOWER them with a wealth of silly DIS diversions + add St Kitts to their journey! Or, for a modest fee - I'll coordinate a DIS Micket Bar race for them and give them something to talk about!

Just booked this week and found this board today. We'll be cruising with my youngest (age 11 son), and celebrating his 12th birthday, which occurs right after the cruise. This is his first cruise - and our first Disney cruise - (RCCL and CCL in the past). I'm excited to experience the Disney service and the great itinerary for this cruise.

Looks like I've got access to a lot of information and reading to do to catch up with this clan before we go!

:welcome: Kathryn and family! Looking forward to meeting you in six weeks.

I am sure the others will have fun.

OK... now I've the the 7th highest tally of postings at 186 and only need to gain 102 postings on ICU NURSE to take #6 at 288. Like that's gonna happen anytime this week? Hmm... maybe by early next week? :confused3

Had supper last night at the cracker barrel (dinner) for our Northern friends. Thinking that after another load of furniture, it will be time to go back and have the meatloaf dinner there. Mike

Welcome Kathryn in MN
Seems like the thread keeps getting more and more livelier.
New people all the time. That's great.
The 10 day thread is picking up steam also.

Was going to log on earlier this afternoon. Got sidetracked on AolIM.
Wow, it is unbelievable how much some women can talk. :teeth:

WOW... finally caught up!! :thumbsup2
I now know WAY too much about big screen tv's... :happytv: thanks ... I'll stick with my little 32" jury rigged Sony. To get the picture it has to be run thru the VCR and audio thru the stereo.. but what the heck... you can't buy a REGULAR TV anymore!! I don't want flat screen or projection or plasma or HDTV.. I want a new REGULAR tv and no one has them!!!!! Okay.. sorry about the venting.

Just get one of them "regular" models at Costco. My "regular" TV just gave up the ghost - it was a 27" we got when we got married 10 years ago. So - it is definately NOT HD or anything exotic. PLUS - you'll get Costco's legendary return policy.

How about this 20" LCD TV for $369? But then again - your local store probably has reular big TUBE conventional 27" TVs for $250 or somethinglike that! Check it out!

I would think that would be a SOLAS violation, or they might thiink we were not serious about it, so drop those simi Gumby outfits (life jackets) and get that grass skirt on and head up to the Sail Away Party.

Interesting lifejacket fact, jumping into the water from a height of 5 meters or more, will cause on to break their neck.
Gotcha! Eventhough there are so many people that very obviously do not take the drills seriously, I don't want to go overboard <tfpic> by wearing a GS to it! I'll let Kitster know, and she'll be disappointed, cuz she already dared me. ;)

Well... I dunno... it may be something in the way people react as I walk UP to them with the IPOD blaring my own voice rather then any music... I dunna... :rotfl2: In truth, I don't even own an Ipod. I lead a sheltered life...

Well, six weeks from now it will be us arriving at the terminal. Considering it was almost a year ago that we booked our reservations we have come a long way.

Everyone enjoy the rest of your weekend! I am still struggling with yesterday (dog went to heaven because I left a door open) and the fact that I have to tell DH and DS.

Gail...

... My spouse and I have been canine "friends" all our lives - and in the past 22 years we've been Samoyed pals! We feel your sorrow and offer our sympathy and supportive wishes.

Yeah....

Misery loves company -- even though I encouraged your DS to dare ya - as I said I would do it too on a dare. AND just as quick I retracted the offer once Scott graciously gave me the right excuse!
