I'm waiting to see one of my green pens on ebay.

Excuse me - have to go retract my auction. Just kidding! :rotfl:

I would never sell the pens or any of the other gifts I was given. As Cindy said - it is about friendship.

:rotfl2: That's too funny. I think I have a few extras $10 a piece!! I was just telling Lisa and Cindy I needed to buy more points, thanks for the idea on how I can do it! :rotfl2:

I got my litho back from Michael's today. It's hard to tell in the photo, but they put spacers between the litho and the mat boards to give room for the space needed for the pins. I was going to put the pins in order of the days we received them, but the last two we got have red on them and with both of them on one side it looked too heavy.

That looks awesome....I need to get my butt in gear. We just bought a new family room set and that litho framed and matted would make a great addition to the room!

Lisa - public service announcement. Sweep, sweep, sweep. Clean up that inbox!

I know, it really looks GREAT!!! I also need to get working on my Mickey's self portrait cross stitch. It looks SO good all framed.

Stacy,

I completely understand the idea of finances taking over your life... we bought a new truck last December, and a new house last April!

Speaking of second jobs... someone from the cruise seems to be making a second job off of E-Bay. I had no problem with people selling the extras they got aboard the ship on E-Bay, but someone actually had the AUDACITY to include something I had put in my goodie bags in their auction!!!

I wonder if I should be waiting for a check to cover my "contribution" to the auction. :rolleyes1 Talk about tacky...

Auction with my goodie bag item!!

There's only one word to describe that...and it's pathetic. :sad2: And this goes well above and beyond the stealing/freebie ebay argument that got ugly earlier. And I'm sure there are going to be people who say well if this person doesn't use this type of stuff they should sell it....here's my take on it....if you really don't want this little token of friendship given to you, donate it, pay it forward. The holidays are coming up and there are many battered womens shelters or even teens that get adopted at Christmas who would love and truly appreciate something like that around the holidays. Pathetic....absolutely pathetic, I am totally and completely disgusted. Sorry you had to find that out Lisa, I know you meant well by giving gifts and many of us did appreciate them and you for giving them. :sad2:

Hi everyone...

Amy - Love your slushy pic. And a DVD for me would be terrific. The price is so reasonable too if you can keep it in that range. Thanks for the hardwork.

Julie - Congrats. I hope to be house-hunting w/ DBF soon.

Mark - I personally love the horn on the ship. I can't get enough of it :) I wish it could be piped into the cabins. It's just soooooooo coool. You have a fab recording of it - I must say.

Lisa - OMG That is so weird. You've gotta have a clue as to who it might be, based on who got the goody bags? I looked at the auction and couldn't tell which item it was. Just curious (cause it may add to the weird factor) Was it something from the kids goodie bags you did? I wasn't part of that and maybe that's why I didn't recognize the item.

Gail - I LOVE YOUR FRAMED ITEMS! SOOOOO COOOL. They look gorgeous. I haven't taken up cross-stitch. I'm just starting to p/u stuff, now that my grad classes are done and h/w doesn't suck up all of my time :Pinkbounc The library I work at is going to offer knitting classes in Nov. and Dec. - I signed up and the teacher is a HUGE Disney fan so hopefully I can do some project that includes the mouse. I always look to tie "Disney" into everything...can any of you relate? :earsboy: I'll keep you posted on my projects.

Cindy - Glad you had a sorta good time. My parents loved their long weekend down there. It's so funny to see their pics from MNSSHP. It's like those commericials of the adults at Disney. I agree with all of your comments regarding complaints. I think you're right that a lot of people "expect" stuff and often apologies don't come as quick as waranted. I contribute this to a few things. I've been going to WDW at least 2-3 times a year since 1981 and when the "world" was a lot smaller attention to detail and guest satisfaction was much higher. As it gets larger and larger it's harder to satisfy everyone and keep things consistent. Also, I notice the # of things on a given trip that cause frustration may add up. In your example the meat and the luggage delay and the phone. One thing I can handle, several things tick me off. But then again maybe my expectations are much higher than someone elses (but not because I "expect" things) so I often back off and figure it's just me. Prior to the cruise I had very noisy neighbors at BC (Concierge Level) and I let it go at the risk of being labeled a "complainer." But as someone mentioned pages back..."we get it!" which may also skew our view?!??! If I haven't just talked in a totally confusing circle I may have posed food for thought.

