3:30 am I checked Poly online for RO Poly GV CL and there was nothing so I booked BWI CL

I'm not willing to change my reservations so I will just keep trying...if I don't get a discount then oh well

Called at 7 hoping to add the discount to my existing reservation. On hold for an hour. Gave the CM my information and she pulled up my reservation and then.....we got disconnected!!! Now I get "all circuits are busy now". I am beyond mad. Heading to work and will try tonight.

I simply booked my new room on line, and will call later to cancel the original reservation.

My original reservation for the Poly was going to cost $5,771. The costs after the new discount was applied were $4,039. Subtract the $351 deposit AND our $2,200 in Disney Visa Reward Dollars, and our 11 night stay at the Poly will now cost approximately $1,488.

After an hour on hold I was able to apply the discount to my 2 rooms at BC GV for October. Already had a AAA discount but this saved a little more. Now ill keep fingers crossed that AP or DV discounts will come out & I can try those.

FINALLY got through, on hold for 90 minutes and they kept my same reservation and applied the discount, I don't think I paid the increased ticket price but I could be wrong, I need to check those numbers, saved less then $200 but I'll apply that to our meals, it's something!

I got through instantly - no hold time. Spent an hour on the phone - couldn't get any RO for BC garden view so moved to Yacht lagoon/pool view - saved just over $700. Will keep checking back to see if anything opens up at Beach Club.

Still holding at 1 hr 15 mins plus. Don't understand how people calling back later are getting through so much faster. I even had two phones on hold (different Disney numbers), but hung up cell to try again after seeing so many people get through so much faster. Now I can't get through at all on the cell.

I am wondering the same thing.

Agree. Are people saying "new reservation" maybe instead of "change reservation?"

59 mins. here and I have tried calling on cell as well--nothing "instant" about it. Circuits busy in fact.

1:27 on hold. While waiting I went ahead and booked reservation. Previously I was staying 3 nights at Poly and 3 nights at Villas at Wilderness (studio). Was able to keep Poly for the 3 nights and switched to regular Wilderness Lodge in bunk bed room (a little weird for two adults, but I'm going with it) for 3 nights. Savings of over $800!!!! I spoke to CM and transferred my requests and cancelled my previous reservation. She was nice, but definitely alluded to how crazy busy they are and how slow the system is.

Thank you all so much!! I've had so much fun anticipating today. I though 8/1 would never come. Not sure what to do with myself now!

Don't hang up, keep on hold, you'll make it! I heard those songs like 3 times each!

BBs are a different department. You'll be fine.

As far as people holding and others getting in, I'd try calling fresh on a new phone. Their phone lines always get wonky with this much traffic. New or existing choices aren't going to matter today.

Finally got through after 1 hr 30 min on hold. I was able to change my existing room only BC standard room to the room only discount. I was very happy since online did not have the standard rooms available. I saved $130...not a huge amount because I already was using a AAA room discount. I am hoping when my daughter finally gets to Disney this month as part of the college program that I can get an even better rate, but at least I have this if not.

I'M BUMMED!!!! Waited on hold over an hour even though I got right through at 7:00.

Had to go from POFQ with Dining (because of price) to Pop Century Standard Room pay out of pocket for food. Also, they took away my old ticket prices and charged me the higher prices, only 15% off at Value, so....I ended up with just a 10% discount for early December after raising my ticket price. That stinks!!

The higher room only discounts that were speculated were apparently only for international travelers. That is not fair to all of us frequent travelers.
