It's not my stuff on ebay - cuz I've already used some of my things. I keep my foot spa nearby stocked with all my goodies.

Mary - John paints my nails - I tell him to think of them as those model cars that you put together and then paint

OMG another TZ moment. That's what I told Mark the first time I asked him to do it (he has done it before and he is into painting models so I know he's good with the details).

Funny story. A few years ago KT wanted to get Nick (probably age 6 at the time) one of those Volkswagon CD players for Christmas. Nick was trying to get us to tell him what his gift was, so at the store we pointed out a "foot bath." Everytime he asked what he was getting for Christmas we said "a foot bath." Do you know that on Christmas day that little 6 yr old was DISAPPOINTED that he didn't get a foot bath?????

Diana - the looters must have hit the Christmas Tree Shop in Spring Valley too!!!

It was a bad idea to go shopping on Monday. Route 17 was a zoo and the weather was such a bummer. Would've finished my scrapbook sooner than 1:00AM on Tuesday morning if I didn't waste my time. I did meet my goal of finsihing it within one month of returning - YEAH

At the CTS I found cute Mikey, Cinderella and Lion King crayons which I'll put in the holiday toy drive so the trip was semi successful. I'm headed back there next Friday.

I'm heading to the Christmas Tree Shops tomorrow. Not in Spring Valley, we have one here in Albany. I'll have to look out for those. A BIG advantage of being a SAHM is that I don't have to go to the CTS on weekends....that place can get dangerous!

Lisa, you and I need to compare notes to see who the recipients of our gifts were. Maybe we can figure out who listed this as I don't see my items in there.

Just how is something you gave to someone considered something which was given away on the ship for the member cruise? What you gave to some of us had nothing to do with the member cruise, but more with the friendships we made on this thread.

Like you, I have no problem with someone selling their extras or all of what they received. It's theirs, and theirs to do what they chose with it. But, you went out of your way to acknowledge someone to try and make them feel special about this cruise. Gee, if it were me, I think I'd have preferred to have my gift thrown in the garbage instead of being included in an auction like this.

I just don't get this.

Hmmm... maybe there is a way to figure it out. All I know right now, is that my feelings are kinda hurt. Not that I expected anyone to build a shrine to my momentos (but they could have a nice framed picture of me in their house ), but I think they could at least have the decency not to put it for sale in a public place. Like you said - throw it away if you hated it.

I don't blame him! I got a foot bath and one of those parafin wax thingys a couple of years ago....the BEST gifts I've gotten in years!

I would never sell the pens or any of the other gifts I was given. As Cindy said - it is about friendship.

John & I were cleaning out my sons closet and putting his stuff in some boxes to send up to the attic. He had two boxes with different model cars in them that haven't even been opened. John spotted them and then I hear all the ohs & ahs! You would have thought he was a little kid opening his presents on Christmas morning. I'm hoping he put them back in the storage box.

Ok, here's what I think too....why include it in an ebay auction? It's not like someone is going to look at the listing and say "pins, oh they're ok, bag, nah, can get that anywhere, mickey sketchbook, I can get those at WDW....OH, WAIT...LOOKIE HERE....OH MY, I ALMOST MISSED IT!!!! Sole Relvealer Foot Scrub....oh, I MUST win this auction!!!!!"

That's it! It must be the deal breaker of the auction.

Well, I looked around on ebay--did a little research. I don't even think that seller was ON the 2005 Member Cruise. Looks like they just buy and then resell Member Cruise and DVC *stuff.* Hmmmm.....

maybe this is just a red herring, huh?

I won't even show John this post - he would definitely be jealous of you having your own little spray booth!

Thanks - we cheated and had Micheal's do it. John made me 4 frames for my family room (a few years ago). He cut the mats, the wood for the frame, tested and retested the stain until he got the color I wanted and bought the glass. I didn't have the heart to ask him to do the Litho after all the work those 4 pictures took. I know he really enjoyed doing the pictures especially when someone comments on them.