Finally...
I'm VERY sad that I didn't get a CC CD :confused3 Was anyone able to make a copy of it?

NEWSFLASH ~ Thanks to the rain soaked 3-day weekend MY SCRAPBOOK IS DONE (all 150 pages). After the fact I remembered Amy's DVD and went "DUH!" But I'll just stick it in a page and it'll be the multi-media portion of the book (i.e. after looking at the book, pop in the dvdv :) )

Okay...off to bed. So nice to catch up w/ all of you!

Cindy & Lisa - I will be the first to admit that I'm not such a girly girl that I go to spas etc. However I treasure the foot treats that I got from you. I have them packed away in the bedroom and some weekend I just going to treat myself to some spa treatment at home. Maybe I can even get Mark to do my nails for me (I can't reach very well). :)

Thank you for thinking of me and thanks to everyone who left little treats and notes. The friendships I made on this cruise will not soon be forgotten. And hopefully we'll be sailing together again soon!

Gail - I have a number of wonderful cross stitch pictures in our house - all thanks to my Mother. Looks like your Mom does work as beautiful as hers.

They definitely are priceless mementos!

PLEASE come here and start mine!! I'm dreading even getting organized, and I'm using waiting for Amy's DVD as an excuse! :rotfl2:

Woodbury Commons this weekend was insane. DH said the stores we went into looked like they had been gone through by looters! :rotfl2: It was the worst I've ever seen it and I've been there the day after Christmas. But--we got a JoJo lunchbox for 1.99, a Cinderella poncho for $3.99 and a Stitch bubble blower for 1.99....so it wasn't a lost cause. The Childrens Place outlet had summer shorts, tees, sweaters for 49 cents each!! But the line was about 40 people long and I just didn't have the patience to beat people up for clothes the girls can't wear until next year.

NEVER! I use mine all the time!!!
Aren't they GREAT pens?!?!? We loved them when we made them for our cruise 2 years ago.

I still owe some extras to some people that asked for them. I hope to find them again soon until this pile of junk on my desk. :guilty:

Ok, here's what I think too....why include it in an ebay auction? It's not like someone is going to look at the listing and say "pins, oh they're ok, bag, nah, can get that anywhere, mickey sketchbook, I can get those at WDW....OH, WAIT...LOOKIE HERE....OH MY, I ALMOST MISSED IT!!!! Sole Relvealer Foot Scrub....oh, I MUST win this auction!!!!!"

:confused3

Hey, ya know....I used the stuff pretty much right after I got home. (I admitted it already, I'm a girly girl!) It was really nice.....hmmm....maybe I'll bid on it! :scratchin

Maybe you could give me the name of the company and I can be the PEN HERO of the Double Scoop Cruise!!! :rotfl2:

Diana - the looters must have hit the Christmas Tree Shop in Spring Valley too!!!

It was a bad idea to go shopping on Monday. Route 17 was a zoo and the weather was such a bummer. Would've finished my scrapbook sooner than 1:00AM on Tuesday morning if I didn't waste my time. I did meet my goal of finsihing it within one month of returning - YEAH :cool1:

At the CTS I found cute Mikey, Cinderella and Lion King crayons which I'll put in the holiday toy drive so the trip was semi successful. I'm headed back there next Friday.

Speaking of the Double Scoop Cruise - Amy you better get over there. We are over 18,000 now :)

It's not my stuff on ebay - cuz I've already used some of my things. I keep my foot spa nearby stocked with all my goodies. :cool1:

Mary - John paints my nails - I tell him to think of them as those model cars that you put together and then paint :rotfl2:
