A fair amount of times that I see people selling things out there I truly do not have ANY cash. I use my debit card or my Disney VISA so much that I rarely have cash actually ON me. A lot of those times I probably would buy a little something (for the kids) but I feel like they think I'm lying when I tell them I don't have any money. :(

Best of luck to Cameron on his sales. :)
You and I are EXACTLY the same. I hardly ever have cash, and when I do, I tend to spend it SO quickly. So, I don't get it very often. Heck, even at Disney you don't need to have cash for even a soda or ice cream anymore. And, even the soda machines at the TTC take credit cards.

Hey Cindy - we are still trying to come over to WDW next Sunday the 9th, after Emily's birthday party the day before. I'm sure that I won't have to twist Chris' arm too much, and the girls will go in a heartbeat. What are your plans on Sunday again (if you don't mind us tagging along)??

Sunday it looks like our plan is the MK. We have 10:20 Crystal Palace breakfast and dinner at Ohanas at 7 p.m. I could try and change either to a party of 6 if your interested. If not, we could just meet up at the MK. At least then Cameron might not give me such a hard time about going into Fantasyland as he thinks he's a little big for those rides. ;)

Not......when we were there after the cruise, I went to try and get a Fastpass for Winnie the Pooh. No passes available, as there was absolutely no line. I stood there for a moment and said to the CM, how can I pass this opprotunity up? So, I rode alone. :teeth: I hope no one was watching me as I was all smiles by myself.

Same thing with Peter Pan. I just couldn't pass up the opprotunity. Took my family a couple minutes to find me as they had to wait until I was done doing my solo ride so we could ride again as a family. :cool1:

Karen, I rarely have cash either and I can understand that. Several people last night asked if we could accept a debit/credit card. I'm sure it won't be long before Scouts figures out they are missing this nitch.

At least you are acknowledging the child standing out there. That's the important part. :)

Let me check with Chris, and I'll let you know. Somehow, I'm going to guess that he won't want to pass up O'Hana.

Well, I'm trying to get myself & the girls ready for birthday party #2 in a series of 4 birthday parties in just 3 1/2 weeks. And, that includes one that is Emily's. We had one last weekend, today, next Saturday (Emily's) and then next Wednesday afternoon. It's just crazy with birthdays this month around here.

Emily is really looking forward to her birthday party, because it's Ariel. We found a bounce house that is Ariel, that we rented for the day. I'm making a Wilton cakepan, Ariel cake, that I got off of eBay. We're having pizza and I'm trying to think up other "under the sea" type foods. We're going to have Goldfish crackers. I'm going to make Blue jell-o in a fishbowl with Swedish fish suspended in the jell-o. And, I think that I'm going to have blue juice. Any other ideas for a bunch of preschoolers. Plus, we'll have an Ariel pinata and a couple of little activities (fishing with dowel poles & felt fishies w/velcro and then making necklaces out of foamy fish beads). It should be a LOT of fun.

List is updated.

Everyone is welcome to be listed, so if your not, just post and I'll pick up your information from this thread and post the update again next weekend. :daisy:

I'll call later today to see about adding you all. I'd rather have a table for 6 and need a table for 2. ;)

Let's just hope we don't get "whatshisname" CM again. Definately not a Disney experience the last time we went there.

Ok, sounds good to me! And heck, maybe we can celebrate Emily's birthday too that night. She would probably LOVE it.

I bet the kids are going to have a blast. Great ideas. :cool1:

Absolutely!!! I'll let you know what I can do. :cheer2:

See, Amy, all we had to do was start posting to jump start our thread. :cool1:

I guess that you're right. I should just post and say HI when I come here, becuase maybe you guys are around, but just not posting!! I'm going through SERIOUS withdrawals from my DIS friends.

Good Morning everyone! I have to admit I was going through withdrawals yesterday too! Glad Mark posted his litho that he framed - it was exciting to see the finished product.

Amy - my 11 yo dd is standing over my shoulder (we're getting ready to leave for a soccer game) she saw the picture of your daughters and said "Wow those are two really cute little girls, how did their mom get them both to smile at the same time." I don't have the heart to tell her that she would have gotten to meet them if we would have brought her on the cruise.

Hi everyone! :wave2:

Mark - thanks for posting your completed Litho - you did an awesome job! I took the sketch in that I won from Ducky to have framed but did get the lithos done yet - I did pick up a very nice frame for one of them - it was not easy to pick one and I,too, wasn't sure how it would be with a black frame but with your great matting job, it looks great! Maybe I'll do my other one that way... someday.

Off to get more cleaning done - check on you all later.

Guess I missed that you have an 11 yr old dd. SO DO I!! You'd better be bringing her on the NEXT member cruise!! :)

Oh...but she's from "there"....KT may not play with her! HA HA HA :rotfl: :rotfl2:

OCtober must be DIS birthday month. We're headed there the 14th for Todd's birthday.

Also can you give a meal report from Ohana - I've heard the menu is still changing more.

Also Cindy, Thanks for the cape may picture. Todd has already decided that we MUST do that again.

CHeryl

Hey there everyone!!! :wave2:
I just got a chance to hop on the boards.

Mark - I really like how your litho came out. Very nice work. I'm still loking and deciding on how to do ours.

Cindy - Poor Cameron, luckily Nick's cub scout pack doesn't sell the popcorn that way they just take orders. There is always some gruop selling or collecting for something in front of the Walmarts by me. You want to help but you can't always or you'd go broke. It stinks when adults can't at least acknowledge the kids.

Amy - I just wanted to let you know my picture cd went postal today so keep an eye out for it next week.

Well unfortunately I have more house cleaning to do since Nick has a friend coming over today.

TTFN!!!

Mary, on the picture CD I sent to Amy, there is a picture of you receiving your sketch from Ducky. :cool1: Are you participating in the exchange?

Cheryl, actually Mary was the one who posted the impromptu DIS meet at Cape May picture. Funny how all of us were there at the same time and didn't really arrange it ahead of time. :teeth: It really is a "small world", isn't it.

Ohanas menu changes....I didn't realize when we dined there with Amy & Chris pre-cruise that the menu change was in the works. I knew I was disappointed that they didn't offer the pineapple with caramel sauce anymore. The potatoes we had were awesome. I've read that the wontons are no more ( ) and the shrimp has changed. I'm willing to give it a try and I hope afterwards it's still one of our favorites.

When we are all booked on the next cruise, maybe we can compile a list of the birthdays and anniversaries in the months to come. I think someone (Mary??) mentioned the idea a while ago.

It will help to pass the time. :flower:

My suggestion if everyone is up to sharing birthdays and anniversaries is to set up the photo gallery like what I'm doing for the May '06 cruise. Click on the link on my signature to see it.
